Die Herstellung der Anlaufkante ist kostenaufwendig und ist nicht für alle Anwendungsfälle und insbesondere nicht zur Behebung von Druckschwierigkeiten vor Ort geeignet. Dabei wird unter dem Begriff Zylinder sowohl Zylinder im klassischen Sinne, wie z. B. Offset­ zylinder, aber auch gummituchbezogene Walzen, wie z. B. In Fig. 1 ist eine Teilansicht eines Zylinders in perspektivischer Ansicht dargestellt. Dabei werden unter dem Begriff Zylinder neben Zylindern, wie gummituchbespannte Offsetzylinder auch gummituchbespannte Walzen verstanden. Der Zylinder 1 weist einen Zylinderkanal 2 auf und ist mit mindestens einer Druckfläche 3 ausgestattet. Der Übergang vom Zylinderkanal 2 zu der Druckfläche 3 ist kurvenförmig, eine Anlaufkante 4 bildend, ausgebildet. Der Zylinder 1 ist mit einem Gummituch 5 bespannt, wobei die Gummituchspannung nur schematisch dargestellt und mit dem Bezugszeichen 11 versehen ist (Fig. 2). Zwischen der Druckfläche 3 des Zylinders 1 und dem Gummituch 5 ist eine Folie 6 angeordnet. Die Folie ist kalibriert und in unterschiedlichen Dicken verwendbar.
