The casting compsns. comprises 23-59% polyurethane (esp. from polytetramethyleneglycol and TDI), 25-55% epoxy resin (esp. from bisphenol A and epichlorohydrin) and 16-22% cross-linking agent (esp. 4,4'-methylene-bis-(2-chloroaniline)); esp. 23% polyurethane and 55% epoxy resin or 59% polyurethane and 25% epoxy resin or linear interpolated intermediate valves thereof. Jn dieser Form muß nicht notwendigerweise ein Bauelement der Wasserschalltechnik eingegossen=werden, sondern die Form kann auch dazu dienen, beispielsweise ein akustisches Fenster herzustellen, das wasserschalldurchlässig ist und bereits als solches Bauelement der Wasserschalltechnik ist. Die gießfertige Mischung aus Polyurethan, Epoxydharz und Vernetzer ist niederviskos und läßt sich gut verarbeiten. Die Topfzeit der Mischung mit dem höchsten Polyurethangehalt beträgt bei 100 C etwa eine halbe Stünde. Sie nimmt mit steigendem Epoxydharzanteil zu. Die vergossene Mischung wird bei etwa 140° C mindestens fünf Stunden lang ausgehärtet. Die Aushärtezeit steigt mit zunehmendem Epoxydharzanteil.
