The technical solution includes removable and, as needed, different closable pockets for attachment to a tactical vest.

Current state of the art

There are several variants of vests, or tools for attaching equipment and other equipment to the human body. As a full-fledged tactical-military solution, there is a tactical vest, a ballistic vest or a so-called plate carrier.

Tactical vests are used to carry other tactical equipment such as pouches and holsters. Ballistic (bulletproof) vests are used to protect their wearer against a bullet hitting the chest or back area. So that it is not necessary to wear two types of vests, one protective and the other practical for attaching accessories and tools, there is a combination of both types of vests, which is designated as a plate carrier. It is a vest with embedded ballistic protection, which has the functionality of a tactical vest on the outside.

Even the tactical vest itself, however, is unnecessarily bulky for the conditions and needs, and it is advisable to have light equipment. Until now, tactical vests did not have closable pockets on the front. This did not fully utilize the space for emergency supplies, which unnecessarily limited the space of pockets on tactical vests for storing other necessary equipment.

Building technical solutions also have poor combinability with other tools. One such tool is the chest rig, which is used to attach to a tactical vest. A chest rig is a small vest, a modular platform for storing the most important equipment and armor on the user's chest. It is a chest strap with firmly filled pockets of different sizes for a specific type of weapon. Due to its compactness and low profile, it is very popular with reconnaissance units, where it is not required to wear ballistic protection, but it can also be used as a complement to bulletproof vests. The advantage is high modularity and good distribution of the weight of the equipment and weapons carried. The chest rig has its own shoulder straps, thanks to which, when placed on the tactical vest, the strength of the material increases and the wearer's movement is greatly restricted. This type of tactical gear uses a standard molle strap fastening at the sides with a plastic buckle. It is a modular platform for storing the most important equipment and armor on the user's chest. Its design is very similar to a plate carrier, a ballistic panel can also be placed here, but only in the front part, and only for those chest rigs that allow for this due to their design. The chest rig can also be worn separately for quick operational needs. In each case, however, it is necessary to own both a tactical vest and a chest rig, and alternately place them on the wearer's body as needed, or combine them by wearing them over each other.

Current pay carriers and tactical vests use an external attachment system on their surface using so-called molle straps - nylon straps with a width of 2.5 cm, where one part of the straps is firmly attached to the vest and the other part is always on the pockets / bags that are attached on a stretcher. The pocket is attached by threading a row of strap loops and secured by threading it into the bottom row attached to the carrier, and the whole thing forms the so-called "molle system". This type of attachment allows the user modularity, as it is not dependent on the vest's manufacturer's predetermination and can assemble the pockets and pouches as desired.

MOLLE is an abbreviation for Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment. This comprehensive gear system utilizes PALS bindings. The MOLLE mark as an original applies only to the binding developed and manufactured for the armed forces of the US Army,

The MOLLE system was introduced in 1997, expanded massively after September 11, 2001 and the subsequent deployment of the US Army in Afghanistan, and became the standard for modular tactical equipment, such as tactical vests and ballistic plate carriers or backpacks, tactical belts, various carrying panels and many other entertainments. It replaced the original ALICE system used in the first modular vests, where the ALICE system is still used by some police forces.

The aim of the inventor was to come up with a technical solution that would eliminate the shortcomings of the mutual combination of the tactical vest and the chest rig placed on it, so that it would not be necessary to have two types of vests and that the mobility of the wearer of the vest would not be limited when using the additional chest strap, as there would be no unnecessary increase in weight worn material. The aim of the technical solution is to enable the front main chest rig pocket to be combinable with any type of plate carrier, where the insertion of individual pockets (bags) can be carried out as desired, in two rows, using the entire length of the sides and with the help of a quick-release pouch mechanism.

The essence of the technical solution

The aforementioned shortcomings are eliminated by a removable pocket for a tactical vest, according to this technical solution, the essence of which lies in the fact that the inside of the pocket, accessible from the upper edge of the front and rear parts of the pocket, is equipped with a Velcro fastener on both of its inner sides (back side claws, front side hairs). , when the front part of the pocket on its upper edge is provided with a flap for fixing the side straps on the front side of the front part, when the flap is provided on both sides with a Velcro fastener (outer side of the hair, inner side of the claw), whereby the entire front side of the front part of the pocket is equipped with a velcro (hair) and the back side of the back part of the pocket is equipped with a velcro (outer thirds of the hair, center of the back side of the back part of the claw) and eyelets for the passage of straps for fixing the pocket to the tactical vest. The strap for fixing the pocket to the tactical vest is advantageously provided with a buckle at one end and a carabiner for molle attachment at the other end. The eyelets for the passage of the strap and the strap for fixing the pocket to the tactical vest are covered with Velcro over the entire surface.

