Abstract

Η προκείμενη εφεύρεση προτείνει μια μεθοδολογία για βελτιωμένη συλλογή και επεξεργασία τηλεματικών δεδομένων κίνησης, ιδιαίτερα για τη συλλογή δεδομένων σε σχέση με κυκλοφοριακά προφίλ σε οδούς και αυτοκινητοδρόμους με στόχο την ανάλυση της επίκαιρης κυκλοφοριακής κατάστασης καθώς και την πρόγνωση και εκτροπή, που προκύπτει από την εν λόγω ανάλυση. Η συλλογή των δεδομένων λαμβάνει χώρα μέσω δορυφορικών συστημάτων συλλογής δεδομένων. Στα πλαίσια αυτής της εφεύρεσης δεν χρειάζεται πλέον η εγκατάσταση επίγειων οδικών αισθητήρων και ως εκ τούτου αποφεύγονται τα προβλήματα σχετικά με την εγκατάσταση και συντήρηση. Σε αντίθεση με τις λύσεις των επίγειων αισθητήρων η προτεινόμενη μέθοδος επιτρέπει επιπρόσθετα την ζητούμενη δυναμική διαμόρφωση των γεωγραφικών περιοχών εφαρμογής σύμφωνα με τις εκάστοτε ανάγκες.
