Unter der Voraussetzung, daß die Dienstleitung α frei und das Relais r^a des Platzes II nicht erregt ist, hat der erwähnte Vorgang zur Folge, daß aus der Batterie B einerseits über einen Widerstand w, das Relais r^a des Platzes I, den Ruhekontakt und ersten Anker des Relais r^l am Platze IT, die sechste und siebente Feder des umgelegten Schlüssels, andererseits über das Relais r^a des Platzes III, den Ruhekontakt und vierten Anker des Relais r^a am Platze II, die fünfte, sechste und siebente Feder des umgelegten Schlüssels und Erde Strom zum Fließen kommt. Die Relais r^a der Plätze I und III werden infolgedessen erregt und legen ihre Anker -an die Arbeitskontakte. Hierdurch werden die Kontaktfedern der betreffenden Schlüssel von der Dienstleitung α und der Ringleitung c abgetrennt und an die Anker der betreffenden zur Dienstleitung b gehörenden Relais r^b geschaltet. Das Relais r^a des Platzes II dagegen bleibt unerregt, da es durch die fünfte, sechste und siebente Kontaktfeder seines Schlüssels über den ersten und vierten Anker beiderseits an Erde gelegt ist und keinen Strom erhält. Infolgedessen findet der Sprechapparat des Platzes II über die erste und vierte Feder des Schlüssels und den zweiten und dritten Anker des Relais Anschluß an die Dienstleitung a. Die Dienstleitung α kann während der Verbindung des Platzes I mit der Leitung b seitens anderer Plätze unbehindert wieder benutzt werden, da, wie beschrieben, die Relais r^a beim Zurückstellen des Schlüssels am Platze II mit Ausnahme des im Platze I befindlichen Relais ihre Erregung verloren haben.
