Disclosure of Invention
The task of the invention is: a surface cleaning machine of the type described at the outset is provided which provides an optimized cleaning effect with ease of operation.
According to the invention, this object is achieved in the surface cleaning machine described at the outset in that, in a cleaning operation, the surface cleaning machine is supported on the surface to be cleaned only via a cleaning roller unit having an axis of rotation, a drive motor for the cleaning roller unit is provided, and a dirty liquid tank arrangement is provided, which is arranged in a removable manner on the cleaning head.
Since the surface cleaning machine is supported on the surface to be cleaned only via the cleaning roller unit, a relatively simple structure of the surface cleaning machine is obtained which can be realized with a low quality.
The scrub roller unit includes a scrub roller that is either one-piece or multi-piece with a unique axis of rotation. In a multi-piece cleaning roller unit, all the subunits have the same coaxial axis of rotation, and in a cleaning operation, the rotation of all the subunits takes place around the same axis of rotation at the same rotational speed in the same rotational direction, and the drive motor drives all the subunits.
Furthermore, cleaning can also be performed in difficult-to-reach areas, since the space requirements for the cleaning head can be kept small, and the driven cleaning roller unit therefore also functions as a support device; thereby, no further traveling elements such as wheels or the like have to be provided.
Since the dirty liquid tank arrangement on the cleaning head is removable, the travel for dirty liquid from the cleaning roller unit to the dirty liquid tank arrangement can be kept small, thus enabling simple feeding.
The dirty tank arrangement is removable from the cleaning head, so that it can be emptied and cleaned in a simple manner. The dirty tank arrangement may contain a large volume of dirty liquid, including liquid. In particular, the dirty tank arrangement can be removed as a whole from the cleaning head or inserted into the cleaning head as a whole, so that a higher filling level can be achieved for the dirty tank arrangement.
It is thereby even possible to carry out the feeding of the dirty liquid from the cleaning roller unit to the dirty liquid tank arrangement in a suction-free manner, or to provide the support with a suction machine having a relatively small power requirement and thus a relatively small energy requirement.
This makes it possible to operate the surface cleaning machine in an energy-saving manner. It is thereby also possible to supply the surface cleaning machine and in particular the drive motor with current using a preferably rechargeable battery device. The surface cleaning machine can thus be operated independently of the power grid.
Advantageously, the scrub roller unit is or comprises a wiping roller unit. Wet cleaning can thus be performed in particular on hard floors. In particular, the wiping roller unit is wetted and, by rotation of the wiping roller unit, the surface to be cleaned can then just be wetted correspondingly and dirt can be partly dissolved and mechanically stripped off and entrained by rotation of the wiping roller unit.
In one embodiment, the scrub roller unit includes a scrub roller unit and a sweep roller unit. The arrangement here is such that, in particular, the sweeping roller unit is arranged upstream of the wiping roller unit with respect to the normal cleaning operation. In particular, the cleaning process can thus be carried out before the wiping process is carried out on the surface to be cleaned. The sweeping roller unit can form, in particular, an additional support of the cleaning head on the surface to be cleaned.
Advantageously, the surface cleaning machine is supported on the surface to be cleaned during the cleaning operation via the wiping roller unit and the sweeping roller unit. Thus, for example, self-moving and self-steering cleaning heads ("cleaning robots") can be realized in a simple manner, which are capable of performing a sweeping process and a (wet) wiping process on a surface to be cleaned.
Advantageously, the dirty liquid tank arrangement comprises a common receptacle (common container) for the cleaning material from the cleaning roller unit and for the dirty liquid from the wiping roller unit. The cleaning object is dirty liquid from the cleaning roller unit. The dirty liquid from the surface to be cleaned can be correspondingly accommodated by the dirty liquid tank arrangement.
Alternatively, the dirty liquid tank arrangement may also comprise separate receptacles for the cleaning product from the cleaning roller unit and for the dirty liquid from the wiping roller unit. Thus, for example, individual receptacles for dry dirty liquid (for cleaning objects) and for wet dirty liquid (for dirty liquid from the wiping roller unit) can be provided.
In particular, one or more receptacles (receptacles) for a dirty liquid tank arrangement for dirty liquid are releasably positioned on the cleaning head between the cleaning roller unit and the wiping roller unit. A space-saving construction of the cleaning head is thereby obtained. The cleaning head can be realized in particular in a self-moving and self-steering manner.
The further support means is for example a roller unit with one or more rollers, such as with one or more sweeping rollers, and/or the support means is or comprises at least one roller and/or the support means is or comprises at least one sliding element. Whereby additional support portions may be formed. In particular, self-moving and self-steering cleaning heads can thus be realized in a simple manner. The support means may (fully or partly) provide a traveling drive. The support device can also be used for a traveling drive or an additional traveling drive for the cleaning head. It may also be configured for additional or unique redirection of the cleaning head.
Advantageously, the cleaning roller unit comprises one or more cleaning rollers or sub-cleaning rollers which are driven by the same drive motor, wherein different cleaning rollers or sub-cleaning rollers have the same or have different oriented rotational axes. An optimized operating option is thus obtained, in particular also for self-moving and self-steering cleaning heads. In the case of different orientations of the rotation axis, for example, the redirection can be achieved in a simple manner via different actuation in terms of rotation speed and/or rotation direction.
Advantageously, the longitudinal extension axis of the dirty liquid tank arrangement is oriented parallel to the (in particular unique) rotation axis of the cleaning roller unit. The longitudinal extension axis of the dirty tank arrangement extends between a first end side and an opposite second end side of the dirty tank arrangement. It presets the longest extensibility of the dirty tank arrangement. This results in a space-saving arrangement of the dirty tank arrangement on the cleaning head.
It is furthermore advantageous if the motor axis of the drive motor is oriented transversely and in particular perpendicularly to the longitudinal extension axis of the dirty tank arrangement. The motor axis of the drive motor corresponds to the rotor axis of the drive motor. A space-saving construction is obtained by the transverse orientation of the longitudinal extension axis of the dirty tank arrangement.
More particularly advantageously, the dirty liquid tank means is arranged between the cleaning roller unit and the drive motor. A short feed stroke for feeding dirty liquid from the cleaning roller unit into the dirty liquid tank arrangement is thereby obtained. It is thereby again sufficient to use a suction machine with a relatively low power to suck away dirty liquid or to enable a suction-free construction.
In one embodiment, a transmission is provided for torque transmission, which is arranged between the drive motor and the cleaning roller unit, wherein the dirty liquid tank arrangement has an upper side and a lower side, wherein the lower side faces the cleaning roller holder of the cleaning roller unit and the upper side faces away from the lower side, and wherein the transmission is guided past the upper side or the lower side of the dirty liquid tank arrangement. The transmission provides torque transfer from the drive motor to the scrub roller unit. The scrub roller unit is positioned spaced apart from the drive motor. The transmission provides, in particular, a rotational speed reduction, a torque reversal and, if appropriate, a bridging distance. The transmission device is guided to pass by the lower side or the upper side of the dirty liquid tank, so that a simple and compact structure is obtained. In principle, it is also possible for the transmission to be guided through a through opening in the dirty tank arrangement. In contrast, a simplified removability of the dirty tank arrangement from the cleaning head and a simplified construction of the dirty tank arrangement are achieved if the transmission is guided past the lower side or the upper side of the dirty tank.
In one embodiment, the dirty tank arrangement has a recess in which at least one part region of the transmission is located when the dirty tank arrangement is secured to the cleaner head. The corresponding free space through the recess provides a space in which the transmission can be positioned. This results in an optimum adaptation of the geometry of the dirty tank arrangement to the cleaning head.
In one embodiment, an apparatus body is provided, on which the cleaning head is arranged, wherein at least one of the following is positioned on the apparatus body: tank means for a cleaning liquid; a valve means for lowering the delivery of cleaning liquid to the cleaning head; battery means for driving the motor; a holding bar arrangement for holding and/or guiding the surface cleaning machine; a filter device for cleaning fluid; at least part of the drive motor. A compact structure is thereby obtained. In particular, elements of a surface cleaning machine having a relatively large weight, such as, for example, a drive motor, can be positioned lowest near the cleaning head. Furthermore, a removable valve device for delivering cleaning liquid to the cleaning head can be positioned on the device body, for example. A valve device for supplying cleaning liquid to the cleaning head and a filter device for the cleaning liquid can be positioned in particular in the housing on the machine body. Furthermore, the battery arrangement can be optimally positioned, in particular when the drive motor itself is arranged on the device body. It may also be provided that at least part of the drive motor is located in the device body. For example, the machine body is used to "anchor" the drive motor to the surface cleaning machine.
