Trotz dieser Verminderung der Reibung kommt es vor, daß die Steifheit- des aus den Biegewalzen austretenden Bandes nicht mehr genügt, um die noch verbleibende Reibung zu überwinden und die schwerer gewordene Bandrolle weiterzudrehen. Bei den bekannten Aufrollmaschinen ist das erreichbare Gewicht und die erreichbare Bandlänge eines gewickelten Bundes von der Steifheit des Bandes abhängig, die an sich wieder vön der Banddicke und der Temperatur beeinflußt wird.
