Abstract
A table cart assembly, comprising: the system includes a first pair of legs, a frame, a second pair of legs pivotably coupled to the frame and the first pair of legs, a table configured to be supported by the first pair of legs and the second pair of legs, a pair of brackets pivotably coupled to the first pair of legs, and a nose plate. The nose plate is pivotally coupled to a pair of brackets for movement between a stored position and a deployed position. In the storage position, the nose plate extends parallel to and adjacent the table. In the deployed position, the nose plate extends away from the table. When the nose plate is in the deployed position, the table trolley assembly can be configured in a trolley position such that the nose plate extends perpendicular to the table.
Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to carts and work tables, and more particularly to a work-table cart assembly (workbench).
Background
Carts are typically used to transport items over a surface and work tables are typically used to work on a workpiece.
Disclosure of Invention
In one aspect, there is provided a table trolley assembly comprising: a frame, a second pair of legs pivotably coupled to the frame and the first pair of legs, a table configured to be supported by the first pair of legs and the second pair of legs, a pair of brackets pivotably coupled to the first pair of legs, and a nose plate. The nose plate is pivotally coupled to the pair of brackets for movement between a stored position and a deployed position. In the storage position, the nose plate extends parallel to and adjacent the table. In the deployed position, the nose plate extends away from the table. When the nose plate is in the deployed position, the table trolley assembly can be configured in a trolley position such that the nose plate extends perpendicular to the table.
Optionally, the first pair of legs and the second pair of legs are movable between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the table is at a first height above the ground. In the second position, the table is at a second height above the ground, the second height being greater than the first height.
Optionally, the first pair of legs and the second pair of legs are movable to a third position. In the third position, the table is at a third height above the ground, the third height being greater than the second height.
Optionally, the second height is between 20 inches and 28 inches. Optionally, the third height is between 30 inches and 38 inches.
Optionally, the table trolley assembly further comprises a ramp removably coupled to the nose plate.
Optionally, the table cart assembly further includes a receptacle removably coupled to the skid. The container may include a recess, and the slide may include a stop that cooperates with the recess to retain the container on the slide.
Optionally, the slide table includes a protrusion and the nose plate includes a groove configured to receive the protrusion in a snap fit to couple the slide table to the nose plate.
Optionally, the table comprises a plurality of modular table portions removably coupled to the frame.
Optionally, the table comprises a rail configured to slidably receive a bar clamp to couple the bar clamp to the table.
Optionally, the workbench cart assembly further comprises a latch configured to retain the nose plate in at least one of the storage position or the deployed position.
Optionally, the table trolley assembly further comprises a pair of wheels configured to support the table trolley assembly in the trolley position.
Optionally, the table trolley assembly further comprises an axle rotatably supporting the wheel. The shaft may extend through the pair of brackets. The table and the first and second pairs of legs are pivotable about the axis relative to the pair of brackets and the nose plate.
Optionally, each of the wheels has a diameter between 8 inches and 10 inches.
In another aspect, a table trolley assembly is provided, comprising: a frame, a second pair of legs pivotably coupled to the frame and the first pair of legs, a pair of brackets pivotably coupled to the first pair of legs, a nose plate pivotably coupled to the pair of brackets, and a table configured to be supported by the first pair of legs and the second pair of legs. The table is pivotable between a vertical position and a horizontal position relative to the pair of brackets and the nose plate. The locking member is movable between a locked position and an unlocked position. In the locked position, the locking member holds the table in the vertical position. In the unlocked position, the table is allowed to pivot towards the horizontal position.
Optionally, the first and second pairs of legs are movable between a first position in which the table is at a first height above the ground and a second position in which the table is at a second height above the ground, the second height being greater than the first height, when the table is in the horizontal position.
Optionally, the first and second pairs of legs may be further movable to a third position when the table is in the horizontal position, in which the table is at a third height above the ground, the third height being greater than the second height.
Optionally, the locking member extends between the pair of brackets. The locking member may be received in the recesses of the pair of brackets when the locking member is in the locked position.
Optionally, the table trolley assembly further comprises a foot pedal for moving the locking member to the unlocked position.
