Bauart und Wirkungsweise der Maschine ist aus der Zeichnung und der folgenden Beschreibung ersichtlich. Unter der Auslauföffnung des kastenförmigen Vorratsbehälters ist ein Vorverteilerrad angeordnet, das aus zwei runden Stirnscheiben b besteht, die von einer Achse getragen werden, während am äußeren Rand der Scheiben sechs Querstäbe e sitzen. Die Querstäbe e sind so eingesetzt, daß die abgeschrägte Seite nach vorn und innen weist. Auf der rechten Achsenhälfte c sitzt das Antriebsrad. Über dem Behälter ist eine nach vorn bewegliche und nach oben gewölbte Klappe α, die mit ihrem unteren Ende in das Verteilerrad hineinragt, eingehängt. Unter dem Vorverteilerrad ist der Einzelverteiler /, der mit vier Schaufeln ausgerüstet ist, eingesetzt. Der Mantel i, in den Vorverteilerrad und Einzelverteiler eingebaut sind, ist mit seinem oberen Teil unter der Auslauföffnung am Behälter befestigt. Die Austrittsöffnung am unteren Teil ist so eng, daß eine Kartoffel noch bequem durchfallen kann.The design and mode of operation of the machine can be seen from the drawing and the following description. Beim Ende der Vierteldrehung streift das nach vorn und unten kommende Schaufelende über die Zuhaltung /, und der Einzelverteiler ist zur Aufnahme der zweiten Kartoffel bereitgestellt.
