Abstract
The system (10) comprises a xenon-lamp (12,14) with several filters, a camera (16,18), and an image projecting device (20,22), all connected to a control unit (24) with an image processing system (26). The malignant tissue (30) treated with a tumor marker before is fluorescent under a light of a particular wave length. The information obtained from the affected area (32) is transmitted to the image processing unit (26) and converted into an image (34) to be projected onto the malignant tissue (30). Reference markers (36) provide additional information.
