Description
BeschreibungDescription
The invention relates to an insulating core for a thermally insulated composite profile, in particular for windows, doors, facade constructions or the like, with at least two insulating webs made of thermally insulating material, which connect two metal profiles of the composite profile to one another and keep them at a distance from one another to form a chamber, with cross webs projecting into the interior of the chamber and overlapping one another being provided on the insulating webs. The invention also relates to a composite profile with such an insulating core.
These crossbars, which interlock like a comb, are intended to reduce convection and heat radiation in the inner chamber. The arrangement of crossbars on the chamber-side boundary wall of the insulating bars is also known from DE 32 343 C2 and DE 49 11 396 U1, whereby the crossbars according to the latter publication are additionally provided with an infrared-reflecting coating or a corresponding covering to prevent heat radiation.
Another disadvantage is that different insulating cores must be used for different widths of the metal profiles and the composite profile, which requires considerable production effort and corresponding storage for the processors. Finally, insulating cores with a multi-chamber system between the outer and inner
Metal profile is known, but here too insulating cores adapted to the respective profile widths must be used.
Based on this, the invention is based on the object of specifying an insulating core of the type mentioned at the beginning, which can be used variably for different widths of the metal profiles while reducing the heat transfer in the area of the insulating webs.
To achieve the object, the invention essentially provides that the crossbars are in the contact position at least in some areas in the assembly position, forming at least two partial chambers closed off from one another.
The insulating core according to the invention can be used for different widths of the metal profiles of the composite profile, whereby the crossbars overlap with different lengths. Since the crossbars of the two insulating bars, which are assigned to one another, come into contact with one another, closed partial chambers are formed within the insulating core. This multi-chamber system achieves a significant reduction in heat transfer in the area of the insulating bars. The arrangement of one crossbar on the inner boundary wall of each insulating bar results in two partial chambers, and the arrangement of two crossbars results in three partial chambers.
In order to seal the partial chambers against each other in a gas-tight manner, according to a first special embodiment of the invention, the crossbars are pressed against each other in the assembly position.
Insoweit kann es sich nach der Erfindung empfehlen, daß die Querstege in ihrer Ausgangsstellung unter Vorspannung in Richtung des in Montagestellung zugeordneten Quersteges desIn this respect, it may be recommended according to the invention that the crossbars in their initial position are pre-tensioned in the direction of the crossbar of the
jeweils gegenüberliegenden Isoliersteges stehen, um den gewünschten Anpreßdruck der zugeordneten Querstege gegeneinander zu erreichen.opposite insulating bars in order to achieve the desired contact pressure of the associated cross bars against each other.
From a manufacturing and storage point of view, it is particularly advantageous if the two insulating webs are essentially identical, at least with regard to the arrangement of the cross webs on the boundary wall on the inside of the chamber.
According to the invention, it is recommended to manufacture the insulating bars from plastic, e.g. polyamide or polyethylene terephthalate, with or without additional glass fiber for reinforcement.
The crossbars can also be made of plastic, in particular polyamide or polyethylene terephthalate, and preferably be molded onto the insulating bars.
Alternatively, according to the invention, it is also possible to produce the crossbars from metal, preferably light metal, such as aluminum or an aluminum alloy.
According to a further proposal of the invention, the crossbars can also be made from a hollow profile made of metal, in particular light metal, wherein the hollow profile, seen in a longitudinal section, has a wave-shaped spacer element arranged between two outer plate elements.
The metallic crossbars can be injection-molded into the plastic insulating bars or coextruded.
Auch liegt es im Rahmen der Erfindung, daß die Querstege eine Infrarot-reflektierende Beschichtung oder einen entsprechendenIt is also within the scope of the invention that the crossbars have an infrared-reflecting coating or a corresponding
Belag aufweisen, so daß der Wärmeübergang in diesem Bereich nochmals verringert ist.coating, so that the heat transfer in this area is further reduced.
In an insulating core in which the ends of the insulating bars are held in receiving grooves in the metal profiles, the invention provides that the insulating bars are angled outwards in the connection area to their insertion ends in the assembly position. This bridge shape of the insulating bars significantly improves their stability and the hold in the receiving grooves.
It is particularly advantageous if, according to one embodiment of the invention, the insulating bars in the area between the bends have a reduced wall thickness. This further reduces the heat transfer between the insulating bars.
In order to be able to use the same insulating cores or insulating bars with cross bars even with extra-wide metal profiles, where the cross bars may no longer overlap, the invention provides for an adapter to be inserted between the cross bars of the opposing insulating bars. The adapter or adapters can be held at the ends of the cross bars, for example, by means of a snap-in connection.