Advantageously, the drive motor is arranged at least partially between the device body and the cleaning head, wherein the drive motor is arranged in particular at least partially in the device body part. The battery device can thus be arranged in an optimal manner in the device body, for example. In addition, the torque transmission from the drive motor to the cleaning roller unit on the cleaning head can be realized in a simple manner. The drive motor can be arranged relatively far below (in view of the defined running with the cleaning roller unit supported on the surface to be cleaned), so that an easy handling is achieved. In this arrangement, the swingable movement between the cleaning head and the device body can also be achieved in a simple manner.
Advantageously, the cleaning head can be pivoted about a pivot axis relative to the drive motor and/or the device body, wherein the pivot axis is oriented in particular parallel or coaxial to the motor axis of the drive motor. Thereby an extended operational possibilities is obtained; accessibility of the spatially narrow region of the surface to be cleaned is improved, since the device body can be repositioned in a manner that is compatible with the cleaning head. The corresponding pivot bearing can be formed in a simple manner, for example, by a jacket of the drive motor as an inner sleeve and an outer sleeve arranged on the device body being formed in such a way that the pivot bearing is realized.
In one embodiment, the scrub roller holder having the scrub roller unit positioned thereon has a receiving chamber having a receiving cavity for a dirty liquid tank device. The receiving chamber can be configured in a multi-chamber manner, and the receiving chamber can comprise a plurality of subspaces. In principle, these subspaces can be fluidically connected to one another or can be fluidically separated from one another.
In particular, the receiving chamber is associated with a fastening device, by means of which the dirty tank arrangement is fastened to the receiving chamber, wherein the fastening device is designed in a releasable manner in order to enable the dirty tank arrangement to be removed from the cleaning head, and in particular is designed in such a way that the dirty tank arrangement is held in a holding position at the receiving chamber by means of form locking (formschlus). The fixing of the dirty tank arrangement to the receiving chamber can thus be achieved in a simple manner. Furthermore, the dirty tank arrangement can be removed in a simple manner in order to empty the dirty tank arrangement and, if necessary, clean it. The fastening device is furthermore designed such that the dirty tank device is positioned with the inlet nozzle in a defined manner relative to the cleaning roller unit. In particular, the scraping guide can be positioned in a defined manner relative to the cleaning roller unit.
In a structurally simple embodiment, the fastening means comprise at least one pivotable flap or the flap itself. The receiving chamber can be released in a simple manner by the pivotable flap, so that the dirty tank arrangement can be inserted or removed. When the flip cover acts on the dirty liquid tank device, the retaining and positioning of the dirty liquid tank device can be ensured through the flip cover. Furthermore, the flap can be designed such that it is prestressed to a certain extent in order to positively position the dirty tank arrangement on the receiving chamber in order to positively position the inlet mouth of the dirty tank arrangement and/or the scraping guide if appropriate with respect to the cleaning roller unit.
In this case, it is advantageous if the pivot axis of the at least one flap is oriented at least approximately parallel to the rotational axis of the cleaning roller unit. A structurally simple structure is thereby obtained. The dirty tank arrangement can be removed and placed again in a simple manner.
Advantageously, the at least one flap acts on an upper side of the dirty tank arrangement, which upper side faces away from the lower side, wherein the lower side of the dirty tank arrangement faces towards the bottom of the receiving chamber when the dirty tank arrangement is secured to the cleaning head. The retaining position of the dirty tank arrangement on the receiving chamber can thereby be ensured in a simple manner. Furthermore, a defined positioning can be achieved.
Advantageously, the at least one flap is configured as a pressing holder which positions the dirty liquid tank arrangement in a defined manner relative to the cleaning roller unit and/or in the receiving chamber, and in particular presses the bottom of the receiving chamber in the holding position. In this way, the operator can easily remove or replace the dirty tank arrangement and can be positioned automatically to a certain extent; the operator does not have to be careful about the accurate positioning.
For example, at least one flap is spring-loaded and/or is designed to be resilient in such a way that the dirty tank arrangement is held in the receiving space with a preload. The pretension provides that the inlet nozzle of the dirty liquid tank arrangement is located in a defined position relative to the cleaner roller unit.
In a structurally simple embodiment, at least one recess is arranged on the upper side of the dirty tank arrangement, and the at least one flap has at least one counter element for sinking into the at least one recess. In particular, the mobility of the dirty tank arrangement in the removal direction at the receiving chamber can be prevented in a simple manner.
It is furthermore advantageous if the at least one recess has at least one side recess and the at least one counter element has a locking element which mates with the at least one side recess, the locking element preventing the mobility of the dirty liquid tank arrangement in the direction away from the bottom of the receiving chamber when the at least one flap is closed. In this way, a form-locking can be achieved, which ensures that falling off is prevented in the position of the holding position of the dirty tank arrangement. Furthermore, the positioning of the dirty tank arrangement relative to the cleaning roller unit can be achieved in a simple manner.
In particular, the receiving chamber and the dirty tank arrangement are configured to be matched to one another in such a way that, in the holding position of the dirty tank on the receiving chamber, the dirty tank arrangement is prevented from being movable transversely to a vertical line at the bottom of the receiving chamber. This results in a simple manner in the fixation. Thus, the bottom prevents the movability parallel to the vertical line of the bottom, while the flip prevents the movability in the opposite direction.
In one embodiment, the dirty tank arrangement has one or more flaps. By opening the flap, the dirty tank arrangement can be emptied and, if necessary, cleaned in a simple manner. The flap forms, in particular, an upper side of the dirty tank arrangement, on which at least one flap of the fastening device can act.
In one embodiment, the dirty tank arrangement is constructed as a unit. The unit may here comprise one chamber or a plurality of chambers. The unit can be removed from the cleaning head as a whole or can be inserted into the cleaning head. In principle, it is also possible for the dirty tank arrangement to have sub-units that are separate from one another and that can be removed from the cleaning head or can be inserted into the cleaning head independently.
In one embodiment, the cleaning roller unit is configured in two parts (a two-part cleaning roller) with a first part and a second part, wherein the first part of the cleaning roller unit is assigned to a first chamber of the dirty liquid tank arrangement and the second part of the cleaning roller unit is assigned to a second chamber of the dirty liquid tank arrangement, and in particular the drive motor acts on an intermediate region between the first part and the second part. The intermediate region is for example the intermediate region of the shaft. A space-saving and structurally simple construction for torque transmission from the drive motor to the cleaning roller unit having (exactly one) axis of rotation is thereby obtained. In particular, the drive motor can thereby be positioned such that its motor axis is transverse to the rotational axis of the cleaning roller unit.
Advantageously, a scraping guide for the dirty liquid is provided, which acts on the cleaning roller unit and which is arranged at the inlet mouth of the dirty liquid tank arrangement. The dirt can be released from the cleaning roller unit by the scraping guide device, and the released dirt can be introduced into the dirty tank device, in particular via the inlet nozzle.
In particular, the scraping guide is arranged and configured in such a way that dirt entrained by the cleaning roller unit is separated from the cleaning roller unit by scraping and guided to the inlet nozzle of the dirty tank device. The feeding of the dirty liquid into the dirty liquid tank arrangement at the inlet nozzle can also take place at least partly via an impact effect by centrifugal force. The dirty liquid may be at least partially thrown into the dirty liquid tank arrangement at the inlet nozzle via the scrape-off guide arrangement.
The scraping guide is particularly advantageously designed in such a way that the dirty liquid is guided without suction into the dirty liquid tank device at the inlet mouth of the dirty liquid tank device by the scraping guide. The scraping guide is then arranged in particular directly at the inlet mouth of the dirty tank arrangement. In particular, the scraping guide then forms itself a wall of the inlet nozzle. A structurally simple construction of the surface cleaning machine is thus achieved as a whole, since there is no need to provide a suction machine with a blower motor, a low-pressure line and the like. Furthermore, a separator does not have to be provided.
