Abstract

Description

The invention relates to a module box for accommodating four beverage bottle containers, each beverage bottle container comprising six beverage bottles with a nominal content of 0.33 l, two opposing long side walls and two opposing short side walls forming a circumferential frame that forms a bottom for supporting beverage bottles.

Beverage bottle containers are known in which six beverage bottles are accommodated in a wrapper made from a cardboard box. Such beverage bottle containers are referred to as a six-pack.

A module box for holding beverage bottle containers is from the design DE 40 2008 001148-0001 known. Another such module box is in the document DE 20 2018 104 071 U1 described.

In these conventional module boxes, the bottles are located comparatively deep in the module box, i. H. There is a considerable vertical distance between the top of the bottles and the top of the module box. However, this results in problems when loading the module bottle with the beverage bottle containers, since the systems used for this are set up for loading boxes in which the top edge of the bottles is close to the top edge of the boxes. Appropriate retrofitting of the system is therefore required to fill module crates with beverage bottle containers, which is, however, regarded as disadvantageous.

The invention is therefore based on the object of specifying a module box which can easily be filled by a conventional system without it having to be modified.

To achieve this object, according to the invention, in a module box of the type mentioned at the outset, the floor is arranged higher than the underside of the peripheral frame, the vertical distance between the underside and the floor being 40 mm to 60 mm.

The invention is based on the knowledge that the equipping of a module box with beverage bottle containers can be substantially simplified if the bottom is in a higher position than the usual lower position. As a result, the upper end of a bottle as part of a beverage bottle container is in an elevated position, slightly below the upper edge of the frame of the module box. As a result, the module box can be easily loaded with the beverage bottle containers in a conventional filling or loading system.

The module box according to the invention is suitable, for example, for beverage bottles according to the Community design EM 002205666-0001 with a nominal content of 0.33 I. Such beverage bottles can, for. B. have a height of 188 mm to 205 mm.

In the context of the invention, it is preferred that the vertical distance between the underside of the peripheral frame and the bottom, which serves to support the beverage bottles, is 50 mm to 54 mm. This area has proven to be particularly favorable and enables the module box to be easily fitted.

The module box according to the invention is characterized in that side surfaces and the underside of the frame and the underside of the floor delimit a coherent free space. In contrast, in conventional module boxes there is no free space or only a minimal free space, which is usually divided by several profile sections on which the conventional module box is supported. In a conventional module box, the beverage bottles are arranged above the profile sections forming the base, and are therefore in a low position.

In the module box according to the invention, it is preferred that a longitudinal partition wall is formed parallel to the opposite long side walls. The compartment longitudinal wall divides the interior of the module box into two compartments and facilitates the positioning of the beverage bottle containers, so that two beverage bottle containers can be inserted into one compartment.

The bottom of the module box according to the invention can be designed as a grid structure with rings, the rings being connected to one another by longitudinal and transverse webs. The module box according to the invention is characterized by a particularly low weight and a low material requirement.

The lattice structure forming the base preferably has undulating webs running parallel to the long side walls. The undulating webs are preferably arranged in the same plane as the rings, so that the beverage bottles are supported both on the rings and on the undulating webs.

It is also within the scope of the invention that two rows of quills extending from the bottom are formed within the frame of the module box. Each of the two rows preferably has five quills arranged next to one another. The sleeves are arranged in such a way that they reach through the openings when a beverage bottle container is inserted. When beverage bottles are inserted into the module box, they are positioned by the sleeves.

A circumferential surface of a sleeve of the module box according to the invention is preferably formed from four concave surfaces, which is thus adapted to the outer contour of the beverage bottles.
