Antivibrational supporting system for railway rails in which the sole of each rail (1) rests at regular spaced apart locations on a cushion (2) of damping material, characterised in that each damping cushion (2) is placed within a housing formed in a concrete sole plate (3), the rail being also fastened to the sole plate, and in that the dynamic stiffness of the damping cushion (2) at each support is adapted such that the supports are alternately relatively rigid supports (A) and relatively resilient supports (B), the dynamic stiffness of a rigid support being greater than the stiffness of the rail and the dynamic stiffness of a resilient support is lower than the stiffness of the rail.