It is furthermore advantageous if the scraping guide is arranged behind the inlet nozzle with respect to the direction of rotation of the cleaning roller unit. The dirty liquid can thereby be separated from the cleaning roller unit via a scraping effect and guided into the dirty liquid tank arrangement.
More particularly advantageously, the scraping guide projects into the coating of the cleaning roller unit. Thereby, the dirty liquid can be separated from the cleaning roller unit by scraping.
Advantageously, the scraping guide is rounded or chamfered at the edge which protrudes into the coating of the cleaning roller unit and faces the inlet nozzle. Thereby protecting the cover fibers. Furthermore, the rotary drive of the cleaning roller unit is operated in an energy-saving manner.
It is then particularly advantageous for the wet coating to be scraped-off guide means to project into the coating to a depth of at least 5% of the thickness of the coating.
In principle, it is possible for the scraping guide to be arranged on the cleaning roller holder. In an embodiment, the scraping guide means is arranged on the dirty tank means and is removable from the cleaning head together with the dirty tank means. The scraping guide is then automatically positioned in a defined manner "correctly" with respect to the cleaning roller unit when the dirty-liquid tank arrangement is positioned in a holding position on the cleaning head.
In particular, the scraping guide is formed by one or more edge elements, that is to say by one or more strips, which have corresponding edges that can in particular protrude into the coating of the cleaning roller unit. Preferably, the edge element forms at least in part a wall of the inlet nozzle.
It is furthermore advantageous if a cleaning element is arranged on the cleaning head, by means of which coarse dirt is fed to the cleaning roller unit for entrainment by the cleaning roller unit.
In particular, the inlet nozzle of the dirty tank arrangement is positioned between the scraping guide and the cleaning element. Thus, coarse dirt conveyed via the cleaning element of the cleaning roller unit can be entrained by the cleaning roller unit and scraped off on the scraping guide.
More particularly advantageously, battery means and in particular rechargeable electronic means are provided for supplying the drive motor with electrical energy. This allows the surface cleaning machine to be operated independently of the power grid. A simple operability is obtained.
It is furthermore advantageous if the drive motor is arranged between the battery device and the cleaning head. This results in an optimal locatability of the battery device.
Furthermore, it is advantageous if tank means for the cleaning liquid are provided. The surface to be cleaned can thus be wetted directly or indirectly (by wetting the cleaning roller unit). The cleaning liquid is in particular water which may be mixed with a chemical cleaning agent. Dirt on the surface to be cleaned can be wetted by the cleaning liquid in order to achieve improved disengageability.
In a structurally simple embodiment, the tank device for the cleaning liquid is positioned above the cleaning roller unit with respect to the direction of gravity when the surface cleaning machine is operated in a defined cleaning operation when the cleaning roller unit is supported on the surface to be cleaned. The supply of cleaning liquid to the cleaning head and in particular to the cleaning roller unit then takes place solely under the influence of gravity. No additional pump for conveying the cleaning liquid is required.
Advantageously, the inlet mouth of the dirty liquid tank arrangement has a longitudinal extension oriented parallel to the rotational axis of the cleaning roller unit. This allows the dirty liquid to be fed into the dirty liquid tank arrangement over a large length.
The surface cleaning machine is in particular configured as a manually operated or a manually guided surface cleaning machine. By virtue of being supported on the surface to be cleaned via the cleaning roller unit, the operator can hold the surface cleaner on the end facing away from the cleaning head (so that it does not tip over) and guide it over the surface to be cleaned.
In one embodiment, the cleaning head is self-moving and self-redirecting. Hereby a cleaning robot, in particular a wiping robot, can be achieved. The cleaning roller unit is in particular a wiping roller unit having one or more wiping rollers. Such a wiping roller can then in particular perform wet cleaning on surfaces and in particular on hard floors. It can also realize the cleaning function. Such a cleaning function can be achieved, for example, via a separate cleaning roller unit and/or via a cleaning edge, wiping roller unit. Due to the self-moving and self-changing construction of the cleaning head, automatic surface cleaning can be performed.
In particular, the surface cleaning machine comprises a cleaning head and a stationary station, the cleaning head being movable relative to the stationary station, wherein the stationary station is provided for at least one of: storing the cleaning head in a non-cleaning operation of the cleaning head; charging a battery device disposed on the cleaning head; a defined discharge or partial discharge of a battery device arranged on the cleaning head; cleaning a cleaning roller unit of the cleaning head; evacuating the dirty liquid tank device; the tank means for cleaning liquid is filled with cleaning liquid. The stationary station forms a docking station for the cleaning head.
More particularly advantageously, the displacement drive of the cleaning head is provided via the cleaning roller unit and/or the further support device. This allows the cleaning head to be constructed in a self-moving manner.
For the same reason, it is advantageous if the redirection of the cleaning head is provided via the cleaning roller unit and/or by means of a further support device. A self-steering cleaning head, in particular for a wiping robot, can thereby be realized.
In one embodiment, it is provided that the rotational drive of one or more cleaning rollers of the cleaning roller unit is effected via a drive motor in clockwise and counterclockwise directions. In this way, for example, a direction change for the traveling movement of the cleaning head can be achieved. In addition, a redirection can be achieved thereby.
In one embodiment, the scrub roller unit includes at least a first scrub roller having a first orientation and a first direction having an axis of rotation and a second scrub roller having a second orientation having an axis of rotation, wherein the first and second orientations are at an angle different from 0 ° and 180 ° from each other. In particular, the cleaning rollers of the cleaning roller unit are arranged in a triangle with each other. Thus, a traveling drive and a reversing drive for the cleaning head can be realized in a simple manner. The cleaning rollers (in particular wiping rollers) of the cleaning roller unit are responsible for cleaning and for forming self-propelled and self-redirecting. The redirection can be achieved in a simple manner by different rotational speeds and different rotational directions on the first and second cleaning rollers. Furthermore, good cleanability of the corners, edges, interfaces or the like of the wall is obtained.
In particular, a wedge-shaped arrangement of the first and second cleaning rollers on the cleaning head is provided, wherein in particular the wedge-shaped tip is located in the region of the front end of the cleaning head. In this way, a self-propelled and self-redirecting implementation for the cleaning head can be achieved in a simple manner. This results in a high cleaning effect for the areas close to the edges.
It is furthermore advantageous if the rotation of the first cleaning roller and the rotation of the second cleaning roller can be driven independently of one another, wherein a change in the direction of the cleaning head can be achieved, in particular, by corresponding actuation of the first cleaning roller and the second cleaning roller. The self-moving and self-steering construction of the cleaning head is thus achieved in a structurally simple structure.

Detailed Description
The exemplary embodiment of a surface cleaning machine according to the invention, which is shown in fig. 1 and is shown in fig. 2 to 10 in a partial view and is designated by 10, is in particular designed as a hand-held and hand-guided floor cleaning machine for hard floors.
The face cleaner 10 includes an apparatus body 12 and a cleaning head 14. The cleaning head 14 is disposed on the apparatus body 12.
During a cleaning process on the surface 16 to be cleaned, the surface cleaning machine 10 is supported on the surface 16 to be cleaned via the cleaning roller unit 18 and in particular the only cleaning roller unit 18. The scrub roller unit 18 has a single axis of rotation (see below). The scrub roller unit 18 is a scrub roller that can be one-piece or multi-piece. In the embodiment to be described below, the cleaning roller unit 18 is a two-piece cleaning roller.
The equipment body 12 has a longitudinal axis 20. The surface cleaning machine 10 is held by or guided by a long handle. For this purpose, a holding rod arrangement 22 is arranged on the device body 12.
In one embodiment, the retaining rod arrangement 22 comprises a (especially exactly one) retaining rod 24 having a longitudinal extension parallel to the longitudinal axis 20. A handle 26, and in particular an arcuate handle, is arranged at the upper region of the holding rod arrangement 22. The operator can hold the surface cleaning machine 10 with one hand on this handle 26 and can guide on the surface 16 to be cleaned (with the supported cleaning roller unit 18).
