Background
In the prior art, in the field of textile bonding technology, there are already in the market slot coated products and multi-point spray products, such as flexseatm adhesive gun products from nuo company. However, these prior art products have some problems in use. The first problem is that the entire dispenser and 300cc holder for the glue cartridge mounted thereon are integrated into the inner race of a larger ball bearing. Thereby, the whole device appears to become large. The overall mass of the device is therefore considerable. In physics, moving objects have two characteristics associated with dynamic and energy systems, namely inertia and momentum. Since the devices of the existing products have a large mass, the devices will be very unreliable when operating at higher robot feed speeds beyond their limits. The second problem is that in the existing products, only a 300cc barrel can be used to supply the adhesive due to its structural limitations. In this existing product, it is not possible to use a hose connection for adhesive supply. The third problem is that the cost of the product is a factor to be paid attention to, and since the existing product has a large-sized ball bearing, this results in a complicated mechanical structure, and thus not only the manufacturing cost but also the maintenance cost is significantly increased.

Detailed Description
In order to enable those skilled in the art to better understand the technical solutions of the present utility model, the technical solutions of the embodiments of the present utility model will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the accompanying drawings in the embodiments of the present utility model. Further, it is noted that references herein to "top side", "bottom side", "top", "bottom" are for descriptive convenience and are intended to describe the general mounting location and orientation of the product or system according to the utility model with reference to the accompanying drawings and not to limit the scope of the utility model. Further, reference herein to "fixed" refers to one object remaining stationary relative to another object, and encompasses both the case where one object is directly fixed to another object and the case where one object is indirectly fixed to another object via another object.
In accordance with the present utility model, an adhesive dispensing system is provided. The adhesive dispensing system may be applied to a three axis motion platform as known in the art. The three-axis motion platform is, for example, an XYZ three-axis platform, wherein a transverse line for realizing left-right rectilinear motion is an X axis, a front-back rectilinear motion is a Y axis, and an up-down rectilinear motion is a Z axis. The adhesive dispensing system may be mounted on a Z-axis moving part. The adhesive dispensing system of the present utility model can be used to spray/slot coat hot melt PUR (polyurethane) adhesives on a variety of fabric materials to support PUR-based fabric bonding applications.
Fig. 1 is an exploded perspective view of an adhesive dispensing system according to one embodiment of the present utility model, and fig. 2 is a cross-sectional view of the adhesive dispensing system of fig. 1.
As shown in fig. 1-2, the adhesive dispensing system of the present utility model may include a system base 14, the system base 14 referring to the basic portion of the system, such as a base or body frame, etc.
The adhesive dispensing system of the present utility model may also include a stepper motor 1 secured to the system base 14. The stepper motor 1 comprises a rotational output member 15. The rotation output member 15 is a drive wheel fixed to the output shaft of the stepping motor 1.
The adhesive dispensing system of the present utility model may further comprise a dispenser heating plate 9 for heating the adhesive, said dispenser heating plate 9 being fixed to said system base 14.
The adhesive dispensing system of the present utility model may further comprise a nozzle holder 3, said nozzle holder 3 being rotatably arranged at the bottom side of said dispenser heating plate 9 with respect to said dispenser heating plate 9, said nozzle holder 3 being connected to said rotational output member 15 of said stepper motor 1 by means of a drive belt 2.
The adhesive dispensing system of the present utility model may further comprise a clamping plate 13 fixed to the bottom of the dispenser heating plate 9, the nozzle holder 3 being supported by the clamping plate 13 through a bearing 7.
The adhesive dispensing system of the present utility model may further comprise a nozzle assembly secured to an end of the nozzle holder 3. The nozzle assembly may be a slot coating nozzle assembly, a multi-point spray nozzle assembly, or other nozzle assemblies known in the art. Fig. 1-2 schematically show, by way of example, a nozzle assembly as a slot coating nozzle assembly, wherein a cover plate 6, a guide plate 5 and an intermediate partition plate 4 are mounted in this order one above the other at the bottom end of a nozzle holder 3 by means of fasteners, such as bolts, so as to form an adhesive flow channel through which adhesive can flow, so as to form a slot coating nozzle.
According to the utility model, the nozzle assembly is fixed to the nozzle holder 3 so that they can be rotated together under the drive of the stepper motor 1. I.e. the nozzle assembly, the nozzle holder 3 may be rotated together about a vertical axis. In this case, in combination with the triaxial movement of the triaxial movement platform to which the adhesive dispensing system is mounted, a four-axis movement-capable dispensing device can be realized in which the dispensing head can be moved in rotation about its axis of rotation according to the pattern to be sprayed.
