Detailed Description
To make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the embodiments of the present application clearer, the embodiments of the present application will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. However, it will be appreciated by those of ordinary skill in the art that in the examples of the present application, numerous technical details are set forth in order to provide a better understanding of the present application. However, the technical solution claimed in the present application can be implemented without these technical details and various changes and modifications based on the following embodiments. The following embodiments are divided for convenience of description, and should not constitute any limitation to the specific implementation manner of the present application, and the embodiments may be mutually incorporated and referred to without contradiction.
A first embodiment of the present application relates to a data transmission method applied to a main device of a VxLAN network, where the VxLAN network includes the main device and a standby device, as shown in fig. 1, which specifically includes the following steps.
Specifically, in the VxLAN network, a downlink data message sent from a remote device is a data message received by a host device, the data message may be a user data message or a network protocol message, and the message may be a three-layer message or a two-layer message.
And 102, constructing a first forwarding table according to the data message, and sending the first forwarding table to the standby equipment so that the standby equipment forms a second forwarding table, wherein an outlet of the first forwarding table is a network element, and an outlet of the second forwarding table is a main equipment.
Specifically, when a primary device receives a data message, a forwarding table is first constructed according to the received data message, after the construction of the forwarding table is completed, the primary device first stores the forwarding table on the primary device, and then sends the forwarding table to a backup device by adopting a certain synchronization mechanism, wherein the constructed forwarding table includes an exit, and the exit specifies the exit of the message, namely: the message is sent to the next target through which exit, wherein the data message refers to a message capable of establishing a forwarding table through learning, the forwarding table established on the primary device is a dynamic table, the exit of the forwarding table on the primary device is a network element, the forwarding table synchronized by the standby device is a static table, and the exit of the forwarding table on the standby device is the primary device; taking the data message of arp requesting the gateway address (source IP:1.1.1.2/24, source mac:00:00:00:11:11:11) as an example, the constructed forwarding table comprises arp, a forwarding table (arp: IP:1.1.1.2/24(mac:00:00:00:11:11:11)) and a mac forwarding table (mac:00:00:00:11: 11). Furthermore, it should be noted that: the process of synchronizing the forwarding table can adopt the synchronization based on an ICBG protocol to establish an ICBG channel between the main equipment and the standby equipment, and can also adopt the VxLAN tunnel established between the main equipment and the standby equipment to establish other channels which can be used for transmission.
And 103, sending the data message to the network element according to the outlet of the first forwarding table.
Specifically, the main device sends a data message according to an outlet of the constructed forwarding table, the main device is connected with the network element through a main link, when the outlet of the forwarding table on the main device is the network element, the main device sends the received data message to the network element through the main link, and when the VxLAN network normally works, because the outlet of the forwarding table on the standby device is the main device, the main device needs to send the data message sent by the standby device to the network element in addition to the data message received by the main device from the remote device.
Compared with the prior art, the method and the device have the advantages that the primary device receives the data message, constructs a first forwarding table according to the data message, and sends the first forwarding table to the standby device so that the standby device forms a second forwarding table, wherein an outlet of the first forwarding table is a network element, and an outlet of the second forwarding table is the primary device; and sending the data message to the network element according to the outlet of the first forwarding table. The forwarding table is sent to the standby equipment after the forwarding table is built by the main equipment, so that the standby equipment can normally transmit the data message, the stability and the reliability of the VxLAN network are ensured, and the data transmission efficiency is improved.
A second embodiment of the present application relates to a data transmission method, which is substantially the same as the first embodiment, except that the determination of the master and standby roles of the devices is further required before receiving a data packet, as shown in fig. 2, specifically including the following steps.
Specifically, in the VxLAN network, a plurality of devices are connected with one network element through an access link, although the access link has a role of master/slave, the devices connected with the access link are not divided into master/slave roles, so that the master/slave roles of the devices need to be determined before receiving a downlink data packet; the main and standby roles of the device are divided in two ways: the method comprises the steps that a network element sends a test message to equipment to determine and sends the test message to the equipment through a VxLAN forwarding domain to determine; when one device is determined to be the main device, the other devices are all standby devices.
The method comprises the following steps of sending a test message to equipment through a network element to determine the main role and the standby role: the network element sends a test message to the equipment through the access link; the device capable of receiving the test packet can determine that the access link between the device and the network element is a main access link, that is: the device identifies itself as a main device, the device constructs a forwarding table according to the test message after receiving the test message, then sends the forwarding table to other devices, the other devices determine itself as a standby device after receiving the forwarding table, and simultaneously determine that an access link between the device and a network element is a standby access link, and makes a receiving mark for the received forwarding table, so as to inform the device that the forwarding table is not generated by the device, and meanwhile, the standby device also sends a response message to the main device, wherein the purpose of sending the message is to inform the main device that the forwarding table is received, so that the main device knows the role of the device. Further, it is also noted that: after the main and standby roles are determined in the above manner, the roles of the main access link and the standby access link change due to the configuration information of the network element, and at this time, the device capable of receiving the test message determines that the local access link is the main one and the other devices are the standby access links correspondingly on the device by only sending the test message to the device through the access link.