The retaining rod arrangement 22 may be configured to be variable in length or fixed in length relative to the length along the longitudinal axis 20.
The surface cleaning machine 10 is dimensioned in such a way that, when the cleaning roller unit 18 is supported on the surface 16 to be cleaned, the operator can comfortably carry out a cleaning operation on the surface to be cleaned with the angled holding arm. In particular, the length between the scrub roller unit 18 and the arcuate handle 26 along the longitudinal axis 20 of the surface cleaning machine 10 is in the range of 60cm and 130 cm.
In particular, one or more actuating elements are arranged on the handle 26. For example, a switch is provided via which the surface cleaning machine 10 can be switched on or off for cleaning operation. By means of which the operation of the drive motor 28 for the rotational operation of the cleaning roller unit 18 can be switched. Furthermore, a switch for actuating the valve device 38 may be provided (see below).
The apparatus body 12 includes a housing 30 in which the components of the face cleaner 10 are protected.
A holder 32 is arranged on the housing 30. A tank 34 for cleaning liquid, in particular water with or without additional cleaning agent, is arranged in a removable manner on the holder 32.
A can receptacle 36 for a can device 34 is arranged on the housing 30. The corresponding outlet of the tank arrangement 34 can be connected with a tank receptacle 36.
A valve device 38 is positioned in the housing 30 downstream of the tank holder 36.
One or more fluid lines 40 lead from the valve arrangement 38 to the cleaning head 14.
The valve device 38 has a shut-off valve via which the transfer of cleaning liquid from the tank device 34 to the cleaning head 14 can be shut off. A filter device 39 for the cleaning liquid can be assigned to the valve device 38. The filter device 39 is arranged in particular upstream of the shut-off valve and between the valve device 38 and the tank receptacle 36.
With the shut-off valve open, cleaning liquid can flow from the tank 34 via the fluid line or lines 40 to the cleaning head 14 and be applied to the surface 16 to be cleaned.
To this end, one or more outlet nozzles for the cleaning liquid are provided on the cleaning head 14. In principle, it is possible to design the outlet nozzle or nozzles in such a way that the surface 16 to be cleaned is directly supplied with cleaning liquid.
In an advantageous variant, the outlet nozzle or nozzles are arranged in such a way that the cleaning roller unit 18 and in particular the coating 42 of the cleaning roller unit 18 are supplied with cleaning liquid. The surface 16 to be cleaned is then indirectly subjected to a cleaning liquid loading by the cleaning roller unit 18 via the cleaning liquid.
The cover 42 is made of a textile material, in particular.
The valve device 38 is assigned a switch by means of which the user can adjust whether the shut-off valve of the valve device 38 is closed (i.e. whether the cleaning liquid is shut off to the cleaning head 14) or whether the shut-off valve is open (i.e. whether cleaning liquid is released from the tank device 34 to the cleaning head 14).
The switch may be disposed on the housing 30. In principle, it is also possible for the switch to be arranged on the handle 26.
In one embodiment, a battery arrangement 44 for supplying electrical energy to the drive motor 28 is arranged in the housing 30. The battery device 44 is rechargeable. Thereby allowing the surface cleaning machine 10 to operate independently of the mains power supply.
In principle, however, it is also possible for the surface cleaning machine 10 to be operated via mains current. A corresponding interface device for the mains current is then arranged on the surface cleaning machine 10.
The battery device 44 can be removed from the device body 12 in order to be able to perform recharging on the corresponding charger.
It is also possible to provide that corresponding charging means are integrated in the device body 12 and that recharging can be performed without removing the battery means 44 from the device body 12. The corresponding socket is arranged, for example, on the retaining rod 24.
The drive motor 28 is an electric motor. It has a motor axis 46. The motor axis 46 is coaxial with the rotational axis of the drive motor 28.
The drive motor 28 is mounted on the housing 30 between the cleaning head 14 and the appliance body 12.
In one embodiment, the motor axis 46 is oriented at an angle to the longitudinal axis 20 (and of the retaining rod 24) of the device body 12. The angle between the motor axis 46 and the longitudinal axis 20 is, for example, in the range between 150 ° and 170 °.
In one embodiment, the cleaning head 14 is swingable relative to the apparatus body 12 about a swing axis 48 (see fig. 2 and 3). This swingable property is indicated in fig. 2 by a double arrow with reference numeral 50.
In particular, the swing axis 48 is coaxial with the motor axis 46.
In one embodiment, the drive motor 28 is disposed on the inner sleeve 52. The inner sleeve 52 preferably forms an envelope for the drive motor 28.
An outer sleeve 54 is securely positioned within the device body 12. The inner sleeve 52 is disposed within the outer sleeve 54. The inner sleeve 52 can be pivoted about the pivot axis 48 relative to the outer sleeve 54, wherein the inner sleeve 52 is mounted in a pivotable manner in the outer sleeve 54. The inner sleeve 52 and the outer sleeve 54 form a swing bearing 56 for enabling the cleaning head 14 to swing relative to the apparatus body 12. The drive motor 28 can be pivoted about a pivot axis 48 relative to the device body 12. The corresponding leads from the battery device 44 to the drive motor 28 are arranged and designed in such a way that they allow a pivoting movement. Accordingly, the fluid line 40 or the plurality of fluid lines 40 is/are designed in such a way that it/they allow such a swinging movement.
The pivot bearing 56 has a basic position, which is defined, for example, by the fact that the (single) axis of rotation 58 of the cleaning roller unit 18 is oriented perpendicularly to the plane E according to fig. 1. Pivoting about the pivot axis 58 relative to this basic position takes place in an angular position of the pivot axis 58 relative to the plane E.
The pivot bearing 56 is adjusted in particular in such a way that a special effort is required in relation to the normal cleaning operation, in order to cause the cleaning head 14 to pivot out of its basic position.
The ability of the cleaning head 14 to pivot about the pivot axis 48 enables better cleaning possibilities even in difficult-to-reach positions by allowing the device body 12 to be "repositioned" with respect to the surface 16 to be cleaned, along with the holder bar arrangement 22, to some extent.
The cleaning head 14 has a cleaning roller holder 60 on which the cleaning roller unit 18 is rotatably mounted about the axis of rotation 58. The scrub roller holder 60 is fixedly connected (drehfest) to the inner sleeve 52.
The cleaning roller holder 60 has a holding area 62 for the cleaning roller unit 18 and a receiving chamber 64 for a dirty tank arrangement 66 (see, for example, fig. 3).
The receiving chamber 64 is positioned between the holding area 62 and the inner sleeve 52. The inner sleeve 52 is in particular firmly connected to the outside of the receiving chamber 64.
The scrub roller unit 18 is torsionally coupled (wirksam) to the drive motor 28 via a transmission 68.
The transmission 68 torsionally connects the motor shaft of the drive motor 28 (which rotates about the motor axis 46) with a shaft 70 for the cleaning roller unit 18.
In one embodiment, transmission 68 includes a speed reducer. The speed reducer is used to reduce the rotational speed compared to the rotational speed of the motor shaft. For example, the rotational speed of a standard electric motor is on the order of 7000 revolutions per minute. The speed reducer provides for reducing the speed of rotation to, for example, about 400 revolutions per minute.
The rotation speed reducer may be disposed in the inner sleeve 52 on the cleaning roller holder 60 or outside the inner sleeve 52.
The rotational speed reducer is configured, for example, as a planetary gear.
The transmission 68 also includes a bevel gear mechanism that provides torque redirection to cause actuation of the scrub roller unit 18 with the rotation axis 58 transverse (and in particular perpendicular) to the motor axis 46. The bevel gear is arranged in particular after the speed reducer.
In one embodiment, the bevel gear transmission has one or more gears which are coupled in a rotationally fixed manner to the respective shaft of the speed reducer. These gears act on bevel gears for angular conversion.
In one embodiment, the transmission 68 further includes a belt that is torsionally coupled to the bevel gear train and acts on the shaft 70. The belt spans the space between the shaft 70 and the bevel gear and provides a speed reduction.
