Abstract
Device (10) for determining the efficiency of a torque transmitting sample (12) comprises a drive arrangement (14) for applying a drive torque to the sample and a braking arrangement (20) for applying a braking torque to it. The device also comprises a drive mounting (26), a brake mounting (44) and a coupling arrangement (60) for coupling the movements of the drive and braking arrangements. A measurement arrangement with a measurement sensor is provided for measuring the coupled movement of the drive and braking arrangements. An independent claim is made for a method for determining the efficiency of a torque transferring sample.
