Man findet deshalb derartige Dampferzeuger nur bei den Modellen mit größerer Spurweite; für die bewährten und vorwiegend im Gebrauch befindlichen Lokmodelle mit kleinen und kleinsten Spurweiten sind die bekannten Dampferzeuger daher schon aus baulichen Gründen nicht geeignet.
