Claims (2)

Abgasnachbehandlungseinrichtung zum katalytischen Reinigen der Abgase von Brennkraftmaschinen, bei der mit Abstand von­ einander liegende Monolithen über eine Quellmatte in einem als Außenschale dienenden Katalysatorgehäuse gelagert sind und zur Abstandsüberbrückung einen zur Abschirmung der Quellmatte die­ nenden temperaturfesten Zwischenring aufweisen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Quellmatte (5) aus mindestens zwei Lagen gleichen Ma­ terials besteht und daß zwischen der äußeren und inneren Lage (5a, 5b) der Zwischenring (8) mit beiden Lagen der Quellmatte eine Baueinheit bildend fixiert ist und daß die innere Lage (5b) eine zumindest annähernd dem Abstand zwischen beiden Mo­ nolithen (3, 4) entsprechende und bis zum Zwischenring (8) rei­ chende Durchbrechung (7) aufweist.1.
