The invention also provides an installation method for the faucet assembly, which comprises the following steps: s41, fixedly connecting the water tap 22 with the upper part of the connecting rod 20; s42, inserting the lower part of the connecting rod 20 into the mounting hole of the table to be mounted so that the second rod 202 is positioned below the table to be mounted 21; and S43, rotating the water faucet to enable the second rod below the to-be-installed table to move towards the to-be-installed table and finally contact the bottom surface of the to-be-installed table, so that the to-be-installed table is clamped between the water faucet and the second rod, and the water faucet assembly and the to-be-installed table are fixed relatively.
As shown in fig. 13A, the present invention also provides a faucet assembly comprising: a base 10 located above the mounting hole of the table 11 to be mounted, contacting the top surface of the table 11 to be mounted, the base 10 having an insertion hole; a water tap 13 fixedly installed above the base, a water inlet pipe 14 of the water tap being accommodated in the insertion hole of the base and the installation hole of the table to be installed; a fastener 15 passing through the insertion hole and the mounting hole; the locking strip 12 is positioned below the mounting hole of the table to be mounted, the locking strip 12 is rotatably connected to the fastener 15 in the vertical direction, so that the end part of the locking strip 12 is close to or far away from the fastener 15, and when the end part of the locking strip is positioned at a position A close to the fastener, the locking strip has a first maximum width in the direction parallel to the bottom surface of the table to be mounted, and the first maximum width is smaller than the diameter of the mounting hole; when the end of the locking strip is located at a position B far away from the fastener, the locking strip is in contact with the bottom surface of the to-be-installed table, the locking strip has a second maximum width in a direction parallel to the bottom surface of the to-be-installed table, and the second maximum width is larger than the diameter of the installation hole.
According to the above embodiment, in the faucet assembly provided by the present invention, the locking strip 12 is rotatably connected to the fastening member 15 in the vertical direction, so that the end of the locking strip 12 is close to or away from the fastening member 15, when the locking strip cannot pass through the mounting hole of the table to be mounted due to the thickness of the table to be mounted or the length of the locking strip, the locking strip 12 can be rotated to the position where the end is close to the fastening member, and at this time, the maximum width of the locking strip 12 in the direction parallel to the bottom surface of the table to be mounted is smaller than the diameter of the mounting hole, so that the locking strip 12 can smoothly pass through the mounting hole of the table to be mounted, and the faucet assembly is more conveniently mounted. When the locking strip 12 is rotated to a position where the end part is located close to the fastener, the maximum width of the locking strip 12 in the direction parallel to the bottom surface of the table to be installed may be smaller than the diameter of the insertion hole of the base, so that the locking strip 12 smoothly passes through the insertion hole of the base. When the installation is carried out, the fastening piece is connected with the locking strip, then the fastening piece and the locking strip penetrate through the insertion hole of the base and the installation hole of the platform to be installed, and finally the fastening piece is fixed, so that the installation process is simplified.
According to an embodiment of the invention, the locking strip is provided with a connecting part at the location of the connection with the fastener, so that the locking strip is rotatable in the vertical direction relative to the fastener.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 13B, the locking strip 12 may be plural.
