Die bodenlose Ummantelung des Pflanzgefäßsystems kann nach den jeweiligen Gestaltungsansprüchen aus Kunst- bzw. Naturstein, Kunststoff, Holz oder Metall gefertigt werden. Die Wandstärke beträgt je nach Material bis ca. 10 cm. Bodenunebenheiten werden über vier an den Ecken befindliche Justierschrauben ausgeglichen.The bottomless casing of the planter system can be made from artificial or natural stone, plastic, wood or metal, depending on the design requirements. Die Überlaufschlitze verhindern einen unkontrollierbaren Wasseranstieg, z.B. durch Niederschlagswasser verursacht. Der Wasserstand wird über einen in der Wasserstandsanzeigerkammer befindlichen Schwimmer abgelesen. Erreicht dieser die Marke 0, wird das Wasserreservoir erneut über die Anzeigerkammer bzw. über das Substrat gefüllt. Zum maschinellen Auswechseln der Wanne ist das Wasserreservoir an seiner Oberkante an jeder der 4 Ecken mit je einer Öse versehen.The plastic water reservoir, made to match the inner dimensions of the casing (minus approx. 2 cm), is provided with closable overflow slots at a height of 20 cm or 40 cm. Schlaufen versehen, um ein maschinelles Auswechseln desselben incl. Bepflanzung zu erleichtern.
