Erfindungsgemäß wird das Problem dadurch gelöst, daß der bisher einstöckige MetaUkern in zwei separate Schalen geteilt wird, welche zur Erlangung einer hohen Steifigkeit möglichst weit voneinander entfernt, d.h. nahe an den äußeren und inneren Profilrand verlegt werden (s. beil. Bild Nr. 3). Hierdurch wird neben den PUR-Randschichten außen und innen auch der zwischen den Schalen liegende Schaumstoffbereich zur Wärmedämmung einbezogen und ein wesentlich günstiger Teniperaturverlauf über dem Querschnitt" erreicht (s. Bild Nr. 4). Ein Fensterprofil bestehend aus Flügel- und Rahmenprofil mit diesem. Aufbau ergibt nun einen K-Wert von ca. 12 W/qmK. Andernfalls wird die Mon-';. tage.der Eckwinkel schwierig und ggf. entsteht ein Gehrungsversatz an den Ecken. Die richtige " Position der Schalen wird gewährleistet durch die Verwendung von Abstandshaltern, welche die beiden Schalen punktweise über eine Schnappverbindung an den Stegen verbinden.