It is also within the scope of the invention that at least one crossbar, a rib, a wall extension or similar projection is formed on the chamber-outside boundary wall of an insulating web, against which a seal arranged on the composite profile comes to rest to form a chamber. This further improves the thermal insulation of the composite profile.
Weiterhin kann es sich, insbesondere bei großen Profilquerschnitten, nach der Erfindung empfehlen, daß an denFurthermore, it may be advisable, especially for large profile cross-sections, according to the invention, that
Crossbars are formed in wall sections running approximately in the longitudinal direction of the insulating bars in order to further improve the thermal insulation by reducing the convection flow in the sub-chamber(s).
Further aims, advantages, features and possible applications of the present invention emerge from the following description of embodiments based on the drawings. All described and/or illustrated features form the subject matter of the present invention on their own or in any meaningful combination, also independently of their summary in the claims or their reference back.

Figure 2 shows a possible embodiment of an insulating web with cross web according to the invention.
Hierdurch werden dreiThe window frame according to Figure 1 has a sash frame 23 with pane 25 and a frame 24 fixed in the building reveal. Both the sash frame 23 and the frame 24 consist of a composite profile 2, each with an outer metal profile 5 and an inner metal profile 6. The outer and inner metal profiles 5, 6 are connected to one another by means of insulating webs 3, 4 made of plastic and are kept at a distance from one another to form chambers 9, 10, 11. Cross webs 7, 8 are arranged on the inner boundary walls of the insulating webs 3, 4, which overlap one another in the assembled position and are pressed against one another by a pre-stress. This creates three
abgeschlossene Teilkammern 9, 10, 11 gebildet, wodurch der Wärmeübergang im Bereich der Isolierstege 3, 4 erheblich reduziert ist.closed partial chambers 9, 10, 11 are formed, whereby the heat transfer in the area of the insulating bars 3, 4 is significantly reduced.
The design of the crossbars 7, 8 also has the advantage that for different widths of the metal profiles 5, 6, the same web elements can be used, which are then in the contact position with different length sections of the associated crossbars 7, 8 depending on the profile width. This has a positive effect on the production and storage of the web elements. For extra-wide metal profiles 5, 6, it is possible to insert an adapter (not shown) between the crossbars 7, 8 of the opposing insulating webs 4, 5.
The insulating webs 3, 4 are held in receiving grooves 16 of the metal profiles 5, 6. As can be seen from Figure 1, the insulating webs 3, 4 are angled outwards in the connection area to their insertion ends 15. In the wall section 18 extending between the angles 17, the insulating webs 3, 4 are reduced in their wall thickness. The angles 17 of the insulating webs in the area of their insertion ends 15 significantly improve the stability of the insulating webs and the static protection of the composite profile 1 against the two metal profiles 5, 6 tipping over. The reduction in the wall thickness in the area between the angles 17 further reduces the heat transfer in the area of the insulating core 1.
According to Figure 2, however, it is also possible for the crossbars to be made of a hollow profile made of metal, in particular aluminum or an aluminum alloy, with, viewed in longitudinal section, between two outer plate elements 12, 13
These crossbars 7, 8 made of metal can, for example, be attached to the insulating bars 3, 4 made of plastic by coextrusion.
As can be seen from Figure 2, particularly in the case of wide composite profiles, a wall section 31 running in the longitudinal direction of the respective insulating web 3 or 4, for example protruding into the partial chamber 10 according to Figure 1, can be provided on at least one transverse web 7 or 8 in order to achieve an improvement in thermal insulation by reducing convection and thermal radiation.
A further reduction in heat transfer in the area of the insulating core 1 is achieved by the known measure of providing the crossbars 7, 8 with an infrared-reflecting coating or a corresponding covering.
In the embodiment according to Figure 1, outward-facing webs 19 are formed on the insulating web 3 closest to the frame 24, against which a central web seal 20 of the frame 24 rests with its sealing lip 27 in the closed position of the window. This creates additional chambers 21, 22, which also reduces heat transfer between the cold and warm zones of the composite profile 2 or the entire frame construction. The sealing lug 30 of the glass-inside seal 28 held in the glazing bead 29 acts in the same way, which clings to the outer boundary wall of one insulating web 4 and provides thermal insulation by forming partial chambers between the metal profiles 5, 6 and the glazing bead 30. In addition, external seals 26 can be attached to the outer metal profiles 5 of the sash frame 23 and frame 24.
