Abstract

1. Method of applying spray material (excluding mould release agents for the production of articles from polyurethane foam) by means of a spraying apparatus, whereby the spray material which is fed in the liquid state to the spraying apparatus is atomized and gas at higher temperature than the spray material is fed simultaneously and surrenders heat to the spray material leaving the spraying apparatus, characterized in that the spray material is atomized hydrostatically and that the gas at higher temperature is fed through gas exit orifices directed so that it strikes the spray material in the atomization region where the spray jet is still compact, or directly adjacent thereto.