In yet another aspect, a table trolley assembly is provided, comprising: a frame, a second pair of legs pivotably coupled to the frame and the first pair of legs, a pair of brackets pivotably coupled to the first pair of legs, a nose plate pivotably coupled to the pair of brackets, and a table configured to be supported by the first pair of legs and the second pair of legs. The table is pivotable between a vertical position and a horizontal position relative to the pair of brackets and the nose plate. The first and second pairs of legs are movable between a first position and a second position when the table is in the horizontal position. In the first position, the table is at a first height above the ground. In the second position, the table is at a second height above the ground, the second height being greater than the first height. The latch member is movable between a locked position and an unlocked position. In the locked position, the latch member retains the first pair of legs and the second pair of legs in the first position. In the unlocked position, the first pair of legs and the second pair of legs are movable toward the second position.
Optionally, the table trolley assembly further comprises a handle. The handle may have a fixed portion and a movable portion. The movable portion may be movable toward the fixed portion to actuate the latch member from the locked position to the unlocked position.

Detailed Description
Before any embodiments of the utility model are explained in detail, it is to be understood that the utility model is not limited in its application to the details of construction and the arrangement of components set forth in the following description or illustrated in the following drawings. The utility model is capable of other embodiments and of being practiced or of being carried out in various ways.
Fig. 1 and 2 show a table trolley assembly 10 that includes a nose plate (nose plate)14, a skid platform (skin platform)18 removably coupled to the nose plate 14, a first pair of legs 22, a second pair of legs 26, and a table 30 supported by a frame 34. The frame 34 includes a pair of first brackets 38 at a lower end thereof (with reference to the orientation shown in fig. 1 and 2). Each of the second pair of legs 26 is pivotally coupled to a respective first bracket 38. The first leg 22 is pivotably coupled to the second leg 26 by a respective pivot pin 40.
In the illustrated embodiment, the nose plate is pivotally coupled to a pair of second brackets 39, the pair of second brackets 39 being separate from the frame 34. More specifically, the nose plate 14 is coupled to a pivot 42, the pivot 42 extending between the second brackets 39 and through a pair of arms 44 of the nose plate 14. Thus, the nose plate 14 can pivot about an axis 46 (FIG. 3) defined by the pivot 42. The illustrated nose plate 14 is pivotable between a stored position (fig. 1 and 3) in which the nose plate 14 and ramp 18 are positioned adjacent the table 30 and extend parallel to the table 30, and a deployed position (fig. 2) in which the nose plate 14 and ramp 18 extend generally away from the table 30.
Referring to FIG. 3, a locking pin 48 may be inserted into a first hole 50 of one of the arms 44 of the nose plate 14 to retain the nose plate 14 in the storage position. Specifically, when the locking pin 48 is positioned in the first hole 50, the locking pin 48 engages a bottom edge of the bracket 39 to prevent the nose plate 14 from moving toward the deployed position. When the locking pin 48 is removed and the nose plate 14 is pivoted to the deployed position, the first hole 50 is aligned with the second hole 54 in the bracket 39, and the locking pin 48 can be inserted through both the first hole 50 and the second hole 54 to retain the nose plate 14 in the deployed position. Thus, the locking pin 48 may be used to selectively retain the nose plate 14 in the stored and deployed positions.
When the nose plate 14 is in the storage position, the overall footprint (footprint) of the table trolley assembly 10 is advantageously reduced to facilitate storage and transport of the table trolley assembly. In the illustrated embodiment, the nose plate 14 includes a pair of generally triangular plates 58, and the plates 58 may engage the ground to support the table trolley assembly 10 when the manual table trolley assembly 10 is upright in the storage position. As described in more detail below, when the nose plate 14 is in the deployed position, the nose plate 14 may be used to receive and support one or more items, such as one or more stackable containers 62 (fig. 6), to facilitate shipping of the items.
Referring to fig. 4B, the shaft 74 extends between the first pair of legs 22 and through a pair of base members 78, the base members 78 being respectively coupled to each of the first pair of legs 22. A pair of wheels 82 are rotatably supported by the axle 74 for rotation about an axis 83 (fig. 3) parallel to the axis 46. The wheels 82 may have a relatively large diameter, such as between 6 inches and 12 inches or preferably between 8 inches and 10 inches, which facilitates movement of the table trolley assembly 10 over different types of terrain.
As shown in fig. 4A and 4B, when the table trolley assembly 10 is in the trolley position (hand truck position), the nose plate 14 is in the deployed position and is oriented at an angle of approximately 90 degrees relative to the table 30. Each of the second pair of legs 26 terminates in a handle 86, and the handle 86 may be grasped to move the table trolley assembly 10 along a surface via the wheels 82 to transport the storage container 62 (or other item) on the ramp 18 or nose plate 14.
