Claims (20)
1. Ultraschallenergie-Bearbeitungsverfahren, bei dem ein
Horn, das in der Lage ist, als ein Halbwellenlängeresonator mechanisch in Resonanz zu schwingen, in Zwangskontakt mit
einem Werkstück gebracht wird, um Ultraschallenergie auf dieses während eines ZeitIntervalls zu übertragen, wobei
die Verbesserung beinhaltet:
Variieren der durch das Horn auf das Werkstück übertragenen
Leistung auf ein Steuersignal hin, das während des Zeitintervalls erzeugt wird.
2. Ultraschallenergie-Bearbeitungsverfahren nach Anspruch 1, wobei die Leistung verändert wird, indem die Bewegungsamplitude des Resonanzhorns variiert wird.
3. Ultraschallenergie-Bearbeitungsverfahren, bei dem ein Horn, das in der Lage ist, als ein Halbwellenlängeresonator
mechanisch in Resonanz zu schwingen, mit einem Werkstück in Zwangskontakt gebracht wird, um Ultraschallenergie auf dieses
während eines ZeitIntervalls zu übertragen, wobei die
Verbesserung beinhaltet: Bewirken, daß das Horn mit einer ersten Bewegungsamplitude am Beginn des Zeitintervalls in
Resonanz schwingt, und Bewirken, daß das Horn auf ein Steuersignal hin, das während des ZeitintervalIs erzeugt wird,
mit einer zweiten Bewegungsamplitude in Resonanz schwingt.
4. Ultraschallenergie-Bearbeitungsverfahren nach Anspruch 3, wobei das Steuersignal auf der Ultraschalleistung beruht,
die von dem Horn auf das Werkstück übertragen wird.
5. Ultraschallenergie-Bearbeitungsverfahren nach Anspruch 3, wobei das Steuersignal auf einer sich ändernden mechanischen
Abmessung des Werkstückes beruht.
6. Ultraschallenergie-Bearbeitungsverfahren nach Anspruch 3, wobei das Steuersignal auf einem zeitabhängigen Signal
beruht, das während des ZeitintervalIs erzeugt wird.
7. Ultraschallenergie-Bearbeitungsverfahren nach Anspruch 3, wobei die zweite Bewegungsamplitude kleiner als die erste
Bewegungsamplitude ist.
8. Ultraschallenergie-Bearbeitungsverfahren nach Anspruch 3, wobei das Steuersignal auf einem Parameter des Prozesses
beruht.
9. Ultraschallenergie-Bearbeitungsverfahren, bei dem ein Horn, das in der Lage ist, als ein Halbwellenlängeresonator
mechanisch in Resonanz zu schwingen, in Zwangskontakt mit einem Werkstück gebracht wird, um, wenn das Horn in Resonanz
gebracht wird, Ultraschallenergie auf das Werkstück während eines ZeitintervalIs zu übertragen, wobei die Verbesserung
beinhaltet: Messen der von dem Horn auf das Werkstück übertragenen Leistung und, wenn die Leistung einen
vorbestimmten Wert erreicht, Erzeugen eines Steuersignals, wobei das Steuersignal das Horn veranlaßt, mit einer kleineren
Bewegungsamplitude in Resonanz zu schwingen, als die Amplitude, bei der das Horn vor der Erzeugung des Steuersignals
in Resonanz war, und Fortsetzen des Betriebes des Resonanzhorns mit der kleineren Bewegungsamplitude während
des übrigen Teils des ZeitintervalIs.
10. Ultraschallenergie-Bearbeitungsverfahren nach Anspruch 9, wobei das Werkstück thermoplastisches Material ist und
wobei die übertragene Ultraschalleistung ein Erweichen und Fließen des thermoplastischen Materials bewirkt.
11. Ultraschallvorrichtung mit einer Stromversorgung zur Zufuhr von elektrischer Energie in dem Ultraschallfrequenzbereich
zu einem elektroakustischen Wandler, der mit einem Horn versehen ist, dessen frontale Oberfläche so ausgebildet
ist, daß sie mit einem Werkstück gekoppelt werden kann,
um, wenn es in Zwangskontakt mit dem Werkstück und in Resonanz
gebracht wird, Leistung in Form von mechanischen Schwingungen in dem Ultraschallfrequenzbereich auf das
Werkstück zu übertragen, wobei die Verbesserung beinhaltet: eine gekoppelte Einrichtung zum Erfassen der auf das Werkstück
übertragenen Leistung und zum Versorgen der Stromversorgung mit einem Steuersignal, das auf der übertragenen
Leistung beruht, um die auf das Werkstück übertragene Leistung zu ändern.
