Dieser Schieber kann von außen in einer radial bzw. diametral verlaufenden Führung verschoben werden, während der Deckel jeweils über eine im Unterteil befindliche Tablette "gedreht wird. Die Tabletten stehen in diesem Ringraum hochkant, liegen also mit ihren Mittelebenen in Radialebenen des Tablettenbehälters. Durch diese Anordnung ist zwar die Aufnahme einer größeren Anzahl von Tabletten möglich, als der bei ähnlichen Tablettenbehältern üblichen Anordnung, bei der die Mittelebenen der Tabletten parallel zum Boden bzw. Deckel des Tablettenbehälters liegen. Da aber die Dosierung der meisten in Tablettenform gelieferten Medikamente so erfolgt, daß eine Tagesdosis sechs Tabletten oder we-. niger umfaßt, während eine höhere Tagesdosis recht selten ist, ist das Fassungsvermögen des bekannten Tablettenbehälters für die meistert Fälle der Praxis zu groß. Dieses an sich nicht benötigte Fassungsvermögen wird durch die Hochkantlage der Tabletten erreicht.