Referring to fig. 5A-5C, the illustrated nose plate 14 includes a pair of slots or grooves 72, the pair of slots or grooves 72 configured to receive cantilevered tabs 76 extending from an underside 80 of the slip 18. The cantilevered tabs 76 are flexible and can be received in the slots 72 with a snap fit so that the ramp 18 can be removably snapped onto the nose plate 14. In the illustrated embodiment, the underside 80 may also include a plurality of L-shaped guides 84 configured to receive lateral sides of the nose plate 14 to guide insertion and removal of the slip 18.
In the illustrated embodiment, the upper side 88 of the slip table 18 includes an interface for engaging the storage container 62. For example, the illustrated slide table 18 includes a plurality of projections or stops 92, and these projections or stops 92 may be inserted into a corresponding plurality of recesses 96 (fig. 6) formed on an underside 97 of the storage container 62 so that the storage container 62 does not slide off of the slide table 18 when the storage container 62 is stored on the slide table 18 and the table trolley assembly 10 is jostled or bumped. As shown in fig. 10, the slide table 18 is configured to support a plurality of storage containers 62.
Referring to fig. 6, each storage container 62 has a handle 100 and a lid 104 defining an upper side of the storage container 62. The cover 104 may include a plurality of stops that match the geometry of the stops 92 on the upper side 88 of the skid 18 (fig. 5C) so that the storage containers 62 may be stacked 18 on top of each other when transported by the skid 18. In some embodiments, the slide 18 and storage container 62 may have any of the interface interfaces described in U.S. patent application No. 17/153,251, filed on 20/1/2021, the entire contents of which are incorporated herein by reference.
Referring now to fig. 7A and 7B, the illustrated table 30 includes a plurality of modular table sections 108 and a pair of guide rails 112, the pair of guide rails 112 extending across the width of the table 30 and positioned between adjacent table sections 108. Each rail 112 is configured to slidably receive and retain a rod clip 116 (fig. 7B). More specifically, the illustrated rod clamp 116 includes a fixed jaw 120, a movable jaw 124, and a pin 128 secured at a bottom front edge of the movable jaw 124. The pin 128 and the rails 112 are configured such that the pin 128 can slide along one of the rails 112 during clamping while the rails 112 secure the bar clamp 116 to the table 30. Accordingly, one or more rod clamps 116 may be disposed in a working position (i.e., coupled to the table 30) to allow a workpiece to be easily clamped and secured to the table 30. In some embodiments, the table 30 may be configured to receive and retain one or more rod clamps 116 on the underside of the table 30 without the use of clamps 116.
Referring to fig. 8A and 8B, modular table portion 108 may be removably coupled to frame 34 (via, for example, a plurality of quick release fasteners 132 inserted through holes 135 in table portion 108 and holes 139 on frame 34). The illustrated quick release fastener 132 includes locking surfaces 136 that are offset by 180 degrees and recesses 140 that are offset by 180 degrees and circumferentially disposed between the respective locking surfaces 136 (fig. 8B). To couple the modular table portion 108 to the frame 34, the fastener 132 is rotated such that the locking surface 136 is positioned under a corresponding protrusion 144 formed in an aperture 139 on the frame 34, thereby preventing the fastener 132 from being withdrawn from the aperture 139. To unlock and separate modular table portion 108 from frame 34, fastener 132 is rotated (e.g., 90 degrees in the illustrated embodiment) to align recess 140 with projection 144. The fasteners 132 may then be withdrawn from the holes 139 of the frame 34 and the table portion 108 may be removed from the frame 34. In other embodiments, another fastening device may be employed to removably couple the table portion 108 to the frame 34.
In the illustrated embodiment, as shown in fig. 8A, frame 34 is configured to receive three modular table sections 108 with guide rails 112 positioned between adjacent table sections 108. In other embodiments, there may be more or fewer modular table sections 108 coupled to the frame 34.
The modular table section 108 may be interchanged with various unique table sections to provide a work table cart assembly 10 having multiple functions. For example, as shown in fig. 9, depending on the type of operation to be performed by the table trolley assembly 10, any of the following unique table sections may be coupled to the frame 34 (e.g., by quick release fasteners 132): (1) a small parts compartment portion 162; (2) a rail saw mounting portion 166; (3) a suction table (downlink table) section 170; (4) a table router cutout portion 174; (5) a rotary tool holder portion 178; (6) an extension 182 for supporting the material; (7) a storage interface connection plate portion 186; (8) a battery charger power cradle portion 190; or (9) a universal miter saw connector 194. The wheelbarrow socket 198 may also be coupled to the frame 34 and thus the table cart assembly 10 may be used as a wheelbarrow. The slide 18 may also be coupled to the frame 34, allowing one or more storage containers 62 to be conveniently stacked on the table 30. In addition to the unique table sections listed above, other types of unique modular table sections having different functions than those shown and described herein may be coupled to the frame 34.