In one embodiment, the scrub roller unit 18 is two-piece configured with a first portion 72 and a second portion 74. The first portion 72 is non-rotatably disposed on a first side of the shaft 70 and the second portion 74 is non-rotatably disposed on a second side of the shaft 70 opposite the first side of the shaft 70.
The transmission 68 is guided and coupled to the shaft 70 in an intermediate region 76 between the first portion 72 and the second portion 74. They have the same axis of rotation 58.
The cleaning roller unit 18 or the first part 72 and the second part 74 of the cleaning roller unit 18 have a sleeve 78 (see, for example, fig. 5), which is configured cylindrically. A cover 42 is disposed over the sleeve 78. The scrub roller unit 18 or the first portion 72 and the second portion 74 are secured to the shaft 70 via a sleeve 78.
The cleaning roller unit 18 is arranged on the cleaning head 14 in such a way that the rotational axis 58 is oriented perpendicular to the longitudinal axis 20.
The scrub roller unit 18 has a length along the rotation axis 58 between a first end side 80 (formed on the first portion 72) and a second end side 82 (formed on the second portion 74) that is substantially greater than a corresponding width of the device body 12 perpendicular to the longitudinal axis 20. In particular, the cleaning roller unit 18 has a length between the first end side 80 and the second end side 82 of at least 20cm and preferably at least 25cm.
The receiving chamber 64 has a bottom 84 (see, e.g., fig. 5). At the bottom 84, transversely thereto, a receiving chamber wall 86 is arranged. The receiving chamber wall 86 and the bottom 84 of the receiving chamber 64 define a receiving chamber 88 for the dirty tank arrangement 66.
Opposite the bottom 84, the receiving cavity 88 is open. Via the respective side 90, the dirty tank arrangement 66 can be removed from or inserted into the receiving chamber 88. The removal or insertion direction 92 (see fig. 6) is substantially perpendicular to the bottom 84 (and perpendicular to the axis of rotation 58).
In one embodiment, the receiving chamber wall 86 has a step 96 at a wall region 94 of the receiving chamber wall 86. The wall region 94 faces toward the holding region 62.
The step 96 is furthermore arranged near the bottom 84.
The receiving chamber 64 is assigned a fastening device 98, by means of which the dirty tank arrangement 66 can be fastened in a holding position 100 (fig. 5) at the receiving chamber wall 86. The fastening is achieved in particular by form-locking.
In one embodiment, the fastening device 98 comprises a flap 98 which is arranged on the cleaning head 14 in a pivotable manner about a pivot axis 104 by means of a pivot bearing 106. The wobble bearing 106 is here positioned at or near the inner sleeve 52.
The pivot axis 104 is oriented parallel to the rotational axis 58 of the rotary roller 18.
In the holding position 100, the flap 102 acts on the dirty tank arrangement 66 and holds it in the receiving cavity 88 over the receiving cavity 64.
To remove the dirty tank arrangement 66 from the cleaning head 14, the flap 102 is pivoted out of the holding position 100 in the direction of the appliance body 12 (see fig. 6, indicated by reference numeral 108) in order to release the dirty tank arrangement 66, so that it can be removed from the receiving chamber 88 at the side 92 in the removal direction 92 and can be removed from the cleaning head 14.
The dirty tank arrangement 66 (fig. 8 to 10) is constructed as a unit. It has a first chamber 110 facing the first portion 72 of the scrub roller unit 18 and a second chamber 112 facing the second portion 74 of the scrub roller unit 18.
The first chamber 110 contains dirty liquid from the first portion 72 of the scrub roller unit 18 and the second chamber 112 contains dirty liquid from the second portion 74 of the scrub roller unit 18.
In principle, it is possible here for the first chamber 110 and the second chamber 112 to be fluidically connected to one another and, for example, to be fluidically connected to a common drain opening.
It is also possible to provide that the first chamber 110 and the second chamber 112 are fluid-tightly separated from each other and that each chamber 110, 112 has its own outlet mouth.
The first chamber 110 and the second chamber 112 are spaced apart; between the first and second chambers 110, 112, the dirty tank arrangement 66 has a recess 114. The recess 114 is disposed about a longitudinally extending axis 116 of the dirty tank arrangement 66 in a region intermediate the dirty tank arrangement 66.
When the dirty tank arrangement 66 is secured to the cleaner head 14 in the holding position 100, the longitudinally extending axis 116 is oriented parallel to the rotational axis 58 of the cleaner roller unit 18.
The longitudinally extending axis 116 of the dirty tank arrangement 66 extends between a first outer end 118 and a second outer end 120 of the dirty tank arrangement 66, wherein the dirty tank arrangement 66 has its greatest length dimension between the first outer end 118 and the second outer end 120.
Recess 114 is used to guide at least a portion of the area of transmission 68. The cleaning roller unit 18 is centrally driven. The transmission 68 spans the distance between the drive motor 28 and the shaft 70. Recess 114 leaves a space area on the dirty tank arrangement 86 to accommodate the transmission 68 to some extent.
It may be provided that the receiving chamber 64 has receiving cavities 88 for the first chamber 110 and the second chamber 112, respectively.
It is also possible to provide the first chamber 110 and the second chamber 112 with a common receiving chamber 88.
The first and second chambers 110, 112 are connected to one another via a crossover 122 so that the dirty tank arrangement 66 forms a unit and can be removed from or placed into the cleaner head 14 as a whole.
In one embodiment, the dirty tank arrangement 66 has a cover plate 124 swingably mounted on the first and second chambers 110, 112 via spaced apart swing bearings 126a, 126 b.
The cover plate 124 may be flipped up to provide respective drain openings for the first and second chambers 110, 112 and to enable cleaning of the interior cavity of the dirty tank arrangement 66 if necessary.
In the embodiment shown in fig. 8 to 10, the first chamber 110 and the second chamber 112 are fluid-tightly separated from each other. The cover 124 is a common cover for the first chamber 110 and the second chamber 112. The first and second chambers 110, 112 may then be evacuated by opening the cover plate 124 or access to the first and second chambers 110, 112 may be provided to enable corresponding cleaning to be performed.
The cover plate can be secured with the first and/or second chambers 110, 112 and/or the crossover 122 in a manner that provides a fluid tight dirty tank arrangement 66 (except for the inlet nozzle) when the cover plate 124 is closed.
In principle, it is also possible for the dirty liquid tank arrangement 66 to comprise mechanically separate chambers, one of which is then associated with each of the first and second portions 72, 74 of the cleaning roller unit 18. In this case, the corresponding part of the dirty tank arrangement must then be removed from or inserted into the cleaner head 14 separately.
The dirty tank arrangement 66 has an underside 128 formed on the outside of the bottom 84 on the first and second chambers 110, 112 respectively. It also has an upper side 130 opposite the lower side 128, which is formed on the outside of the cover plate 124.
A recess 132 (or recesses 132) is formed in the upper side 130 of the dirty tank arrangement 66 and thus in the cover plate 124. The recess or recesses 132 are channel-like and have a concave side surface 134.
The flip 102 has a mating element 136 (or a plurality of mating elements 136) that are used to cooperate with the recess 132.
A locking element 138 (fig. 5 to 7) is arranged on the mating element 136 or on several mating elements 136, for cooperation with the undercut 134. When mating element 136 is immersed with its locking element 138 into recess 132 and reaches into holding position 100, locking element 138 then rests against lateral recess 134. Thereby, the flip 102 is locked to prevent the upper side 130 of the dirty tank arrangement 66 from swinging away. A corresponding force expenditure must be applied in order to guide the locking element 138 away from the lateral concavity 134.
The dirty tank arrangement 66 is positioned relative to the flap 102 and the receiving chamber 64 in such a way that, when the dirty tank arrangement 66 is positioned on the receiving chamber 64 in the holding position 100, the locking element 138 dips into the recess 132 and correspondingly rests against the side recess 134 and thus ensures the holding position 100.
In an embodiment, the dirty tank arrangement 66 has a step 140 (see FIG. 6) that mates with the step 96.
When the dirty tank arrangement 66 is placed into the receiving chamber 88, the receiving chamber wall 86 locks the mobility of the dirty tank arrangement 66 in the receiving chamber 88 in a direction transverse to the removal/placement direction 92.
The positive locking is optionally supported by steps 96, 140.