The bottom of the distributor heating plate 9 may have an outlet connection pipe 16 protruding towards the nozzle holder 3, the top of the nozzle holder 3 having a recess 19, the outlet connection pipe 16 extending into the recess 19, such that the nozzle holder 3 is arranged on the outlet connection pipe 16 in a relatively rotatable manner.
As shown in fig. 1-2, the bearing 7 may be a roller bearing, an inner ring of which is fitted on the outer circumference of the nozzle holder 3 by interference fit, and an outer ring of which is fitted on the inner circumference of the clamp plate 13 by interference fit. Thereby, the inner ring of the roller bearing rotates together with the rotation of the nozzle holder 3. According to the utility model, a small roller bearing 7 having a relatively small volume compared to the larger ball bearings in existing products is used for rotating the nozzle holder 3. In existing products, however, larger size ball bearings must be selected to maintain the weight of the entire dispenser. Thus, the dispensing system of the present utility model achieves a more compact and elegant rotor construction. In the present utility model, roller bearings are generally capable of operating at higher axial and radial workloads. Furthermore, according to the present utility model, a smaller rotor can be obtained, whereby a reduction in the mass of the rotor can be achieved, resulting in a reduction in the inertia thereof. The dispensing system of the present utility model is therefore capable of operating at higher rotational angular speeds and accelerations.
The tip of the nozzle holder 3 may be provided with a radially outwardly extending first flange 20, which radially outwardly extending first flange 20 fits on top of the inner ring of the roller bearing 7.
The bottom of the distributor heating plate 9 may have an annular recess 22 arranged around the outlet connection pipe 16, the radially outwardly extending first flange 20 of the nozzle holder 3 being accommodated in the annular recess 22.
The bottom end of the clamping plate 13 may be provided with a radially inwardly extending second flange 21, on which second flange 21 the outer ring of the roller bearing 7 is fitted.
The outer circumference of the outlet connection pipe 16 of the distributor heating plate 9 may be provided with a circumferential groove, for example formed by machining, in which a sealing ring 8 is provided. Preferably, two circumferential grooves are provided on the outer circumference of the outlet connection pipe 16 of the distributor heating plate 9, wherein one sealing ring 8 is provided in each circumferential groove. The sealing ring 8 may preferably be provided as a wear-resistant sealing ring. The seal ring 8 is compressed between the inner periphery of the nozzle holder 3 and the outlet connection pipe 16 with a proper tightness. This arrangement thus prevents high-pressure fluid (adhesive) inside the cavity 19 of the nozzle holder 3 from leaking out of the region of relative movement due to this sealing force.
The drive belt 2 may be wound at a position corresponding to the middle portion of the nozzle holder 3, wherein the portion of the nozzle holder 3 provided with the recess 19 is located on the top side with respect to the drive belt 2, and the portion of the nozzle holder 3 to which the nozzle assembly is mounted is located on the bottom side with respect to the drive belt 2.
The driving belt 2 may be a synchronous driving belt, and a belt driving wheel 18 is arranged at the middle part of the nozzle seat 3, and the synchronous driving belt is wound on the belt driving wheel 18 and the driving wheel of the stepping motor 1. By means of the synchronous drive belt, precise control of the rotational movement of the nozzle holder 3 and the spray assembly is ensured. As shown in fig. 2, the belt driving wheel 18 is tightly mounted on the middle portion of the nozzle holder 3. The stepper motor 1 thus directly drives the rotating parts comprising the nozzle assembly, the nozzle holder 3, the belt drive wheel 18 so that they rotate as a whole. At the top side portion of the rotating part, the inner ring of the roller bearing 7 is inserted on the outer periphery of the nozzle holder 3 by a suitable interference fit, and the outer ring of the roller bearing 7 is inserted on the inner periphery of the clamping plate 13 by a suitable interference fit. The clamping plate 13 is in turn fastened to the bottom of the dispenser heating plate 9 by means of fasteners, such as bolts. The nozzle holder 3 is substantially cylindrical in shape so that the nozzle holder 3 is substantially pressed into the inner ring of the roller bearing 7. The radially outwardly extending first flange 20 at the top end of the nozzle holder 3 also prevents the nozzle holder from being pressed further downwards and falling down. Thereby, the nozzle holder and the nozzle assembly can be positioned accurately and can be rotated about their central axis.
The adhesive dispensing system may further comprise a metering pump 11 secured to the system base 14, the metering pump 11 being in fluid communication with the nozzle holder 3 and the nozzle assembly for supplying adhesive to the nozzle holder 3 and the nozzle assembly through an adhesive flow path. The metering pump 11 is an adhesive material supply metering pump. It is a gear pump. The gear pump is capable of delivering accurate and stable adhesive output. At the same time, the metering pump can also operate very quietly without producing the loud noise that can occur in existing products. Moreover, the metering pump can operate accurately and durably.
