Abstract
Description
. . . . (Patentanmeldung P 21 49 529.4). Filler The invention relates to a filler for rubble metallic device or machine parts of the ceramic industry or construction technology against premature wear, in addition to electrical corundum, silicon carbide and glass quartz contains a binder, according to patent. . . . . (Patent application P 21 49 529.4).
The leveling compound is applied at the place where it is used, e.g. on the construction site mixed with a hardener and applied to the surfaces to be protected from wear a spatula applied between 2 and 10 mm as required. After a curing time from about 6 hours the filler is so hard and wear-resistant that the parts to be protected achieve four to five times the service life. These values were through practical experiments on mixing blades of concrete machines and smooth slides determined at gravel works.
You get a particularly good spatula if you use a plastic based on polyurate, e.g. polyglycol ether isocyanate, because it is very resistant and is acid-resistant, e.g. to moor acid.
It is also useful to thicken and thixotrope the filler Add fumed silica as an example of the composition of the spatula 20% electro corundum with a sieving according to Fepa 70, 24% electro corundum with a Sieving according to Fepa 24, 28% silicon carbide with a sieving according to Fepa 24, 20th 0 silicon carbide with sieving according to Fepa 70, 7% plastic based on polyether isocyanate, 1% fumed silica.
Electro-corundum and silicon carbide are used to manufacture this filler intimately mixed by means of a kneader, sand mill, single or three-bar roller. This The process takes about 5 to 7 minutes. After this time, the plastic is added and mixed again for about 2 to 3 minutes. Then the fumed silica incorporated into the mixture. The resulting thixotropy causes that the putty can also be applied to areas of 50 - 750 without it sags under its own weight. The hardening time of the filler is 100 C for 20 hours and at 230 C for 5 hours. The surfaces covered with the spatula are extremely wear-resistant.
Since the plastic used is moisture-drying Polyurethane, the curing time can be reduced by spraying with hot steam (not over 1500) can be reduced to 20 to 30 minutes.
By connecting elevated N-C-O groups as well as OH groups it is possible to mix the hardener with the filler before delivery, because the excess N-C-O groups find no reaction partner in the filler and look for their OH partner in the humidity or also in humid underground. Of course, it cannot be visibly wet because otherwise the spatula reacts suddenly without a satisfactory one Establish a connection with the subsurface.
Der vorgeschlagene Spachtel ergibt keine hart-spröden, sondern zäh-harte, elastische Schichten. The proposed spatula does not produce hard-brittle, but tough-hard, elastic layers.