Referring to fig. 10-12, in addition to the trolley position (in which the table 30 is in a vertical position (i.e., oriented perpendicular to the nose plate 14 and the slide 18), the table 30 and legs 22,26 may be pivoted about the axis 74 to a horizontal position (fig. 10-12) relative to the second bracket 39 and the nose plate 14, which allows the illustrated table trolley assembly 10 to be positioned in a low-table position (fig. 10), an intermediate-table position (fig. 11), and a high-table position (fig. 12) in each of the low, intermediate, and high-table positions, the table 30 is oriented generally parallel to the nose plate 14 and the slide 18. in the low table position (fig. 10), the top surface of the table 30 (defined by the table modular section 108) is located at a first height H1 above the ground, in the intermediate table position (fig. 11), the top surface of the table 30 is at a second height H2 above the ground, the second height H2 being greater than the first height H1. In the high table position (fig. 2), the top surface of the table 30 is at a third height H3 above the ground, the third height H3 being greater than the second height H2. In some embodiments, second height H2 may be between 20 inches and 28 inches, and more particularly may be 24 inches. The third height H3 may be between 30 inches and 38 inches, and more particularly may be 34 inches. In some embodiments, the second height H2 may be particularly suitable for supporting a portable table saw using the table trolley assembly 10, and in some embodiments, the third height H3 may be particularly suitable for supporting a portable miter saw using the table trolley assembly 10.
Because the nose plate 14 is pivotally coupled to the second bracket 39, the nose plate 14 and the slide table 18 may remain stationary during movement of the table trolley assembly 10 between the trolley position, the low table position, the mid table position, and the high table position. Thus, any containers 62 or other items supported on the skid 18 may be advantageously held in place.
As shown in fig. 13, a locking member (e.g., locking bar 202) is disposed within the upwardly facing recess 206 of each second bracket 39 when the table 30 is in the vertical position (e.g., when the table trolley assembly 10 is in the trolley position). The lock bar 202 may move along a pair of slots 210 defined in each base member 78. When the lock lever 202 is disposed within the recess 206 in the locked position (as shown in fig. 13), the first pair of legs 22 and the base member 78 are prevented from pivoting about the shaft 74 toward the horizontal position. However, when the lock bar 202 moves upward in the slot 210 and out of the recess 206 into the unlocked position, the first pair of legs 22 and the base member 78 can then pivot about the axis 74 toward the horizontal position (e.g., to the low table position of the table trolley assembly 10 shown in fig. 10). The second pair of legs 26 and the table 30 pivot with them relative to the second bracket 39 and the nose plate 14 as the base member 78 and the first pair of legs 22 pivot from the vertical position toward the horizontal position. In the illustrated embodiment, an actuator in the form of a foot pedal 216 is pivotally coupled to each of the shaft 74 and the lock lever 202. The foot pedal 216 may be depressed by a user's foot to move the lock lever 202 from the locked position (fig. 13) to the unlocked position. One or more biasing members, such as a coil spring (not shown) housed within the base member 78, may be coupled to the lock lever 202 to bias the lock lever 202 toward the locked position.
Referring to fig. 14, the table 30 includes a pair of latch members 220 interconnected by a latch handle 224. Latch member 220 is pivotably coupled to frame 34 by a first pin 228 and pivotably coupled to movable portion 232 of latch handle 224 by a second pin 236, wherein second pin 236 is slidably disposed within a slot 240 in frame 34. Thus, movement of the movable portion 232 of the latch handle 224 toward the fixed portion 244 of the latch handle 224 (in the direction of arrow a in fig. 15) causes the latch member 220 to pivot about the first pin 228 (in the direction of arrow B) from the locked position (shown in fig. 14 and 15) toward the unlocked position.
