3. The tracheostomy tube of claim 1 wherein at least a portion of said plug fits within the outer end port of said tube to close off the outer end port of said tube.
4. The tracheostomy tube of claim 3 wherein said plug is provided with a projection for insertion into the outer end port of the tube to effect closure thereof.
5. The tracheostomy tube of claim 1 wherein said plug is fixedly connected to said body by a snap fit and a slot, one of said snap fit and said slot being disposed on said plug and the other of said snap fit and said slot being disposed on said body.
6. The tracheostomy tube of claim 5 wherein at least a portion of said plug fits within an outer end port of said tube, said snap fit being provided on said plug, said snap fit comprising a first snap fit and a second snap fit, said first snap fit and said second snap fit being oppositely disposed.
7. The tracheostomy tube of claim 6 wherein said first catch and said second catch are each pivotally engaged with said plug.
8. The tracheotomy tube according to claim 1, wherein a plurality of protrusions are provided on the outer circumference of the plug, and the protrusions are evenly spaced on the outer circumference of the plug.
9. The tracheostomy tube of claim 8 wherein a plurality of said projections each extend axially of said plug.
10. The tracheotomy tube according to any of claims 1-9, wherein both ends of the fixing member are provided with connection holes for the passage of the binding band for ligature fixation of the fixing member and the binding band.
