Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are some, not all, embodiments of the present invention. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a flowchart of an edge service switching method according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 1, the method for switching edge services includes the following steps:
step 101, an edge service switching event of a terminal is obtained.
It should be noted that data of the terminal is usually transmitted to the server, and with the rapid development of the internet and its application, it is difficult for a single server to support the operation of the whole network system, so a group of servers with a two-to-three layer architecture is also usually adopted, where the first layer directly connected with the terminal is the edge server. The edge service switching method provided by the embodiment of the invention can be applied to an edge management system.
It should be noted that, when the location of the terminal moves, the adjacent edge server also changes, and thus, the problem of switching between the terminal and the edge server is solved. Events such as terminal network location updates and/or edge data center load changes may be considered edge service handoff events. It can be understood that when the server detects an update of the network location of the terminal or detects an event such as a change in load of the edge data center, that is, an event of switching the edge service of the terminal is obtained.
And 102, determining a current edge server accessed by the terminal and a target edge server to be accessed based on the edge service switching event.
The edge management system may be in wired connection with a plurality of edge servers, or the edge management system may include a plurality of edge servers in wired connection therewith. When the edge management system obtains the edge service switching request of the terminal, the current edge server accessed by the terminal and the target edge server to be accessed can be determined according to the change of the geographic position of the terminal. For example, an initial position and an end position of the change of the geographic position of the terminal are obtained, and then a current edge server corresponding to the initial position before the change of the geographic position of the terminal and a target edge server corresponding to the end position after the change of the geographic position of the terminal can be determined.
Optionally, the step 102 may further include:
determining a target edge data center and a current edge server accessed by the terminal based on the edge service switching event; and acquiring the service type of the edge service, and determining a target edge server matched with the service type in the target edge data center.
The edge data center may refer to a virtual system architecture in an edge management system, and the edge management system may include a plurality of edge data centers; and the edge data center may include a plurality of different types of edge servers.
It can be understood that the related edge service can be determined according to the edge service switching event, and further, the service type of the edge service can be determined. For example, the edge service switching event is a payment application switching event, and then the service type of the edge service is determined to be a payment service, and further a target edge server matched with the service type in the target edge data center can be determined according to the service type of the edge service.
It should be noted that, the acquiring a service type of an edge service and determining a target edge server in a target edge data center, which is matched with the service type, includes:
acquiring the service type of the edge service, and judging whether an edge server matched with the service type exists in the target edge data center; if the matched edge servers exist, determining any one of the matched edge servers as a target edge server; and if no matched edge server exists, constructing an edge server matched with the service type in the target edge data center, and determining the constructed edge server as the target edge server.
Although the edge data center may include a plurality of different types of edge servers, after determining the service type of the target edge data center and the edge service, the edge management system needs to first determine whether the target edge data center has an edge server matching the service type. For example, if the service type corresponding to the edge service is the payment-type application a, the target edge data center does not necessarily have an edge server matching the payment-type application a. If the target edge data center does not have an edge server matched with the payment application A, the edge management system can construct an edge server matched with the payment application A in the target edge data center and determine the newly constructed edge server as the target edge server, so that the edge management system can realize edge service switching.
It is understood that the target edge data center may include a plurality of edge servers matching the service types of the edge services, and any one of the edge servers may be determined as the target edge server to ensure that the edge service switching is realized.
Step 103, sending a service switching instruction to the terminal based on the current edge server, where the service switching instruction includes an identifier and/or an address used for indicating the target edge server.
It can be understood that, after determining the target edge server, the edge management system can send the identifier and/or address of the target edge server to the current edge server, and then send the identifier and/or address of the target edge server to the terminal through the current edge server, so that the terminal can implement edge service switching, that is, can release a service session with the current edge server, and establish a service session with the target edge server.
Optionally, before the step 103, the method may further include:
sending migration information to the current edge server; the migration information includes an identity of the terminal and an identifier and/or an address for indicating the target edge server.
It is understood that the edge server will usually establish communication connections with multiple terminals at the same time, and therefore it is necessary to specify which terminal initiates the edge service switching event. For example, when the edge management system monitors an edge service switching event of the terminal B based on the location update signaling of the terminal B, the identity of the terminal B may be obtained, and if the terminal is a mobile phone, the identity may be a mobile phone serial number, a mobile phone number, or the like; furthermore, after determining the current edge server accessed by the terminal, the edge management system writes the identity of the terminal into the migration information and sends the migration information to the current edge server, so that the current edge server can determine which terminal performs edge service switching.
In addition, after the edge management system determines a target edge server to be accessed according to an edge service switching event sent by the terminal, the identifier and/or address of the target edge server are/is written into the migration information, and the migration information is sent to the current edge server, so that the current edge server determines which target edge server the terminal is to be accessed to avoid switching errors.
Optionally, after sending the migration information to the current edge server, the method further includes:
acquiring context information accessed by the terminal based on the current edge server according to the identity of the terminal, and sending the context information accessed by the terminal to the target edge server; the context information accessed by the terminal comprises access authentication information of the terminal, state data and cache data of an access service.
It can be understood that after the edge management system sends the migration information to the current edge server, the current edge server can determine which terminal needs to perform the edge service switching according to the identity of the terminal, and then the edge server can obtain the context information accessed by the terminal, and can send the context information accessed by the terminal to the edge management system, and then the edge management system sends the context information accessed by the terminal to the target server. It should be noted that the context information accessed by the terminal includes access authentication information of the terminal, state data of the access service, and cache data, and data generated when the terminal accesses the current edge server can be determined through the information, so as to ensure that the information of the terminal service is synchronized after the terminal accesses the target edge server, and avoid the situation of service session disconnection.
Or, the edge management system may also send, according to the identity of the terminal, indication information to the current edge server, where the indication information is used to indicate the current edge server to synchronize context information accessed by the terminal to the target edge server. That is to say, after determining the identity of the terminal, the edge management system may send the context information accessed by the terminal to the current edge server, and then the current edge server may directly send the context information accessed by the terminal to the target edge server without passing through the edge management system after determining the context information accessed by the terminal, so that the information interaction between the current edge server and the target edge server is more convenient and rapid, and the situation of service callback disconnection due to multiple times of sending of information is avoided.
According to the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the invention, an edge management system determines a current edge server accessed by a terminal and a target edge server to be accessed by the terminal by acquiring an edge service switching event of the terminal and based on the edge service switching event; and then sending a service switching instruction to the terminal based on the current edge server, wherein the service switching instruction comprises the identification and/or the address of the target edge server. Therefore, the situation that the service session of the terminal is disconnected with the service session of the server can be avoided, the continuity of the service session is ensured, and better service session support can be provided for the terminal.
In addition, the service session switching logic is controlled through the edge management system, the edge server and the edge data center do not need to provide dynamic session routing support, and the session transfer process does not need to be maintained, and the service session switching logic can be decoupled from the edge data center, so that the service switching complexity is reduced.
