Abstract

The switch has a rotary latch (1) supporting a contact piece (2) at one end and cooperating with a a switch release element (3) at the other side, with a manual resettign device (4) and an associated spring (5). The latch (1) is divided into two sections (14,15) adjacent the latch point (11), with the two sections overlapping at the coupling point. The shorter section (14) is supported in a curved guide (17) between the latch point (11) and its bearing point. The short section (14) of the latch (1) provides a force coupling between the coupling point of the two sections and the bearing point and the latch point. Pref. the coupling point of the two sections (14,15) coincides with the pivot axis (18) of the shoerter section (14).
