The present invention will be described in detail with reference to fig. 1 to 5 in conjunction with embodiments.
As shown in fig. 1 to 5, the battery cover plate according to the embodiment of the present invention includes a cover plate body 1 and an exhaust device 2.
The cover plate body 1 is provided with a connecting hole 101 and a liquid injection hole 102 which are communicated from top to bottom, the inner diameter of the connecting hole 101 is larger than that of the liquid injection hole 102, and the liquid injection hole 102 is used for injecting liquid into the battery; the gas exhaust means 2 is connected to the connection hole 101 after the battery charging is completed, for closing the charging hole 102 and exhausting the battery internal gas when the battery internal pressure F is equal to or greater than the threshold value.
Specifically, the battery cover plate of the present invention can be applied to various types of batteries in which gas may be generated, for example, lithium ion batteries. As shown in fig. 3, the cover plate body 1 is provided with the pole 3, as shown in fig. 4, the cover plate body 1 is provided with a connecting hole 101 and a liquid injection hole 102 which are communicated from top to bottom, the liquid injection hole 102 is used for injecting liquid into the battery, the liquid injection hole 102 further comprises a first hole 1021 and a second hole 1022 which are communicated from top to bottom, the second hole 1022 is a circular truncated cone-shaped hole, the diameter of the upper end of the second hole 1022 is smaller than that of the first hole 1021, and the inner diameter of the second hole 1022 is gradually reduced from top to bottom.
The connecting hole 101 is used for connecting with the exhaust device 2, and the inner diameter of the connecting hole 101 is larger than that of the liquid injection hole 102, so that the possibility that the connecting hole 101 is contacted with the electrolyte can be reduced, and the electrolyte is prevented from corroding the connecting hole 101 so as to influence the connection with the exhaust device 2.
The gas exhaust means 2 is connected to the connection hole 101 after the battery charging is completed, for closing the charging hole 102 and exhausting the battery internal gas when the battery internal pressure F is equal to or greater than the threshold value. That is, the exhaust device 2 is connected to the connection hole 101 only after the battery charging is completed. The exhaust device 2 is used for sealing the liquid injection hole 102 when the internal pressure F of the battery is less than a threshold value, so that the interior of the battery cannot be communicated with the external environment; the exhaust device 2 is also used to exhaust the battery internal gas when the battery internal pressure F is greater than or equal to a threshold value. It should be noted that the explosion-proof valve is not provided on the cover plate body 1. The exhaust device 2 which can be used for discharging the gas in the battery is arranged at the liquid injection hole 102, the exhaust device 2 is connected with the connecting hole 101 after the process of injecting the liquid into the battery is completed in the liquid injection hole 102, and even if the liquid is overflowed when the liquid is injected into the battery, the exhaust device 2 cannot be corroded, so that the problem that the explosion-proof valve in the prior art is corroded by the electrolyte overflowed in the liquid injection process is completely avoided.
When the battery internal pressure F is less than the threshold value, the gas exhaust means 2 closes the liquid injection hole 102, that is, closes the inside of the battery, so that the inside of the battery does not communicate with the outside, and external gas or impurities do not enter the inside of the battery, and when the battery internal pressure F is equal to or greater than the threshold value, the battery internal gas can be exhausted through the gas exhaust means 2. The threshold value is a value at which the internal pressure F of the battery is in a safe state, and may be determined according to actual conditions and the type of the battery. It is understood that when the gas inside the battery is exhausted and the pressure F inside the battery is again less than the threshold value, the gas exhaust device 2 can still act to close the liquid injection hole 102.
According to the battery cover plate of the embodiment of the utility model, the exhaust device 2 is installed by arranging the connecting hole 101 at the position where the liquid injection hole 102 on the cover plate body 1 is located, meanwhile, the explosion-proof valve is not arranged at other positions on the cover plate body 1 any more, and the exhaust device 2 is connected with the connecting hole 101 after the liquid injection process in the battery is completed, so that the exhaust device 2 cannot be corroded even if the liquid overflowing phenomenon occurs in the liquid injection process, and the problem that the explosion-proof valve can be corroded by overflowing electrolyte in the liquid injection process in the prior art is completely avoided, and the exhaust explosion-proof use effect of the exhaust device 2 is ensured; secondly, the exhaust device 2 can also be used as a sealing nail of the liquid injection hole 102, thereby reducing the sealing procedure of the glue nail and improving the efficiency in the manufacturing process of the battery; thirdly, when the internal pressure F of the battery is equal to or greater than the threshold value, the gas inside the battery can be discharged by the gas discharge device 2, so that the internal pressure F of the battery can be ensured to be in a relatively constant range, and the expansion force cycle test of the battery can be improved.
In some embodiments, as shown in fig. 1 and fig. 2, the vent device 2 includes a cover 201 and an elastic component 202, an outer peripheral surface of the cover 201 is fixedly connected to a hole wall surface of the connection hole 101, the cover 201 is provided with a cavity with a downward opening, a vent passage 2011 is provided in a side wall of the cover 201, the vent passage 2011 has a vent inlet 20111 and a vent outlet 20112, the vent inlet 20111 is provided on an inner peripheral surface of the wall body of the cover 201, the elastic component 202 is provided in the cavity, and the elastic component 202 is configured to seal the vent inlet 20111 when the internal pressure F of the battery is less than a threshold value, and configured to open the vent inlet 20111 when the internal pressure F of the battery is greater than or equal to the threshold value. It can be understood that, when the internal pressure F of the battery is greater than or equal to the threshold value, the internal pressure F of the battery may press the elastic assembly 202 to deform the elastic assembly 202, so that the elastic assembly 202 may be converted from a state of blocking the exhaust inlet 20111 to a state of opening the exhaust inlet 20111, and gas inside the battery may enter the exhaust passage 2011 from the exhaust inlet 20111 and then be exhausted from the exhaust outlet 20112, thereby reducing the internal pressure F of the battery and preventing the internal pressure F of the battery from being too large.
Specifically, the exhaust inlet 20111 may be disposed at an opening close to the cavity, the exhaust outlet 20112 may be disposed on a circumferential side wall of the cover 201 or on a top of the cover 201, which may be selected as needed, and the exhaust passage 2011 may be disposed in a plurality along the circumference of the cover 201.

It is understood that when the battery internal pressure F is greater than or equal to the threshold value, the battery internal pressure F presses the spring 2021 through the plugging sheet 2022, so that the spring 2021 deforms, the plugging sheet 2022 moves, so that the plugging sheet 2022 no longer plugs the exhaust inlet 20111, and the exhaust inlet 20111 is opened. It will be appreciated that the spring 2021 may be replaced by other resiliently deformable structures to allow the flap 2022 to be reset.
In some embodiments, the plugging sheet 2022 is a polytetrafluoroethylene sheet.
