Description
'.Methods for cleaning objects The cleaning of objects takes place not only through mechanical treatment but also in such a way that one cleaning fluids on them, e.g. B. aqueous solutions of salts such as soap, phosphates etc., or organic solvents such as carbon tetrachloride, trichlorethylene, Perchlorethylene, gasoline, benzene and the like, or suitable mixtures of different, optionally also mutually insoluble liquids can act. While thin-layered fatty or water-soluble impurities by means of the above If the cleaning agent can be removed relatively easily, the removal is greater or encrusted layers of fat, in particular by means of cold cleaning fluid time consuming and the removal of the objects from adhering dust particles, e.g. B. emery or storage dust succeeds in very few cases. Especially the distance of the last-mentioned contamination by means of the usual cleaning agents is from of great practical importance, since manual cleaning is tedious and tedious is expensive. It also does not succeed to a sufficient extent through the action of Sound waves alone without the use of liquid, for example in the known manner, like the dust from the surfaces of dry electrical gas cleaners or metal parts removed from roasting and smelting furnace vapors. With these procedure it doesn't matter; d.that even the last remnants of dust are removed z. B. in the production of layers from metals, electrolytically very much have a disturbing effect. According to another method, the effect of sound is precipitation caused by 'clarifying agents in a liquid; but that is not the point about cleaning objects. '.
A process has been found which is practically complete purification or dedusting objects of all kinds in a simple and economical way made possible by the application of vibrations. It consists essentially in that the objects in contact with the vapor of a liquid with ultrasonic waves be sonicated. It is particularly useful to check the items before or after in the liquid with - to sonicate ultrasound waves. The sound of objects in contact with the vapor of a liquid and then in the liquid itself is advantageous, for example, when the objects are shaped so that the by the sonication and the action of the vaporous liquid from the surface detached impurities in depressions of the objects o. d.-1. to lie down, so that there is still the subsequent flushing action in the liquid and the action the sonication is required in order to finally remove the contamination from the objects :remove. But the opposite case can also occur that under the action of the Sonication first a treatment in liquid and then in the vapor of this liquid is zeveck-like. The latter is namely due to the permanent absorption of the detached impurities dirtier and dirtier, so that within a short time as a result of the dirt adhering to the goods is impeccably cleaned by the liquid is no longer possible. In contrast, the vaporous liquid does not contain any Dirt, so that in connection with the pure condensate that forms on the objects with the dirt-dissolving effect of the sonication one of the cleaning in the liquid subsequent complete cleaning of the objects is possible.
The cleaning of objects by sonication only in the liquid alone is not the subject of the invention.
For example, open or open objects are suitable for treating the objects closed metal cleaners in which they are exposed to organic vapor Solvents with optionally prior or subsequent treatment in the Exposed to liquid itself.
The sound is transmitted to the items to be cleaned in one the respective conditions adapted manner, z. B. like this. that the good and / or the cleaning agent illuminated by the switch or connected to it will. As such, mechanical, thermal or piezoelectric known per se Sounder can be used. In many cases the results will be particularly favorable achieved if two immiscible compounds are used as cleaning fluid, z. B. water and trichlorethylene: ethylene can be used. It is formed within all or only parts of the cleaning fluid, especially the Contact zone of the two liquids, very effective emulsions, their formation can optionally be supported by emulsifiers. It is appropriate due to the cleaning liquid during the sonication, small amounts of finely distributed Allow gases to pass through, reducing the havztation and thus the abrasive effect the liquid is amplified. Besides, it is also possible to fine-tune the liquid distributed solids, e.g. B. fibers, wood flour and the like. To add for the purpose of acceleration and increase the cleaning effect.
