Das erfindungsgemäße Ventil mit den Merkmalen des Anspruchs 1 hat den Vorteil, dass mit der auf den gehäusefreien Rohrabschnitt des Ventilrohrs aufgeschobenen Hülse in Verbindung mit ihrer endseitigen, fluiddichten Verbindung mit dem Ventilrohr sowie ihrer fluiddichten Verbindungsstelle zum Ventilgehäuse eine auch bei ungünstigen Randbedingungen, z.B. hohen Temperaturen, langfristig zuverlässige Abdichtung des Innenraums des Ventilgehäuses, insbesondere gegenüber dem Eindringen von zugemessenem Fluid, in einer die Fertigungskosten senkenden Weise erzielt wird. Gegenüber dem bekannten Ventil entfällt sowohl der zusätzliche Dichtungsring zwischen Ventilrohr und Hülse als auch die im Spulenraum gegenüber dem Ventilrohr abdichtende Dichtungsmanschette. Mit dem Entfall dieser Dichtungselemente, die üblicherweise aus hochwertigem Elastomer gefertigt sind, reduzieren sich die Fertigungskosten deutlich. Die Hülse lässt sich als einfaches Tiefziehrohr ohne zusätzliche Verformungsmaßnahmen kostengünstig fertigen. Zudem schützt die bis zum Ende des Ventilrohrs reichende Hülse das mit Ventilsitz und Fluidzumessöffnung versehene Ende des Ventilrohrs vor Beschädigung beim Montieren und Demontieren des Ventils. Als Nebeneffekt zur Gehäuseabdichtung wird wie bei dem bekannten Ventil eine Verstärkung des ggf. dünnwandig ausgeführten Ventilrohrs erzielt, die beim Gefrieren des im Ventilrohr vorhandenen Fluids das Ventilrohr vor dem Zerbersten schützt. Gemäß einer vorteilhaften Ausführungsform der Erfindung ist die fluiddichte Verbindungsstelle der Hülse zum Ventilgehäuse von einem Kunststoffflansch umschlossen. Der Kunststoffflansch ersetzt damit den bei dem bekannten Ventil an der Hülse zusätzlich angeformten Kragen, so dass gesonderte Bearbeitungsmaßnahmen an der Hülse entfallen. Zudem überdeckt der Kunststoffflansch den z. B. als Schweißnaht ausgeführten Stoffschluss an der Verbindungsstelle von Hülse und Ventilgehäuse, so dass das Ventil ein optisch ansprechendes Design erhält.
