Läßt sich die Breitenballigkeit z.B. bei spritzgegossenen Kegelrädern noch durch entsprechendes Ausarbeiten der Form erzielen, so ist dies bei spritzgegossenen Stirnrädern nicht möglich, da das Stirnrad nicht mehr aus dem Werkzeug entformt werden könnte.It is known to design the teeth of gears with broad crowns, i.e. the teeth are made thinner on the end faces than in the center of the teeth. Dieses Schrumpfen des thermoplastischen Kunststoffes kann bis zu einigen Prozenten seines ursprünglichen Volumens betragen. Durcfi den erfindungsgemäß eingespritzten Metallring wird nun das Schrumpfen des Kunststoffes so gesteuert, daß die Stirnseiten der Zähne mehr zur Nabe hin schrumpfen, während die Zahnmitte sich beim Schrumpfvorgang am*Metallring staut.
