Abstract

The two ends of the toothed belt are divided into fingers (2,2a) which are shaped to fit into each other to complete the joint without the belt profile. Mit 1 bzw. 1b sind die miteinander zu verbindenden Enden eines Zahnriemens bezeichnet. Diese sind u. a. gemäß Fig. 1b so gestaltet, daß sie sich in einem speziell vorgegebenen Radius abwälzen und dadurch Scharnierwirkung erhalten. In die Zahnprofile 6; 6′ der der Riemenzungen 2; 2b sind metallische Verstärkungsprofile 7 ein­ gelegt, die ihrerseits mit Bohrungen 9 für den Durchtritt der Verriegelungsstifte 4 ausgestattet sind. Die Verriegelungsstifte 4 werden in eingebautem Zustand durch Sicherungshülsen 5 gelagert. Die Verstärkungsprofile sind überdies durch Löten, Verpressen, Verschweißen, Verkleben oder dergleichen kraftschlüssig mit den die gesamte Riemenlänge durchziehenden, ebenfalls metallischen Ver­ stärkungskorden S verbunden.With 1 and 1 b, the ends of a toothed belt to be connected are designated. Claims (2)

1. Endlosverbindung für Zahnriemen mit längslaufenden, im Riemenquerschnitt eingebetteten Verstärkungskorden (8) mit ineinandergreifenden Zungen (2; 2b) und Ausschnitten (3; 3b) in den zu verbindenden Stirnenden des Riemens und mit mindestens einem quer zum Riemen durch die zu verbindenden Riemenenden (1; 1b) durch Stiftlöcher führbaren Verriegelungsstift (4), dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß in den Querschnitt der Zahnprofile (6; 6′) der Riemenzungen (2; 2b) metallische, den Durchtritt der Verriegelungsstifte (4) gestattende Verstärkungsprofile (7) eingelagert und die Verstärkungsprofile (7) kraftschlüssig mit den Verstärkungskorden (8) verbunden sind.1.
