Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Brennkraftmaschine mit mehreren Zylindern, mit einem Ansaugleitungssystem, mit einem Abgasleitungssystem und mit einer Abgasrückführung (3). Zur Abgasrückführung dienen Spenderzylinder (2), deren Abgas wahlweise der Abgasrückführung (3) oder einer Abgassammelleitung (10) zugeführt werden kann, in der auch das Abgas weiterer Zylinder (1) aufgenommen wird. Um die Aufladung bei einem derartigen System zu optimieren, sind wenigstens zwei unterschiedliche, für das Abgasangebot zweier unterschiedlicher Lastzustände im Teillastbereich mit unterschiedlicher an der Abgasrückführung beteiligter Anzahl Spenderzylinder (2) ausgelegte Turbinenflächen vorgesehen, die abhängig von der Zuschaltung der Spenderzylinder zur Abgasrückführung zu- und abschaltbar sind.
