Abstract

Described is a mounting rail (1) for lights, the rail consisting of a hollow shaped-section bar (2) with an essentially square outside cross-section, the space inside being used to hold electric cables. Running along each of two opposite sides (5, 6) of the rail is a T-shaped groove (7) used for mounting lights (8), attachments (8'), etc., while one (2') of the other two sides has a longitudinal slot (3) in which a cover strip (4) can be removably inserted.