The bottom 84 of the receiving chamber 64 prevents the dirty tank arrangement 66 from "losing" when placed.
When the flap 102 is closed and the locking element 138 is positioned in the recess 132 against the lateral recess 134, a mobility parallel to the removal direction 92 is then prevented in order to ensure the holding position 100 of the dirty tank arrangement 66 on the receiving chamber 64.
The flap 102 is particularly configured as a hold-down retainer that provides a defined positioning of the dirty tank arrangement 66 relative to the scrub roller unit 18.
The flap 102 is arranged or designed in such a way that, in particular, in the holding position 100, a corresponding positioning force is applied to the flap 100 and, in particular, the dirty tank arrangement 66 is pressed against the bottom 84 and the wall region 94. Pressing against the wall region 94 is also supported by a step 96 on the wall region 94 in cooperation with a step 140 in the dirty tank arrangement 66.
It may be provided that the flap 102 is supported, for example, resiliently on the pivot bearing 106. Alternatively or additionally, the flap 102 can be configured on the counter element 136, for example, in such a way that a corresponding elastic force can be applied to the dirty tank arrangement 66.
The cleaning head 14 has a scraping guide 142 (see fig. 5) which acts on the cleaning roller unit 18 (and here on the first and second portions 72, 74) and is used to disengage and feed the dirty liquid (in particular water with dirt particles) entrained by the cleaning roller unit 18 to an inlet nozzle 144 of the dirty liquid tank arrangement 66 which is fixed to the cleaning head 14 in the holding position 100. Thereby, the dirty liquid is then fed into the dirty liquid tank arrangement 66.
The inlet nozzle 144 of the dirty tank arrangement 66 is slit-like (fig. 9). It comprises a first portion 146, which is an input mouth for the first chamber 110, and a second portion 148, which is an input mouth for the second chamber 112.
In the embodiment shown in fig. 9, the first portion 146 and the second portion 148 each have a greater length along the longitudinal extension axis 116 than the associated chamber 110 or 112. The dirty tank arrangement 66 has walls at the ends of the inlet nozzle 144 on the first and second portions 146, 148, respectively, to enable dirty liquid that merges through the first and second portions 146, 148 of the inlet nozzle 144 to be transferred to the first or second chambers 110, 112, respectively.
A first portion 146 of the inlet nozzle 144 is associated with the first portion 72 of the scrub roller unit 18. A second portion 148 of the inlet nozzle 144 is associated with the second portion 74 of the scrub roller unit 18. The first portion 146 and the second portion 148 of the input mouth 144 are spaced apart from one another corresponding to the spacing of the first portion 72 and the second portion 74.
Preferably, the first portion 146 and the second portion 148 have respective wrap lengths along the rotational axis 58 that at least approximately correspond to the first portion 72 and the second portion 74 of the scrub roller unit 18, respectively.
The scraping guide 142 is configured such that dirt liquid is scraped off the cleaning roller assembly 18 by it and guided into the inlet nozzle 144.
It is possible here that, when the cleaning roller unit 18 rotates, a guiding effect is achieved by the action of centrifugal force and to some extent the dirty liquid is thrown into the dirty liquid tank arrangement 66.
The scrape guide 142 is spaced from the axis of rotation 58.
In one embodiment (see, e.g., fig. 5), the scrape guide 142 extends to a depth into the cover 42 of the scrub roller unit 18. This depth is at least 5% of the thickness D (fig. 5) of the cover 42 of the cleaning roller unit 18 in view of the wet state of the cover 42.
The scraping guide 142 is formed in particular by one or more edge elements 150. For example, the first portion 72 and the second portion 74 of the cleaning roller unit 18 are each associated with an edge element 150.
The edge element 150 is configured as a guide strip, which accordingly protrudes into the coating 42 on the first and second portions 72, 74 of the cleaning roller unit 18.
The edge element 150 has a relatively small thickness, which is in particular smaller than the thickness D of the coating 42.
In one embodiment, an edge element 150 or a plurality of edge elements 150 are formed in a curved manner.
The scraping guide 142 forms, in particular, a wall of the inlet nozzle 144 with an edge element 150 or with a plurality of edge elements 150.
One or more edge elements 150 are formed rounded or chamfered at the edge facing the inlet mouth 144. The fibers of the wrap 42 are thereby protected and less force needs to be overcome as the scrub roller unit 18 rotates. Thereby achieving an energy saving effect again. Such rounding at the edges is indicated with reference numeral 151 in fig. 5.
In principle, it can be provided that the wiping guide 142 is arranged on the cleaning roller holder 60.
In the illustrated embodiment, the scrape guide 142 is disposed on the dirty tank assembly 66.
The dirty tank arrangement has a wall 152 which faces towards the wall region 94 in the holding position 100. One or more edge elements 150 are arranged on respective walls 152 of the first chamber 110 and the second chamber 112.
The corresponding scraping guide 142 is preferably arranged here outside the flap 124 of the dirty tank arrangement 66.
In this embodiment, when the dirty tank arrangement 66 is removed from the cleaning head 14, the scratch-off guide 142 is removed from the cleaning head.
Furthermore, a cover 154 is provided on the cleaning head 14, which is associated with the cleaning roller unit 18. The cover 154 is arranged immediately after the scraping off of the guide 142 (with one or more edge elements 150). The edge element 150 is formed in such a way that it matches the corresponding curvature of the cleaning roller unit 118 with the coating 42.
In principle, the covering element 154 contacts the covering 42 or penetrates into it, the penetration depth preferably being smaller than the penetration depth T of the scraper guide 142.
In one embodiment, the fluid line 40 or fluid lines 40 open into a region 156 between the cover 154 and the scraping guide 142, in which region the cleaning roller unit 18 can then be acted upon with cleaning liquid from the tank device 34.
In particular, the region 146 has a length along the rotational axis 58 that corresponds at least approximately to the length of the first portion 72 or the second portion 74 of the cleaning roller unit 18, so that a uniform fluid loading of the cleaning roller unit 18 over its length can be achieved.
In the illustrated embodiment, the cover 154 is disposed over the dirty tank arrangement 66.
It must then be provided, accordingly, that a suitable coupling to the fluid line 40 or to a plurality of fluid lines 40 is achieved.
With respect to the direction of rotation 158 (see fig. 5) of the cleaning roller unit 18 during the cleaning operation, the wiping guide 142 is arranged with its edge element 150 or its edge elements 150 after the inlet nozzle 144. This makes it possible to "throw" the dirty liquid, which was previously caught by the cleaning roller unit 18 from the surface 16 to be cleaned and transported in the direction of the wiping guide 142, via the wiping guide 142 into the inlet nozzle 144 and thus into the dirty liquid tank arrangement 66.
In one embodiment, the scrub roller unit 18 is also associated with a sweeping element 160 that is used to deliver coarse dirt to the scrub roller unit 18. This coarse dirt may then be entrained by the scrub roller unit 18.
The inlet nozzle 144 is arranged between the scraping guide 142 and the cleaning element 160.
In the illustrated embodiment, the sweeping element 160 is disposed on the scrub roller holder 60 at the holding area 62. The cleaning element 160 is designed such that it can act on the surface 16 to be cleaned for a cleaning function at least in the angular position of the surface cleaner 10 relative to the surface 16 to be cleaned about the longitudinal axis 20 (when the surface cleaner 10 is not standing steeply).
The cleaning element 160 is arranged on the cleaning roller holder 60 in a pivotable manner and/or is formed elastically, for example.
In particular, the sweeping element 160 extends into the wrap 42 of the scrub roller unit 18. However, it may not be in contact with or spaced apart from the wrap 42.
With respect to the direction of rotation 158 of the cleaning roller unit 18, when the cleaning roller unit is driven in its rotational movement by the drive motor 28, the surface 16 to be cleaned is followed by first the sweeping element 160, then the guide region 162 of the cleaning roller holder 60, which is (hollow) cylindrical in shape and matches the cleaning roller unit 18, then the feed nozzle 144, then the scraping guide 142 with one or more edge elements 150, and then the cover 154, wherein the region 156 is located between the cover 154 and the scraping guide 142.