12. Ultraschallvorrichtung nach Anspruch 11, wobei das Steuersignal eine Änderung der Bewegungsamplitude bewirkt,
die sich an der frontalen Oberfläche des Horns manifestiert.
13. Ultraschallvorrichtung nach Anspruch 12, wobei das Steuersignal darauf beruht, daß die auf das Werkstück übertragene
Leistung einen vorbestimmten Wert erreicht, und bewirkt, daß die Bewegungsamplitude auf einen kleineren Wert
geändert wird.
14. Ultraschallvorrichtung mit einer Stromversorgung zur Zufuhr von elektrischer Energie in dem Ultraschallfrequenzbereich
zu einem elektroakustischen Wandler, der mit einem Horn versehen ist, dessen frontale Oberfläche so ausgebildet
ist, daß sie mit einem Werkstück gekoppelt werden kann, um, wenn es in Zwangskontakt mit dem Werkstück ist und in
Resonanz gebracht wird, Leistung in Form von mechanischen Schwingungen in dem Ultraschallfrequenzbereich auf das
Werkstück zu übertragen, wobei die Verbesserung beinhaltet: eine Einrichtung, die so angeordnet ist, daß sie eine sich
ändernde Abmessung des Werkstückes erfaßt und aufgrund dessen ein Steuersignal an die Stromversorgung abgibt, um die
auf das Werkstück übertragene Leistung zu ändern.
15. Ultraschal!vorrichtung nach Anspruch 14, wobei das
Steuersignal eine Änderung der Bewegungsamplitude bewirkt,
die sich an der frontalen Oberfläche des Horns manifestiert.
16. Ultraschallvorrichtung nach Anspruch 14, wobei das
Steuersignal auf einer vorbestimmten Abmessungsänderung beruht und bewirkt, daß die Bewegungsamplitude auf einen
kleineren Wert geändert wird.
17. Ultraschallvorrichtung mit einer Stromversorgung zur Zufuhr von elektrischer Energie in dem Ultraschallfrequenzbereich
zu einem elektroakustischen Wandler, der mit einem Horn versehen ist, dessen frontale Oberfläche so ausgebildet
ist, daß sie mit einem Werkstück gekoppelt werden kann, um, wenn es in Zwangskontakt mit dem Werkstück ist und für
ein gewisses Zeitintervall in Resonanz gebracht wird, Leistung in Form von mechanischen Schwingungen in dem Ultraschallfrequenzbereich
auf das Werkstück zu übertragen, wobei die Verbesserung beinhaltet: eine zeitabhängige Einrichtung,
die so gekoppelt ist, daß sie während des Zeitintervalls ein Steuersignal an die Stromversorgung abgibt, um
die Leistung zu ändern, die zuvor während des Zeitintervalls auf das Werkstück übertragen worden ist.
18. Ultraschallvorrichtung nach Anspruch 17, wobei das Steuersignal eine Änderung der Bewegungsamplitude bewirkt,
die sich an der frontalen Oberfläche des Horns manifestiert.
19. Ultraschallvorrichtung nach Anspruch 17, wobei das Steuersignal bewirkt, daß die Bewegungsamplitude auf einen
kleineren Wert geändert wird.
20. Ultraschallvorrichtung mit einer Stromversorgung zur Zufuhr von elektrischer Energie in dem Ultraschallfrequenzbereich
zu einem elektroakustischen Wandler, der mit einem Horn versehen ist, dessen frontale Oberfläche so ausgebildet
ist, daß sie mit einem Werkstück gekoppelt werden kann, um, wenn es mit dem Werkstück in Zwangskontakt ist und in
Resonanz gebracht wird, Leistung in Form von mechanischen Schwingungen in dem Ultraschallfrequenzbereich auf das
Werkstück für ein Zeitintervall zu übertragen, wobei die Verbesserung beinhaltet: eine gekoppelte Einrichtung, die
auf einen sich ändernden Parameter hin, der aus dem übertragen von Leistung auf das Werkstück resultiert, ein Steuersignal während der Dauer des Zeitintervalls erzeugt, wobei
das Steuersignal eine Änderung der Bewegungsamplitude des Horns bewirkt und dadurch die Leistung ändert, die während
des übrigen Teils des Zeitintervalls auf das Werkstück übertragen wird.
