Abstract

1. Equipment for cooling gas-permeable loose material, especially hot coke, consisting of a primary chamber and a cooling chamber located underneath the latter, characterized in that the primary chamber and the cooling chamber are constructed as two bunkers (10 and 1) which are mutually independent statically and which are connected to one another in a gas-tight manner by means of a compensator (15) and are supported by a common or separate frame structure (9).
