Das Drehgestell enthält einen Hauptrahmen, welcher zwei Querträger α und zwei seitliche Längsträger b besitzt, die als Führung für die Achsbüchsen c der einzigen Radachse d dienen. An den Enden derselben ist der Hauptrahmen mittels Stangen f aufgehängt, und zwischen die Aufhängepunkte sind zylindrische Schraubenfedern g eingeschaltet. Gemäß der Erfindung besitzt das Drehgestell auch einen Nebenrahmen h, welcher in seiner Mitte um einen Zapfen k zum Gestell i des Wagenkastens drehbar ist. Der Nebenrahmen h ist am Hauptrahmen mittels vier Rückführstangen m aufgehängt. Diese können zwecks Erreichung einer größeren Stabilität an den oberen Enden herzförmig ausgebildet sein, wobei dann jede Stange an zwei Bolzen η aufgehängt ist, die in einer horizontalen Ebene liegen und nahe dem entsprechenden Ende der Querträger des Hauptrahmens α befestigt sind.
