Abstract
The invention discloses a measuring tool and a measuring method for measuring dimple depth. Background
In the aircraft full-aircraft pneumatic system, the aircraft surface quality is one of the most important factors in the system, and because the appearance of the whole aircraft is finally formed by riveting assembly, the countersunk fasteners such as aircraft rivets, bolt heads and the like have to meet a certain flush degree with the surface of the aircraft skin, and the flush degree is the height difference between the rivet heads and the bolt heads relative to the surrounding skin. In an aircraft assembly file, the flush degree of a countersunk head fastener and the surface of a skin is required to be higher, and the flush degree requirements of different fasteners, different shapes and different positions are different.
At present, the method for detecting the alignment flatness is that after a fastener is installed in a hole, the fastener is contacted with the surface of a skin by hand, whether the fastener is qualified or not is preliminarily judged by experience feeling, and more accurately, the alignment flatness is measured by a leveling gauge to determine whether the fastener is qualified or not, the steps are relatively complicated, and the use is inconvenient.
Aiming at the situation, a special measuring tool capable of quickly and accurately measuring the depth of the dimple on the surface of the aircraft skin is urgently needed to meet the use requirement of field detection.

The spring 4 below the three-jaw positioning sleeve 3 is used for adjusting the distance between the three-jaw positioning sleeve and a special measuring head, and the three-jaw positioning sleeve 3 is prevented from moving up and down.
When the tool is used, in the first step, a standard socket hole meeting the design requirement is machined in the center of a cylindrical block with the upper end surface and the lower end surface parallel to each other.
And secondly, when in measurement, firstly, the special measuring head 5 on the measuring tool extends into the standard dimple hole, and after the three-jaw positioning sleeve 3 is tightly pressed with the surface of the cylindrical block, the measured value displayed by the digital display scale 1 is zeroed to determine the depth of the standard dimple.
Thirdly, a special measuring head 5 of the measuring tool extends into a rivet countersink hole 7 to be measured, reading is carried out after the three-jaw positioning sleeve 3 is tightly pressed with the surface of the skin, and whether the difference value of the actual socket depth and the standard socket depth is within the tolerance range is measured. Reading the display screen of the digital display scale 1, wherein if the reading is 0 or within the tolerance, the pit depth just meets the process requirement; if the reading is negative and exceeds the tolerance range, the depth of the fossa is too shallow; if the reading is positive and exceeds the tolerance range, the pit depth is too deep and does not meet the process requirement.
If other standard fasteners need to be measured, only the three-jaw positioning sleeve 3 and the special measuring head 5 need to be replaced correspondingly, and the steps are repeated.
