Description
KAISERLICHESIMPERIAL

Die Erfindung dient dem Zweck, die mit Fufshaken versehenen Fufstritte von Fahrrad-Tretkurbeln, welche infolge des senkrechten Herunterhängens der Haken beim Führen des Rades ungünstig für die Aufnahme des Fufses stehen, durch eine einfache Vorrichtung mit dem Tretkurbelzapfen in der Weise zu kuppeln, dafs diese Kupplung beim Führen des Rades in Eingriff ist und durch Aufsetzen des Fufses auf den Fufstritt aufgehoben wird. Zu diesem Zweck kann z. B. ein Stift an einem am Fufstritt federnd ' angebrachten Arme in zwei sich entsprechende Löcher der Fufstrittachse und des Kurbelzapfens greifen, sobald sich diese gegenüberstehen. Da nun der Fufshaken infolge seines Uebergewichtes den Fufstritt in senkrechte Stellung bringt, so wird beim Drehen des Kurbelzapfens ' das in diesem angeordnete, dem Loch e entsprechende Loch in Einriff mit dem federnd einschnappenden Stift d kommen. Da nun der Fufstritt a an der Drehung der Kurbel theilnimmt und in einem bestimmten Winkel zur Kurbel steht, so ist klar, dafs ihm leicht die für die Aufnahme des Fufses günstigste Stellung gegeben werden kann. Der aufgesetzte Fufs drückt den Arm α herunter und dadurch den Stift d aus dem Zapfen /. In Fig. 2 ist ein zum Arme aufgebogener, von der Federf hochgehaltener und in den Löchern b des Pedals geführter Winkelhebel g angeordnet, der am Arme c den Haken e trägt. In diesen greift ein federnder Arm d an dem Kurbelzapfen. Das Aufsetzen des Fufses drückt den Haken des Winkelhebels zur Seite, wie punktirt, so dafs sich der Fufstritt frei drehen kann.The V-shaped lever α , which is steered to the footstep with the pin b , carries on its lower arm c the pin d, which engages in a hole e in the footstep tube.
