So wird in der DE 41 187 eine Vorrichtung beschrieben, mit der die jahreszeitliche Veränderung des natürlichen Lichtes nachgebildet wird. Die dort beschriebene Vorrichtung umfaßt eine Leuchtstoffröhre sowie um diese drehbar angeordnete Reflektorelemente, die geometrisch unterschiedlich ausgebildete verschiedenfarbige Seitenflächen aufweisen und mittels Schrittmotoren angetrieben werden. Durch eine zeitabhängige Einstellung der Reflektorelemente kann Licht unterschiedlicher Helligkeit und Lichtfarbe erzeugt werden.Devices for influencing the illuminance and color temperature of light generated by lamps have long been known in technology. Vor allem auf dem japanischen Markt wurden Vorrichtungen angeboten, die eine rote, eine grüne, eine weiße sowie eine blaue Leuchtstoffröhre umfassen, und bei denen mittels variablen Zumischens von rotem, grünem und blauem Licht zu dem weißen Licht unterschiedliche Farbtemperaturen realisiert wurden. Es zeigte sich, daß die Leuchtstoffröhren dieser Vorrichtungen zwingend in der Reihenfolge rot-blau-weiß-grün angeordnet werden müssen, da es sonst zu Entmischungs- und Vermischungseffekten kommt. Es wurde überraschend festgestellt, daß eine zufriedenstellende Simulation von Tageslicht auch dadurch erzielt werden kann, daß man weißem Licht nur blaues und grünes Licht zumischt, daß also auf das Zumischen von rotem Licht gemäß dem Stand der Technik verzichtet werden kann.
