[ details of embodiments of the present disclosure ]
Specific examples of the protector and the wire harness according to the present disclosure will be described below with reference to the drawings. The present invention is not limited to these examples, but is defined by the claims, and all changes that come within the meaning and range of equivalency of the claims are intended to be embraced therein. In addition, in the drawings, a part of the structure is sometimes enlarged or simplified for convenience of explanation. Further, the dimensional ratio of each portion may be different from the actual one. In addition, the parallel in the present disclosure does not mean parallel in a strict sense, but means as follows: if the range is regarded as parallel, the range has a width within a range where the effect of the present invention is exerted. In addition, the vertical in the present disclosure does not mean vertical in a strict sense, but means as follows: if it is a range that can be regarded as vertical, it has a width within a range that exerts the effect of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 1 and 3, a wire harness 10 according to the present embodiment includes: a 1 st electric wire 11 and a 2 nd electric wire 12 wired in parallel with each other along an assembly plane P of a vehicle body; a protector 13 protecting the 1 st electric wire 11 and restricting a path thereof; and a fixing member 14 for fixing the 2 nd electric wire 12 to the protector 13.
The 1 st electric wire 11 is configured such that at least one electric wire passes through the cylindrical exterior member. The 2 nd electric wire 12 is configured such that at least one electric wire passes through the cylindrical exterior member. A portion of the 1 st electric wire 11 and the 2 nd electric wire 12 in the longitudinal direction has a section arranged substantially parallel to each other, and in the parallel section, the 2 nd electric wire 12 is coupled to the protector 13 by the fixing member 14.
As shown in fig. 1, 2 and 3, the protector 13 is an injection-molded article made of, for example, a synthetic resin material. The protector 13 includes a top wall 21 as a 1 st wall portion, a pair of side walls 22 and 23 extending from the top wall 21, and a fixed portion 24 formed on an outer surface of the side wall 22. In the drawing, an X axis of mutually orthogonal XYZ axes indicates a longitudinal direction X of the protector 13, a Y axis indicates a width direction Y of the protector 13, and a Z axis indicates a height direction Z of the protector 13. The 1 st electric wire 11 passes through the protector 13 along the longitudinal direction X. The protector 13 is disposed so as to face the assembly plane P of the vehicle body in the height direction Z.
The side walls 22 and 23 extend in substantially the same direction (height direction Z) from both edges of the top wall 21 in the width direction Y. The side walls 22 and 23 face each other in the width direction Y of the protector 13. Each of the side walls 22 and 23 of the present embodiment has a plate shape perpendicular to the width direction Y. That is, the inner and outer side surfaces of the side wall 22 are flat surfaces perpendicular to the width direction Y. The inner side surface of the side wall 22 is a surface of the side wall 22 on the side of the housing space 25 for housing the 1 st electric wire 11, and the outer side surface of the side wall 22 is a back surface of the inner side surface.
As shown in fig. 3, the protector 13 is fixed to the assembly plane P in a posture in which the top wall 21 is substantially parallel to the assembly plane P. Further, as an example of a fixing method of the protector 13 to the assembly plane P, fixing with an adhesive tape or the like is given.
In a state where the protector 13 is fixed to the assembly plane P, the open ends 22a and 23a (projecting distal ends) of the side walls 22 and 23 on the opposite side to the top wall 21 are opposed to each other with a little space therebetween with respect to the assembly plane P (or abut against the assembly plane P). That is, the protector 13 is formed in a shape in which one surface (one side surface in the height direction Z) in the direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction is opened, and is disposed so that the opened surface (one side surface in the height direction Z) is closed by the assembly surface P. The 1 st electric wire 11 passes through the housing space 25 formed by the top wall 21 and the side walls 22 and 23 along the longitudinal direction X. The 2 nd electric wire 12 parallel to the 1 st electric wire 11 is disposed outside the housing space 25 of the protector 13.
The assembly plane P closes the open side of the storage space 25 (the opposite side of the ceiling wall 21), and therefore, it is not necessary for the open ends 22a and 23a of the side walls 22 and 23 to abut against the assembly plane P without a gap. When the protector 13 is disposed with a space between the open ends 22a, 23a and the assembly plane P, the open side of the housing space 25 may be closed by the assembly plane P to such an extent that the 1 st electric wire 11 does not come off from between the open ends 22a, 23a and the assembly plane P.
(fixed part 24 of protector 13)
As shown in fig. 1, 2, and 3, the fixed portion 24 formed on the outer surface of the side wall 22 is configured to be able to fix the fixing member 14.
The fixed portion 24 includes a fitting wall portion 26 facing the outer side surface of the side wall 22 in the width direction Y. The fitting wall portion 26 is separated from the side wall 22 in the width direction Y, and an insertion space S into which a part of the fixing member 14 is inserted is formed between the outer side surface of the side wall 22 and the fitting wall portion 26. The fitting wall portion 26 of the present embodiment has a plate shape parallel to the side wall 22.