The movable portion 232 of the latch handle 224 is biased away from the fixed portion 244 by one or more biasing members 248 (e.g., coil springs) positioned between the two portions 232, 244. The biasing member 248 thus also serves to bias the latch member 220 toward the locked position shown in fig. 14 and 15. Referring to fig. 14, in the locked position, each latch member 220 has a hook that engages and prevents the rod 252 interconnecting the second pair of legs 26 from moving away from the table 30. When the workbench trolley assembly 10 is in the low table position (fig. 10), the latch handle 224 may be actuated (e.g., by squeezing the movable portion 232 towards the fixed portion 244) to pivot the latch member 220 from the locked position to the unlocked position, wherein the rod 252 is no longer retained by the latch member 220. The second pair of legs 26 is then allowed to move downwardly away from the table 30, while the table 30 can be lifted upwardly toward the intermediate table position (fig. 11). Thus, the latch member 220 in the illustrated embodiment is configured to: the second pair of legs 26, and thus the first pair of legs 22 pivotably coupled to the second pair of legs 26, are selectively retained against the underside of the table 30 when the table cart assembly is in the storage position, the cart position, and the short table position.
Once the latch member 220 is unlatched and the table 30 is lifted upwardly, the second pair of legs 26 are moved downwardly away from the table 30 and pivot relative to the first pair of legs 22 about the pivot pins 40, the pivot pins 40 interconnecting the first and second pairs of legs 22, 26. Thus, the first pair of legs 22 also pivot relative to the second bracket 39 and away from the table 30. To maintain the table trolley assembly 10 in the intermediate table position, as shown in fig. 11, the cross bar 266 interconnecting the first pair of legs 22 is disposed in a pair of first hooks 270, the pair of first hooks 270 being located on the underside of the frame 34 of the table 30.
The cross bar 226 may be removed from the first hook 270 and then the table may continue to move upward toward the high table position. In the high table position, the cross bar 226 is received in a pair of second hooks 274 on the underside of the frame 34 to retain the table trolley assembly 10 in the high table position. In the illustrated embodiment, the frame 34 includes a pair of curved guide wires 280 configured to guide movement of the crossbar 266 between the respective hooks 270, 274 (fig. 14). That is, the crossbar 266 is captured between the guide wire 280 and the underside of the table 30.
As best shown in fig. 4B, in the illustrated embodiment, a torsion spring 279 surrounds each pivot pin 40 interconnecting the first and second pairs of legs 22, 26. The torsion spring 279 biases the table 30 upwardly toward the high table position and thus provides an auxiliary lifting force to facilitate movement of the table 30 from the low table position toward the high table position. This may be particularly advantageous if the table 30 is loaded with heavy tools or other materials.
Fig. 16 and 17 illustrate a table cart assembly 310 according to another embodiment. The table trolley assembly 310 is similar to the table trolley assembly 10 described above with reference to figures 1 to 15 and features and elements of the table assembly are given the same reference numerals plus the "300". Moreover, the following description focuses only on the differences between the table trolley assembly 310 and the table trolley assembly 10 described above. It should be understood that features and elements of the table trolley assembly 10 may be incorporated into the table trolley assembly 310 and vice versa.
Referring to fig. 16, the table cart assembly 310 includes two contoured guide rods 580 in place of the guide wires 280 described above with reference to fig. 14. The guide rods 580 may be made of a plastic material (e.g., an injection molded plastic material) and coupled to the underside of the frame 334. For example, the guide rods 580 may serve as feet to at least partially support the table trolley assembly 310 when the table trolley assembly 310 is in the low table position.
Referring to fig. 17, the table trolley assembly 310 includes a thicker locking bar 502 (as compared to the locking bar 202 described above with reference to fig. 13). Locking bar 502 is preferably made of a plastic material (e.g., injection molded plastic) because the increased thickness of locking bar 502 provides additional strength. Further, foot pedal 216 is omitted and locking lever 502 may be manually grasped to move locking lever 502 from the locked position (where locking lever 502 is received within recess 506) to the unlocked position (where locking lever 502 is moved out of recess 506 (as shown in fig. 17)). As with the lock lever 202, the lock lever 502 is biased toward the locking position by one or more biasing members. More specifically, a coil spring 513 housed in each first leg 322 is coupled to a pin 515 at the end of the locking bar 502 to bias the locking bar 502 toward the locked position.
Various features of the utility model are set forth in the following claims.
Claims (20)
1. A table cart assembly, comprising:
a first pair of legs;
a frame;
a second pair of legs pivotably coupled to the frame and the first pair of legs;
a table configured to be supported by the first pair of legs and the second pair of legs;
a pair of brackets pivotably coupled to the first pair of legs; and
a nose plate pivotably coupled to the pair of brackets for movement between a stored position in which the nose plate extends parallel to and adjacent the table and a deployed position in which the nose plate extends away from the table;
wherein, when the nose plate is in the deployed position, the workbench wagon assembly is configurable in a wagon position such that the nose plate extends perpendicular to the workbench.
