Description
Bei den heute bekannten Prothesen und Stützapparaten wird die Beweglichkeit an den Körpergelenken dadurch bewerkstelligt, daß man dort Scharniergelenke anbringt. Diese Scharniergelenke sind um einen Drehpunkt beweglich, während bei den Körpergelenken eine Verschiebung der Knochenköpfe gegeneinander stattfindet. Diese Verschiedenartigkeit leider Gelenke bringt stets eine Variation mit sich, so daß bei geringstem Rustchen der Prothesen oder Stützapparaten die Drehpunkte derselben mit denen der Körpergelenke nicht mehr übereinstimmen und so eine gute Beweglichkeit nicht mehr gewährleistet ist. Um das Verrutschen der Prothesen und Stützapparate zu vermeiden, soll ein Schultergurt diese stets in einer bestimmten-Lage' halten. damit die Drehpunkte der Scharniergelenke mit denen der Körpergelenke übereinstimmen.