As shown in fig. 2 and 3, the mounting wall 26 is connected to the outer surface of the side wall 22 by the 1 st connecting portion 27 and the 2 nd connecting portion 28. The 1 st coupling portion 27 and the 2 nd coupling portion 28 extend from the outer side surface of the side wall 22 in the width direction Y. The 1 st coupling portion 27 is connected to a lower end portion (an end portion on the open end 22a side of the side wall 22) of the mounting wall portion 26 in the height direction Z. The 1 st coupling portion 27 closes a lower end portion in the height direction Z of the insertion space S. Further, the 2 nd coupling portion 28 is connected to one end portion of the fitting wall portion 26 in the longitudinal direction X. The 2 nd coupling part 28 closes one end of the insertion space S in the longitudinal direction X.
That is, the fitting wall portion 26 extends from the 1 st connecting portion 27 toward the ceiling wall 21 in the height direction Z, and the end portion of the fitting wall portion 26 on the ceiling wall 21 side in the height direction Z is formed as an open end portion. The insertion space S between the fitting wall 26 and the side wall 22 is open on the top wall 21 side in the height direction Z. Thus, in the insertion space S of the fixed portion 24, a part of the fixing member 14 can be inserted in the assembling direction D from the top wall 21 side toward the assembling plane P.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the fitting wall portion 26 has a protruding wall 29 protruding in the width direction Y. The protruding wall 29 is formed at the end of the fitting wall 26 opposite to the 2 nd coupling part 28 in the longitudinal direction X. Further, the projecting wall 29 projects outward in the width direction Y (on the opposite side of the insertion space S) from the fitting wall 26. The projecting wall 29 of the present embodiment is formed over the entire height direction Z at the end in the longitudinal direction X of the mounting wall 26.
(fixing member 14)
As shown in fig. 1 and 3, the fixing member 14 attached to the attachment wall portion 26 of the fixed portion 24 includes: a fixing portion 31 fixed to the fixed portion 24 of the protector 13; and a holding portion 32 for holding the 2 nd wire 12.
The fixing portion 31 is a substantially U-shaped alligator clip having an open end 31a, and the fitting wall portion 26 is fixed so as to be sandwiched in the width direction Y by a pair of sandwiching pieces 33 included in the fixing portion 31. The fixing portion 31 of the present embodiment includes: a substantially U-shaped metal portion 34 having a plurality of locking claws 34a locked to the mounting wall portion 26; and a covering portion 35 covering the metal portion 34. In addition, the fixing portion 31 is formed of a synthetic resin material except for the metal portion 34.
The fixing portion 31 is attached to the attachment wall portion 26 in the attachment direction D from the top wall 21 side toward the attachment plane P. At this time, the fitting wall portion 26 is inserted between the pair of sandwiching pieces 33 of the fixing portion 31. Further, one of the sandwiching pieces 33 is inserted into the insertion space S between the fitting wall portion 26 and the side wall 22 along the assembling direction D.
A protruding portion 36 extending outward in the width direction Y (away from the protector 13) is formed in the covering portion 35 of the fixing portion 31. The holding portion 32 is integrally formed at the tip of the projecting portion 36. That is, the covering portion 35 and the holding portion 32 of the fixing portion 31 are coupled to each other by the protruding portion 36.
The holding portion 32 of the present embodiment is configured like a binding tape. That is, the holding portion 32 includes a head portion 37 and a band portion 38 extending from the head portion 37. A head 37 provided at a longitudinal end of the band portion 38 is formed at a distal end of the extension portion 36. The band 38 is wound around the outer periphery of the 2 nd wire 12 and fixed to the head 37. Thereby, the 2 nd electric wire 12 is held by the holding portion 32.
In a state where the fixing member 14 is assembled to the mounting wall portion 26 of the protector 13 fixed to the assembly plane P of the vehicle body, the head portion 37 of the holding portion 32 is offset toward the assembly plane P in the height direction Z with respect to the fixing portion 31. That is, in the assembled state of the fixing member 14, the center position in the height direction Z of the head portion 37 is located closer to the assembly plane P than the center position in the height direction Z of the fixing portion 31.
The operation of the present embodiment will be described.
The protector 13 is disposed along the assembly plane P such that the open side of the housing space 25 opposite to the top wall 21 is closed by the assembly plane P of the vehicle body. Then, the fixing portion 31 of the fixing member 14 holding the 2 nd electric wire 12 is assembled to the mounting wall portion 26 of the protector 13 disposed on the assembly plane P in the assembly direction D (in the present embodiment, the direction along the height direction Z) from the top wall 21 side toward the assembly plane P. Thereby, the 2 nd electric wire 12 is fixed to the protector 13. Therefore, even when a protector for restricting a path cannot be attached to the 2 nd electric wire 12 due to restrictions on the vehicle body side or the like, the displacement of the 2 nd electric wire 12 can be suppressed, and as a result, the interference between the 2 nd electric wire 12 and peripheral components and the generation of abnormal sounds can be suppressed.