In the illustrated embodiment, the surface cleaning machine 10 is constructed without suction. The dirty liquid entrained by the cleaning roller unit 18 is not sucked into the dirty liquid tank arrangement 66 by an additional suction machine, but merely the scrape-off guide 142 provides for feeding the dirty liquid into the dirty liquid tank arrangement 66.
In principle, however, the feed can still be supported by an additional suction machine.
The face cleaner 10 operates as follows:
during a cleaning operation, the dirty tank arrangement 66 is secured to the cleaning head 14 in the hold position 100.
For the cleaning process, the surface cleaner 10 is merely placed on the surface 16 to be cleaned via the cleaning roller unit 18. The drive motor 28 drives the cleaning roller unit 18 in a rotational movement about the (single) rotational axis 58 in a rotational direction 158.
The scrub roller unit 18 is loaded with a scrub liquid from the tank device 34.
Dirt on the surface 16 to be cleaned is wetted and thus prone to its disengageability when the wetted coating 42 of the scrub roller unit 18 is applied to the dirt.
Rotation of the scrub roller unit 18 causes a mechanical action on the dirt on the surface 16 to be cleaned to achieve better disengageability from the surface 16 to be cleaned.
The cleaning element 160 may be used to convey possible coarse dirt to the scrub roller unit 18.
The dirty liquid (dirt particles, cleaning liquid with detached dirt) is entrained by the cleaning roller unit 18 and is detached from the cleaning roller unit 18 on the scrape-off guide 142 and is guided (in particular under the influence of centrifugal forces) into the inlet nozzle 144 and from there into the dirty liquid tank arrangement 66. The scraping guide 142 causes the dirty liquid to be detached from the cover 42 of the cleaning roller unit 18 by scraping.
In particular, the feeding of dirty liquid into the dirty liquid tank arrangement 66 is effected in a suction-free manner.
The dirty tank arrangement 66 is removably positioned on the cleaner head 14.
The flip 102 is provided to ensure that it is in the holding position 100. In the holding position 100, the inlet nozzle 144 of the dirty liquid tank arrangement 66 is oriented in relation to the scraping guide 142 in such a way with respect to the cleaning roller unit 18 that a corresponding disengagement function and feed function are achieved as described above.
The function of the flap 102 as a pressing retainer provides for the edge element 150 or edge elements 150 to be pressed into the coating 42 by a depth T in order to achieve an optimum release function by scraping.
In particular, the scrape guide 142 is disposed on the dirty tank assembly 66 and can be removed from the cleaner head 14 with the dirty tank assembly.
The flap 102 is pushed with its counter element 136 and a locking element 138 arranged on the counter element onto the upper side 130 of the dirty tank arrangement 66 and thereby ensures a holding position in which the above-described relative positioning of the scraper guide 142 with respect to the cleaning roller unit 18 is also achieved.
In the holding position 100, a positive holding of the dirty tank arrangement 66 on the receiving chamber 64 is provided.
To remove the dirty tank arrangement 66 (fig. 3, 6, 7), the flip 102 is opened. The flip cover pivots in the direction of the device body 12. In order to guide the locking element 138 out of the recess 132 with the lateral concavity 134, a corresponding elastic deformation of the counter element 136 must be performed.
When the flip 102 is fully open (fig. 6), the dirty tank arrangement 66 (see fig. 3) may then be removed.
By opening the cover plate 124 of the dirty tank arrangement 66, the dirty tank arrangement can be emptied and, if necessary, cleaned, for example by flushing.
The volume of the dirty tank means 66 is for example about 150ml.
The surface cleaner 10 has a relatively low energy requirement because there is no need to provide a suction machine and the dirty liquid is fed directly from the cleaning roller unit 18 into the dirty liquid tank arrangement 66 with a "minimum stroke".
Thus, the face cleaner 10 can operate optimally with the rechargeable battery device 44.
Wet cleaning of hard floors can be performed with a high degree of automation by means of a surface cleaner according to the invention. The force expenditure during wiping is reduced or eliminated by mechanical assistance via the driven rotating roller 18. Wetting the scrub roller unit 18 enables an operator to perform a cleaning process without touching dirty liquid.
Furthermore, an automatic cleaning of the cleaning roller unit 18 is achieved during a cleaning operation within a certain angle.
A dirty tank arrangement 66 is arranged between the scrub roller unit 18 and the drive motor 28. The longitudinal extension of the inlet mouth 144 parallel to the longitudinal extension axis 116 is parallel to the rotation axis 58 of the cleaning roller unit 18 and transversely and in particular perpendicularly to the motor axis 46. Furthermore, the longitudinal extension axis of the input mouth 144 is transverse and in particular perpendicular to the longitudinal axis 20.
It may be provided that the drive motor 28 is also used to drive one or more suction turbines which are in turn in fluid communication with the interior chamber of the dirty tank arrangement 66 so as to create a negative pressure which improves the delivery of dirty liquid into the dirty tank arrangement.
In principle, the surface cleaning machine 10 can also be operated in mains operation.
The cleaning element 160 may also be disposed on the dirty tank arrangement 66.
Overload protection may be provided. The overload protection is, for example, designed as a mechanical overload protection, which includes, for example, a slip clutch. Alternatively or additionally, an electronic overload protection may be provided, which, for example, performs an overcurrent shutdown.
In normal cleaning operation, the tank 34 is arranged above the cleaning head 14 with respect to the direction of gravitational force. The cleaning liquid can thus flow from the tank arrangement 34 to the cleaning head 14 without a pump under the influence of gravity, in order to load the surface 16 to be cleaned with cleaning liquid directly or indirectly via the cleaning roller unit 18.
The surface cleaning machine 10 can be configured such that the cleaning element 160 is only active if a specific angular position is set relative to the surface 16 to be cleaned relative to the longitudinal axis 20 and in particular the angle between the surface 16 to be cleaned and the longitudinal axis is smaller than a maximum angle.
In the cleaning operation, the surface cleaning machine 10 is guided by a user to move over the surface 16 to be cleaned. Due to the rotational drive of the cleaning roller unit 18, no or only a small effort is required for the forward movement perpendicular to the rotational axis 58. The direction change is pushed by the operator via a corresponding force.
Further examples of cleaning machines 202 (fig. 11-13) include a stationary station 204 (docking station) and a cleaning head 206. The cleaning head 206 is constructed to be self-moving and self-redirecting.
It is possible to automatically perform a cleaning process, and in particular a wiping process, on the surface 16 to be cleaned.
The cleaning head 206 comprises a cleaning roller unit 208 (see fig. 13), a drive motor 210 for the cleaning roller unit 208, battery means 212 for supplying the drive motor 210 with electrical energy, a dirty liquid tank means 214 for containing dirty liquid and tank means 216 for cleaning liquid.
The dirty tank arrangement 214 and/or the tank arrangement 216 for cleaning liquid are arranged in particular in a removable manner on the cleaning head 206.
The stationary station 204 may fulfill various tasks such as storage (memorization) of the cleaning head 206 in a non-cleaning operation; charging the rechargeable battery device 212; discharging or partially discharging the battery device 212 after the cleaning operation is completed; emptying the dirty tank arrangement 214 after the end of the cleaning operation; filling a tank device 216 for cleaning liquid; cleaning of the cleaning roller unit 208 is performed after the cleaning operation is completed.
In particular, means are provided which enable the cleaning head 206 to be returned automatically to the stationary station 204 "on demand", as for example in the event that a lower threshold value for charging the battery means 212 is detected and/or an upper threshold value for the liquid level of the dirty tank means 214 is reached and/or a lower threshold value for the fill tank means 216 is reached.
In one embodiment, an interface is disposed on the cleaning head 206 via which the stationary station 204 can act on the cleaning head 206, for example for charging (or discharging) the battery device 212, or for evacuating the dirty tank device 214, or for filling the tank device 216.
In this case, a single interface 218 with different sub-interfaces may be provided, or a correspondingly separate interface may be provided.
The cleaning head 206 has a body 220 on which the cleaning roller unit 208, the drive motor 210, the battery device 212, the dirty tank device 214, and the tank device 216 for cleaning liquid are respectively arranged.
