In the existing maintenance process of a nuclear power station overhaul unit, when a reactor finishes discharging a primary circuit and is discharged to a low water level, a false top cover needs to be installed on a reactor core to block an opening of the reactor and reduce the dosage of environmental radiation. In the state, the sealing surface of the pressure vessel cylinder flange is in an exposed state, and meanwhile, a gap is reserved at the joint position of the lower flange and the vessel cylinder flange to ensure that the false top cover is not interfered in the installation process. The invention aims to provide a foreign matter preventing device for a flange joint surface of a nuclear reactor pressure vessel, which solves the problems that external foreign matters can not be prevented from falling into and scratching a vessel cylinder flange seal surface and the foreign matters enter the inside of the nuclear reactor through a flange joint surface gap in the prior art.

The foreign matter prevention cover comprises a supporting plate, a protective screen and a flanged protective plate, wherein the left side surface and the right side surface of the upper end and the lower end of the protective screen are respectively provided with the supporting plate with a trapezoidal flat plate structure and the flanged protective plate.
The lower end face of the flanged protection plate is provided with a plurality of bases, and the bases support the whole foreign-matter-preventing cover on the flange sealing face of the container barrel.

The slopes of the trapezoidal edges on the two sides of the supporting plate and the flanged protection plate are the same, and the straight lines of the trapezoidal edges on the two sides of the supporting plate and the flanged protection plate are overlapped with certain diameter axes of the plurality of foreign matter prevention covers which are spliced to form the annular structure.