The metering pump 11 may have a variety of configurations. For example, the metering pump may include a pair of gear sets, a driving gear and a driven gear. The driving gear is driven by a driving means, such as a motor. The motor is, for example, a servomotor. The driving gear and the driven gear form a pair of micro-gear sets capable of delivering a fluid.
The metering pump may further include: a top plate having a top plate flow passage for receiving fluid from an adhesive supply; a base plate having a base plate flow channel in fluid communication with an inlet port of the nozzle holder 3; and the gear supporting plate is positioned in the middle and is positioned between the top plate and the bottom plate. The gear support plate has an aperture at a central portion for receiving the driving gear and driven gear. That is, a micro gear set constituted by a driving gear and a driven gear is provided in a gear support plate, thereby constituting an internal metering pump.
A gap between the driving gear and the driven gear on one side of the metering pump is in fluid communication with a top plate flow passage of the top plate, and a gap between the driving gear and the driven gear on the other side of the metering pump is in fluid communication with a bottom plate flow passage of the bottom plate. Thereby, fluid can flow from the top plate into the bottom plate via the gear set.
With the metering pump, fluid, such as adhesive, can be accurately and adequately delivered to the nozzle assembly. Specifically, the interior space of the metering pump is in fluid communication with the adapter fitting 12, thereby being capable of receiving fluid material from the adapter fitting 12. The nozzle assembly is in fluid communication with the metering pump, thereby being capable of receiving fluid material from the metering pump.
As shown in fig. 1-2, the adhesive dispensing system may further include an adapter fitting 12 secured to the system base 14, the adapter fitting 12 in fluid communication with the metering pump 11, the adapter fitting 12 configured such that an adhesive reservoir can be mounted on the adapter fitting 12 or an adhesive raw material melter can be connected to the adapter fitting 12 by a hose. The adhesive dispensing system of the present utility model allows a customer to use 300cc or 30cc gauge or other gauge adhesive supply barrels or to connect to an adhesive raw melter using a hose when applying adhesive to a substrate. The arrangement of the adapter joint 12 enables easy switching of the above various adhesive supply modes. Thus, the present utility model provides a variety of adhesive supply ports for customer selection depending on the particular application. Thus, the range of applications of the adhesive dispensing system of the present utility model can be expanded.
The adhesive dispensing system may further comprise a solenoid valve 10 for controlling the dispensing of adhesive, said solenoid valve 10 being fixed on the system base 14 and being arranged on the top side of the dispenser heating plate 9. A valve stem 17 is provided within the solenoid valve 10, and the ejection of adhesive from the nozzle assembly is controlled by the longitudinal reciprocation of the valve stem 17. The solenoid valve 10 enables the apparatus to start a coating operation or to stop dispensing adhesive when it is operated. As shown in fig. 2, the valve stem 17 of the solenoid valve 10 extends longitudinally along a central axis and is capable of being coupled in linkage with a valve stem portion within the nozzle holder 3 so that the valve stem portion within the nozzle holder 3 can be brought into and out of contact with a valve seat within the nozzle holder 3 to control the ejection of adhesive from the nozzle assembly.
The adhesive dispensing system according to the present utility model, together with the three-axis motion platform, enables four-axis motion, thus solving well the problems of the prior art products described in the background section. According to the utility model, the nozzle assembly (e.g., slot-die coating nozzle head or multi-point spray nozzle head), the nozzle carrier rotate together about the central axis of the solenoid valve, without the holder of the glue bucket rotating therewith. Thus, the entire rotating part is compact and exquisite, so that this greatly reduces the total mass of the rotating part. Since the rotating part has a smaller total mass, its inertia will correspondingly decrease. Thus, the motion profile and path of the rotating part is more accurate and efficient than existing products. Thus, an adhesive dispensing system according to the present utility model would be more suitable for rotating at higher speeds. In addition, in the adhesive dispensing system according to the present utility model, the rotating member is provided at the tip end portion of the nozzle holder and the adapter joint is provided, so that a variety of adhesive supply methods can be used to allow the adhesive to enter the nozzle holder and the nozzle assembly from the corresponding inlet ports. In addition, the adhesive dispensing system according to the present utility model is easier to process and assemble than existing products, thereby enabling a significant reduction in manufacturing costs. According to the utility model, the structure of the whole set of mechanical equipment is very simple and compact, thereby enabling very low manufacturing and maintenance costs.
What has been described above is merely some of the specific embodiments of the present utility model. It should be noted that various combinations or modifications of the above-described embodiments may be made by those skilled in the art without departing from the principles and concepts of the present utility model, which are also to be considered as falling within the scope and spirit of the present utility model.
