An herkömmliche handelsübliche Computer kann über einen durchgeschleiften Stromanschluß, einem Kaltgerätestecker und Anschlußkabel der Monitor mit Strom bzw. Netzspannung versorgt werden, wobei durch den Stromschalter des Computers sowohl der Computer selbst als auch der Monitor eingeschaltet werden. Weitere Peripheriegeräte können jedoch nicht mit diesem Stromschalter des Computers mit Strom versorgt werden, sodaß es nötig ist, diese Peripheriegeräte an separate Steckdosen anzuschließen und separat ein- oder auszuschalten. Es sind wenigstens zwei, bevorzugt drei bis sechs solcher Schutzkontaktsteckdosen 5 vorgesehen. Die Schutzkontakt steckdosen sind bevorzugt parallel, im Winkel von 45°, wie dargestellt, oder im Winkel von 90° zur Längsachse 6 der Schutzkontaktverteilerleiste 1 positioniert. Als Stromanschlußkabel 2 dient bevorzugt ein Stromkabel mit drei Litzenleiter, die jeweils die entsprechenden Kontakte miteinander verbinden. In Fig.2 sind die Steckkontakte 4 des Kaltgerätesteckers 3 ersichtlich. Beim Einschalten des Computers mit dessen Stromschalter wird die Netzspannung an die Schutzkontaktverteilerleiste 1 gelegt, sodaß die daran angeschlossenen Peripheriegeräte mit Netzspannung versorgt werden. Damit werden alle an die Schutzkontaktverteilerleiste 1 angeschlossenen Peripheriegeräte durch einfaches Einschalten des Computers mittels dessen Netzschalter eingeschaltet, bzw. durch Ausschalten wieder ausgeschaltet.With the device according to the invention, the protective contact distribution strip 1 with the power connection cable 2 and the cold appliance plug 3 can be connected directly to the looped-through voltage connection of the computer.