In an embodiment (fig. 13), the cleaning roller unit 208 of the cleaning head 206 comprises a first cleaning roller 222 having a first orientation 224 of the respective axis of rotation, and a second cleaning roller 226 having a second orientation 228 of the axis of rotation.
The first orientation 224 and the second orientation 228 are at an angle other than 0 ° and 180 ° to each other, that is, they are not coaxial with each other. A wedge-shaped structure is thus obtained, which has a wedge-shaped tip 230 (see fig. 12) at the front end of the cleaning head 206, which is actually or virtually shaped.
It is provided that the first cleaning roller 222 and the second cleaning roller 226, having axes of rotation of the first 224 and second 228 orientations, are driven by the same drive motor 210. For this purpose, a corresponding transmission is provided.
In principle, however, it is also possible to provide each cleaning roller with its own drive motor.
In particular, each cleaning roller 222, 226 of the cleaning roller unit 208 in turn has a sub-roller 232a, 232b, wherein the sub-roller 232a, 232b is arranged on the shaft 234 and the region of action (or of the respective transmission) for the drive motor 210 is arranged on the shaft 234 in relation to the respective sub-roller 232a, 232b on the middle region of the respective first cleaning roller 222 or 226. An intermediate effect is then achieved for each scrub roller 222, 226.
In particular, it is possible, for example, via a corresponding configuration of the transmission, to operate the first cleaning roller 222 and the second cleaning roller 226 at different rotational speeds and, if appropriate, in different rotational directions.
The traveling drive of the cleaning head 206 is effected by a corresponding rotation of the cleaning roller unit 208. The redirection is achieved by different rotational speeds and/or rotational directions for the first cleaning roller 222 and the second cleaning roller 226.
In other aspects, the cleaning head 206 operates as described above.
During a cleaning operation, the cleaner head 206 travels over the surface 216 to be cleaned. The cleaning rollers 222, 226 of the cleaning roller unit 208 are "wetted" by the cleaning liquid of the tank arrangement 216.
Dirt that is released from the surface 16 to be cleaned is entrained by the cleaning rollers 222, 226, released on a scraper that can be securely attached to the dirty tank arrangement 214 in particular, and carried into the dirty tank arrangement 214.
The cleaning head 206 can automatically perform cleaning and, in particular, wiping operations as a "wiping robot" by way of its self-moving and self-redirecting construction.
A further embodiment of a face cleaner cleaning head 240 according to the invention (fig. 14, 15) comprises a body 242. A wiping roller unit 246 which can be driven in a rotary manner about the axis of rotation 224 is arranged on the machine body. A corresponding drive motor (not shown in fig. 14) is provided.
Spaced apart from the wiping roller unit 246, a cleaning unit 250 driven rotatably about a rotation axis 248 is arranged on the machine body 242. The sweeping unit 250 and the wiping roller unit 246 form a cleaning roller unit 252 of the cleaning head 240.
The cleaning roller unit 250 may include a drive motor of its own, or a drive motor for the wiping roller unit 246 may be provided for driving the cleaning roller unit 250.
Especially when separate driving motors for the wiping roller unit 246 and the cleaning roller unit 252 are provided, the devices for driving the wiping roller unit 246 and the cleaning roller unit 250 are provided at the same rotational speed.
A removable dirty tank unit 254 is disposed on the body 242. In an embodiment, the dirty tank arrangement 254 includes a container 256 (tank) for containing dirty liquid.
The container 256 is arranged such that "wet" dirty liquid from the wiping roller unit 246 can be contained in the container 256.
A scraper 258 (scraper guide 258) is associated in particular with the wiping roller unit 246, which serves to strip off the dirt from the coating of the wiping roller unit 246 and to convey it to the container 256.
In an embodiment, the scraper 258 is securely connected to the container 256.
The container 256 of the dirty liquid tank arrangement 254 is arranged such that it can also receive the cleaning material from the cleaning roller unit 250; the sweep is a "dry" dirty liquid provided by the sweep roller unit 250.
The sweeping roller unit 250 is assigned a sweeping edge 262, and the sweeping edge 262 is formed in a ramp shape. The sweep edge 262 provides for delivery of sweep to the container 256.
As described above, in particular, the container 256 can be released from the cleaning head 240.
In particular, it is provided here that the dirty liquid tank arrangement 254 and in particular the reservoir 256 are positioned between the wiping roller unit 246 and the cleaning roller unit 250. It forms a common receptacle for dirty liquid of the cleaning roller unit 252 and in this case of the wiping roller unit 246 and the cleaning roller unit 250.
A tank device 260 for cleaning liquid is arranged on the body 242. Cleaning liquid may be supplied from the tank means, in particular "from above", to the wiping roller unit 246.
When the cleaning head 240 is accurately placed on the surface 16 to be cleaned, the tank arrangement 260 is positioned above the container 256 relative to the surface 16 to be cleaned.
In the exemplary embodiment, it is provided that the cleaning head 240 is supported via the cleaning roller unit 252 and here not only via the wiping roller unit 246 but also via the sweeping roller unit 250 on the surface 16 to be cleaned.
The sweeping roller unit 250 forms a further support means for supporting on the surface 16 to be cleaned, relative to the wiping roller unit 246.
At least part of the displacement drive of the cleaning head 240 on the surface 16 to be cleaned (see below) is effected via a rotary movement of the wiping roller unit 246 and/or the sweeping function unit 250.
Corresponding direction changing means for direction changing may be provided.
In the cleaning head 240, the dirty liquid tank device 254 has a common accommodating portion 256 for dirty liquid from the wiping roller unit 246 and the cleaning roller unit 250.
In a further embodiment of the cleaning head 270 (fig. 16), the cleaning roller unit 272 includes a wiping roller unit 274 and a sweeping roller unit 276. The wiping roller unit 274 and the cleaning roller unit 276 are arranged side by side relative to one another and in particular in contact with one another in such a way that the dirty liquid tank arrangement 278 comprises a common receptacle 280 for dirty liquid from the wiping roller unit 274 and the cleaning roller unit 276.
The contact between the cleaning roller unit 276 and the wiping roller unit 274 here causes, in particular, the brush of the cleaning roller unit 276 to be embedded in the coating of the wiping roller unit 274.
A scraper 282 is provided that separates the dirty liquid from the wiping roller unit 274 and enables transportation into the receptacle 280.
It can be provided here that the cleaning roller unit 276 is arranged relative to the wiping roller unit 274 in such a way that the dirty liquid is transferred from the cleaning roller unit 276 to the wiping roller unit 274, and the "common" dirty liquid is then removed by the scraper 282 and conveyed into the dirty liquid tank arrangement 278.
In other aspects, the cleaning head 270 operates as described above.
In particular, the cleaning head is constructed in a self-moving and self-redirecting manner.
In an alternative or combined embodiment of the cleaning head 290 (fig. 17), a further support device 292 is provided opposite the wiping roller unit 246 in accordance with the wiping roller unit in the cleaning head 240 with the associated dirty tank device 256. The further support device 292 is used to support the cleaning head 290 on the surface 214 to be cleaned.
The further support device 292 is positioned in particular spaced apart from the wiping roller unit 246.
For example, the reservoir 256 for dirty liquid is positioned between the further support device 292 and the wiping roller unit 246.
Further support means 292 are used to support the cleaning head 290 on the surface 16 to be cleaned together with the wiping roller unit 246 (and optionally the sweeping roller unit 250).
For example, the additional support 292 includes one or more sliding elements, such as a slide plate.
It is also possible that the additional support 292 may include one or more rollers.
In principle, the further support device 292 can be driven in such a way that it supports at least the displacement drive of the cleaning head 290 on the surface to be cleaned.
In an embodiment, the further support device 292 is configured to be reversible. This is indicated in fig. 17 by reference numeral 294.
In particular, the controllable redirection is realized, for example, via one or more redirection rollers, wherein the respective redirection drive 296 is provided with an electric motor, in particular.
The self-steering cleaning head 290 may be steered by a steering actuator 296.
For example, the further support device 292 with the direction-changing drive 296 can also be implemented on the cleaning head 240 with the wiping roller unit 246 and the sweeping roller unit 250 or on the cleaning head 270 with the wiping roller unit 274 and the cleaning roller unit 272.
In principle, this can also be achieved on the cleaning head 206.
