Description
Verfahren zur Verbesserung der Eigenschaften von Kautschuk und seinen Ersatzstoffen Es wurde gefunden, daß Kautschuk sowie seine Ersatzstoffe, z. B. Butadiennatriumpolymerisat und andere kautschukähnliche Polymerisate, durch Zusätze von Chlorparaffinen; insbesondemehöheren Chlorparaffinen, in ihren Eigenschaften sehr günstig beeinflußt werden. Die -Chlorparaffine üben eine stark weichmachende Wirkung aus. Man kann die Verschiedensten Chlarierungsstufen der Paraffine anwenden. Ferner kann man sowohl von festem als auch von flüssigem Paraffin dies Handels ausgehen, das man verschieden hoch chloriert hat. Da die Chlorparaffine eine gewisse Neigung haben, Salzsäure abzuspalten, kann man den Mischungen solche Stoffe zusetzen, die die abgespaltene Sialzs.äure abfangen, wie z. B. Salze schwacher Säuren oder seifenartige Stoffe.