2. A workbench trolley assembly in accordance with claim 1, wherein said first and second pairs of legs are movable between a first position in which said workbench is at a first height above ground and a second position in which said workbench is at a second height above said ground, said second height being greater than said first height.
3. A workbench trolley assembly in accordance with claim 2, wherein said first and second pairs of legs are movable to a third position in which said workbench is at a third height above the ground, said third height being greater than said second height.
4. A workbench trolley assembly in accordance with claim 3, wherein said second height is between 20 inches and 28 inches and said third height is between 30 inches and 38 inches.
5. A workbench trolley assembly in accordance with any one of claims 1 to 4, further comprising a ramp removably coupled to said nose plate.
6. The table cart assembly of claim 5, further comprising a receptacle removably coupled to the ramp, wherein the receptacle includes a recess, and wherein the ramp includes a stop that cooperates with the recess to retain the receptacle on the ramp.
7. The table cart assembly of claim 5, wherein the slide includes a protrusion and the nose plate includes a recess configured to receive the protrusion in a snap-fit to couple the slide to the nose plate.
8. A workbench trolley assembly in accordance with any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein said workbench comprises a plurality of modular workbench portions removably coupled to said frame.
9. A workbench trolley assembly in accordance with any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein said workbench comprises a guide rail configured to slidably receive a bar clamp for coupling said bar clamp to said workbench.
10. A workbench trolley assembly in accordance with any one of claims 1 to 4, further comprising a locking pin configured to retain said nose plate in at least one of said storage position or said deployed position.
11. A workbench trolley assembly in accordance with any one of claims 1 to 4, further comprising a pair of wheels configured to support said workbench trolley assembly in said trolley position.
12. A workbench trolley assembly in accordance with claim 11, further comprising an axle rotatably supporting said wheels, wherein said axle extends through said pair of brackets, and wherein said workbench and said first and second pair of legs are pivotable about said axle relative to said pair of brackets and said nose plate.
13. A workbench trolley assembly in accordance with claim 11, wherein each of said wheels has a diameter of between 8 inches and 10 inches.
14. A table cart assembly, comprising:
a first pair of legs;
a frame;
a second pair of legs pivotably coupled to the frame and the first pair of legs;
a pair of brackets pivotably coupled to the first pair of legs;
a nose plate pivotably coupled to the pair of brackets;
a table configured to be supported by the first and second pairs of legs, wherein the table is pivotable between a vertical position and a horizontal position relative to the pair of brackets and the nose plate; and
a locking member movable between a locked position, in which the locking member holds the table in the vertical position, and an unlocked position, in which the table is allowed to pivot toward the horizontal position.
15. A workbench trolley assembly in accordance with claim 14, wherein said first and second pairs of legs are movable between a first position in which said workbench is at a first height above ground and a second position in which said workbench is at a second height above said ground, said second height being greater than said first height, when said workbench is in said horizontal position.
16. A workbench trolley assembly in accordance with claim 15, wherein, when said workbench is in said horizontal position, said first and second pairs of legs are further movable to a third position in which said workbench is at a third height above the ground, said third height being greater than said second height.
17. A workbench trolley assembly in accordance with any one of claims 14 to 16, wherein the locking member extends between the pair of brackets and wherein the locking member is received in the recesses of the pair of brackets when the locking member is in the locking position.
18. A workbench trolley assembly in accordance with claim 17, further comprising a foot pedal for moving said locking member to said unlocked position.
19. A table cart assembly, comprising:
a first pair of legs;
a frame;
a second pair of legs pivotably coupled to the frame and the first pair of legs;
a pair of brackets pivotably coupled to the first pair of legs;
a nose plate pivotably coupled to the pair of brackets;
a table configured to be supported by the first and second pairs of legs, wherein the table is pivotable between a vertical position and a horizontal position relative to the pair of supports and the nose plate, and wherein the first and second pairs of legs are movable between a first position in which the table is at a first height above a ground surface and a second position in which the table is at a second height above the ground surface, the second height being greater than the first height, when the table is in the horizontal position; and
a latch member movable between a locked position, in which the latch member holds the first and second pairs of legs in the first position, and an unlocked position, in which the first and second pairs of legs are movable toward the second position.
20. A workbench trolley assembly in accordance with claim 19, further comprising a handle having a fixed portion and a movable portion, wherein said movable portion is movable towards said fixed portion to actuate said latch member from said locked position to said unlocked position.