The effects of the present embodiment will be described.
(1) The fixed portion 24 is configured to be able to attach the fixing member 14 in the assembly direction D from the top wall 21 side toward the assembly plane P. According to this configuration, when the fixed portion 24 of the protector 13 is attached to the fixing member 14 in a state where the protector 13 is disposed on the assembly plane P of the vehicle body, the fingers of the operator or the like are less likely to interfere with the assembly plane P of the vehicle body, and as a result, the assemblability of the wire harness 10 is improved.
(2) The fixed portion 24 has a fitting wall portion 26 disposed to face the outer side surface of the side wall 22. The end portion of the fitting wall portion 26 on the top wall 21 side is configured as an open end portion. According to this configuration, the fixing member 14 can be attached to the attachment wall portion 26 of the fixed portion 24 in the attachment direction D from the top wall 21 side toward the attachment plane P.
(3) The fixing member 14 has a pair of sandwiching pieces 33 sandwiching the fitting wall portion 26, and an insertion space S into which one of the pair of sandwiching pieces 33 can be inserted in the assembling direction D is provided between the outer side surface of the side wall 22 and the fitting wall portion 26. With this configuration, the fixing member 14 having the pair of sandwiching pieces 33 can be attached to the attachment wall portion 26 in the attachment direction D from the top wall 21 side toward the attachment plane P.
(4) The mounting wall portion 26 includes a 2 nd coupling portion 28 and a projecting wall 29 as projecting walls extending in a direction (width direction Y) along the facing direction of the mounting wall portion 26 and the side wall 22. The 2 nd coupling portion 28 and the projecting wall 29 are configured to be able to abut against the sandwiching piece 33 attached to the attachment wall 26 in a direction (longitudinal direction X) intersecting the attachment direction D. According to this configuration, the movement of one side of the sandwiching piece 33 in the longitudinal direction X is restricted by the 2 nd coupling portion 28, and the movement of the other side of the sandwiching piece 33 in the longitudinal direction X is restricted by the protruding wall 29. As a result, the sandwiching piece 33 can be prevented from falling off from the mounting wall portion 26.
(5) The fixed portion 24 includes a 1 st coupling portion 27, and the 1 st coupling portion 27 couples the end portion of the fitting wall portion 26 on the opposite side of the open end portion and the side wall 22. Accordingly, the fitting wall portion 26 that is disposed to face the outer side surface of the side wall 22 and has an open end at the end on the top wall 21 side can be appropriately configured.
This embodiment can be implemented with the following modifications. The present embodiment and the following modifications can be combined and implemented within a range not technically contradictory to each other.
■ the assembling direction D of the fixing portion 31 to the fixed portion 24 is not necessarily perpendicular to the assembling plane P of the vehicle body. The assembling direction D may be a direction inclined with respect to the assembling plane P as long as it is a direction from the top wall 21 side toward the assembling plane P.
■ the configuration of the body portion (the ceiling wall 21 and the side walls 22, 23) of the protector 13 is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and may be changed as appropriate depending on the configuration of the vehicle body side. For example, the top wall 21 and the side walls 22 and 23 may be formed in a curved shape as viewed in the longitudinal direction X. That is, the shape of the main body of the protector 13 viewed from the longitudinal direction X may be a semicircular arc or the like.
■ the configuration of the fixed portion 24 and the like is not limited to the above embodiment, and can be changed as appropriate. For example, the projecting wall 29 may project from the fitting wall 26 inward in the width direction Y (toward the insertion space S). Further, for example, the following may be configured: a coupling portion for coupling the fitting wall portion 26 and the side wall 22 is formed at an end portion of the fitting wall portion 26 on the opposite side of the 2 nd coupling portion 28 in the longitudinal direction X, and the fixed portion 24 is formed in a substantially U shape as viewed from the height direction Z. The coupling structure of mounting wall portion 26 to side wall 22 is not limited to first coupling portion 27 and second coupling portion 28 of the above-described embodiment, and may be appropriately changed as long as the top wall 21 side of mounting wall portion 26 is open.
■ the fixing structure of the fixing portion 31 to the fixed portion 24 is not limited to the crocodile clip type of the above embodiment, and can be modified as appropriate. For example, an arrow-shaped fixing portion may be provided to be inserted in the assembling direction D into an assembling hole formed on the protector 13 side.
■ the structure of the holding portion 32 of the fixing member 14 is not limited to the band shape of the above-described embodiment, and for example, the 2 nd electric wire 12 may be fixed to the fixing member 14 with an adhesive tape.
