In packaging technology, the trend is towards increasing numbers of primary packs (e.g. bottles, Cans or the like) in basket-like carrier containers to wrap; this has led to the development of basket-like carrier containers, the eight, ten and twelve primary packs can accommodate in two rows, with one row on each side of the handle. In practice, however, there is a limit to how long the basket-like carriers can be made.

The object of the invention is therefore to provide a basket-like carrier in which two rows of each an article receiving cells are provided on each side of a centrally located handle and parallel thereto are.
