The adapter assembly of claim 5, wherein the second member further comprises an engagement portion disposed on one side of the transition portion and between the two rail clamping portions, the engagement portion being disposed parallel to the first member, the first member being secured to the engagement portion by the first fastener.
7. The adapter assembly according to claim 6, wherein the engagement portion is provided with a long kidney-shaped hole, and a length direction of the long kidney-shaped hole is identical to a length direction of the engagement portion.
8. The adapter assembly of claim 6 wherein said first member and said engagement portion each have a flat panel power clamp mounted thereto.
9. The adapter assembly of claim 8 wherein said first member and said engagement portion are provided with a total of three of said planar power clamps, said three planar power clamps being arranged in a triangular configuration.
10. A panel power supply mounting device comprising a rail and an adapter assembly according to any one of claims 1 to 9, said rail being provided with a snap-fit edge for engagement with said bayonet.
