- – Diese Steuerungsart ist sehr energieintensiv und für batteriebetriebene Artikel ungeeignet

Die Bluetooth® Low Energy, ANT+ und Zigbee verbrauchen nur einen Bruchteil der Energie, die für herkömmliche Bluetooth-Technologie aufgewendet werden muss. Zurzeit können bis zu 7 gleichzeitige Verbindungen aufgebaut werden, d. h. bis zu 7 LED-Kerzen können gleichzeitig gesteuert werden. Mit der vorgeschlagenen Technologie fällt diese Grenze praktisch weg.
- – Mittels der vorgeschlagenen Technologie können beliebige Lichteffekte wie Auf- und Abdimmen, Flackern, Farbwechseln und andere gesteuert werden. Die Steuerung erfolgt über eine für Android-, iOS-, oder Windows basierte Applikation (App), die über Google Play, App oder Windows Store heruntergeladen werden kann.
