Textile Bodenbeläge in Form von ungemusterten und gemusterten gewebten Teppichen etc. sind bekannt. Als gemusterte Bodenbeläge sind vor allem zu nennen: jacquardgemusterte Y/ebteppichböden, bedruckte Nadelfilzbeläge und bedruckte Tuftingware. Außer den klassisch gewebten jacquard-buntgemusterten Teppichen gibt es praktisch keine jacquard-gemusterten Beläge aus ge-.färbten Garnen, welche auch in kleinen Mengen einigermaßen preisgünstig herstellbar sind. Wegen des attraktiven Eindruckes von Jacrmard-Buntmusterun&en bestand daher das Bedürfnis, jacquardbiintg«musterte Bodenbelagsstoffe in noch preisgünstigerer Ausfünrune;sform als die bekannten gewebten Bodenbelagsstoffe zu schaffen. Aus diesem Grund stellte sich die Aufgabe, einen Bodenbelagsstoff, insbesondere einen solchen mit jacquardartiger Musterung, zu entwickeln, welcher sich auch in kleinen Herstellungsmengen preisgünstiger als die bekannten entsprechenden Artikel produzieren läßt.Textile floor coverings in the form of unpatterned and patterned woven carpets etc. are known.