The advantage of this technical solution is that the pocket creates another safe space for storing vital resources, which the user of the vest will most likely find when it is necessary to use them immediately, i.e. it is located on the chest and abdomen. The existing space and the use of tactical vests are not limited in any way, so the equipment is located in several rows. The advantage is that it can be combined with a tactical vest without the need to own two types of vests (tactical and chest rig), since the technical solution can be attached to the tactical vest using the standard side straps of the tactical vest / plate carrier.

Example of implementing a technical solution

A removable pocket for a tactical vest consists of a connected front part 1 and back part 2 of the pocket, when parts 1 and 2 are firmly connected to each other on the sides and in the lower part. This creates a top-access pocket, the inside of which is provided on both inner sides with a Velcro fastener 3. Thanks to this, the pocket can be opened and used along its entire length, or only from a certain part of it in the place where the inner Velcro fasteners 3 are not connected to each other .

The front part 1 of the pocket is provided with a flap 10 on its upper edge, which folds over the front outer side of the front part 1 of the pocket. The flap 10 is used for fixing the side belts 5 on the front side of the front part 1 of the pocket, when the flap 10 is provided on both sides with a Velcro fastener 3, whereby the entire front side of the front part 1 of the pocket is also provided with a Velcro fastener 3. On the Velcro fastener 3 placed on the front outer side of the front part 1 of the pocket is attached to the side belt 5 through the Velcro 3 located on the bottom side of the side belt 5. The Velcro 3 located on the bottom side of the flap 10 is connected to the Velcro 3 on the top side of the side belt 5. Attaching the side belt 5 on the outside of the front part 1 of the pocket and its Velcro 3 is made according to the size of the wearer of the vest so that it meets the required dimensions of the body circumference. A flap 10 is used to secure the attached side belt 5, which covers both the front part 1 of the pocket and the front part of the side belt 5. The other side of the side belt 5 is fastened to the rear part of the tactical vest, which is located on the back of the vest wearer and is not in this shown in the technical solution. The side belt 5 is equipped with a quick release mechanism 4 in roughly a third of its length for situations where the front and back parts of the tactical vest need to be quickly released.

The outer access side of the flap 10 is equipped with a Velcro 3 and a molle binding 11 for placing accessories, such as bags.

The outside of the back part 2 of the pocket is equipped with a Velcro 3 for attaching the pocket to the front part of the tactical vest. The back side of the back part 2 of the pocket is further provided in its upper part with eyelets 6 for the passage of straps 7. Eyelets 6 prevent lateral movement of straps 7. Straps 7 are used to fix the pocket to the tactical vest, in such a way that they are equipped with a buckle at their upper end 8 and at their lower end are equipped with a carabiner 9 for molle binding 11. The buckle 8 is attached to the counterpart of the buckle, which is located on the front part of the tactical vest approximately at the level of the shoulder straps, or breast of the wearer of the vest. The carabiner 9 for the molle attachment 11 is fixed to the molle attachment 11 located on the front part of the tactical vest. This variant describes a situation where the removable pocket according to this technical solution is worn on a tactical vest and the side belt 5 is aligned with the side belt of the tactical vest.

Another way to wear a removable pocket according to this technical solution is when the pocket replaces the front part of the tactical vest completely, i.e. the wearer does not need ballistic protection and additional space for attaching accessories, and only the size of the removable pocket is enough on his chest and wipes. For such a solution, the back part of the tactical vest can be used, which will be connected to the removable pocket again by the side belts 5, or the back part of the tactical vest can be replaced by a light version of the accessory, where the side belt 5 goes straight into the shoulder belts. When using the tactical vest without the front part, clip 8 serves to fix the removable pocket to the shoulder belts.

The pocket located on the tactical vest is used to transport accessories, such as magazine pouches and other cases, in such a way that these external parts are placed inside the pocket, or its parts in the places of the open Velcro 3 between the front part of 1 pocket and the back part of 2 pockets. Other accessories can be placed by attaching to the outside of the flap 10 and its Velcro 3, to the molle binding 11 on the outside of the flap 10, as well as to the remaining part of the Velcro 3 on the outside of the front part 1 of the pocket.

All velcro fasteners 3 need an opposite piece of velcro fastener 3 for their operation, which is usually found on the accessory or on another part of the pocket or on another attachable part (e.g. the side belt 5, with which it is to be connected.