Sending a test message to the equipment through the VxLAN network forwarding domain to determine that: when a remote device sends a test message to the device through a VxLAN network forwarding domain, the remote device sends a protocol transceiving packet module when receiving the test message, the protocol transceiving packet module converts the test message into a protocol request message, the protocol request message is forwarded as a Broadcast & unknown-Unicast & Multicast message (Broadcast & unknown-Multicast, BUM) in the VxLAN forwarding domain, the VxLAN forwarding domain forwards the protocol request message to the device, the device sends the received protocol request message to a network element through an access link, if the network element receives the protocol request message through a certain access link and sends a response message to the device connected with the network element, the device identifies itself as a main device after receiving the returned response message, and identifies the access link between the device and the network element as a main access link; if the network element receives the protocol request message through a certain access link, but discards the received protocol request message, at this time, the device connected with the access link does not receive the response message sent by the network element, and then the device itself is identified as a standby device, and the access link with the network element is identified as a standby access link.
Specifically, this step is substantially the same as step 101 in the first embodiment, and is not repeated here.
Specifically, this step is substantially the same as step 102 in the first embodiment, and is not repeated here.
And step 204, sending the data message to the network element according to the outlet of the first forwarding table.
Specifically, this step is substantially the same as step 103 in the first embodiment, and is not repeated here.
Compared with the prior art, the method and the device for transmitting the data message in the VxLAN network have the advantages that on the basis of the first embodiment, the main and standby roles of the device can be determined in advance before the data message is transmitted, the device can directly transmit the data message after receiving the message, the main and standby roles of the device do not need to be determined again, and the transmission efficiency of the data message in the VxLAN network can be further improved.
A third embodiment of the present application relates to a data transmission method, which is substantially the same as the first embodiment, except that the data transmission method when the master device receives a fault in the process of sending a data packet to the network element in step 103 is described, and as shown in fig. 3, the method specifically includes the following steps.
Specifically, this step is substantially the same as step 101 in the first embodiment, and is not repeated here.
Specifically, this step is substantially the same as step 102 in the first embodiment, and is not repeated here.
Specifically, when the whole network can work normally, the exit of the forwarding table on the primary device is the network element, and the exit of the forwarding table on the standby device is the primary device; when the main device sends a data message to the network element, a fast link detection mechanism is adopted to detect a failure of a main access link between the main device and the network element, after the main device receives the failure information of the main access link, firstly, an outlet forwarded by the main device is updated to be standby equipment, and then, a switching request is sent to the standby equipment, so that the standby equipment updates an outlet forwarded by the standby equipment to be the network element, the switching work of the main device and the standby equipment is completed, namely, the original main device is switched to be the standby equipment, and the original standby equipment is switched to be the main device.
Specifically, when the main device receives a main link failure, both the main device and the standby device may receive a message to be forwarded, and when the network is normal, as shown in fig. 5(a), the device 1 is the main device, the device 2 is the standby device, and the data message may be sent to the device 1, the device 1 to the network element, or the device 2, the device 2 to the device 1, and then the device 1 to the network element; when the main link fails, the egress of the forwarding table is updated so that the egress of the data packet is correspondingly changed, as shown in fig. 5(b), at this time, the primary and standby roles of the devices have changed, the device 1 is a standby device, the device 2 is a primary device, the data packet may be sent to the device 2, the device 2 is sent to the network element, or the data packet may be sent to the device 1, the device 1 is sent to the device 2, and then the device 2 is sent to the network element.
Compared with the prior art, according to the embodiment of the application, on the basis of the first embodiment, when the primary device receives the fault information, the forwarding table does not need to be reconstructed, the conversion of the primary and secondary roles of the devices can be completed only by modifying the outlets of the forwarding tables on the primary device and the secondary device, the forwarding work of the message data can be normally performed, the rapid switching of the primary and secondary networks during network faults is completed, the message can be normally transmitted in the network, and the reliability of the network is improved.
A fourth embodiment of the present application relates to a data transmission method applied to a standby device of a VxLAN network, where the VxLAN network includes a main device and a standby device, as shown in fig. 4, and specifically includes the following steps.
Specifically, the data message received by the standby device is a downlink data message sent from the remote device, the data message may be a user data message or a network protocol message, and the message may be a three-layer message or a two-layer message; the first forwarding table received by the standby device is sent by the master device through a certain synchronization mechanism, wherein the first forwarding table further comprises an exit of the first forwarding table in the synchronization process.
Specifically, when the standby device receives the first forwarding table, the egress of the first forwarding table is modified to the primary device, and a second forwarding table on the standby device is formed, wherein the second forwarding table is substantially similar to the first forwarding table, except that the egress of the two forwarding tables is different.
And step 403, sending the data message to the master device according to the outlet.
Specifically, after the standby device forms the second forwarding table, because the exit of the second forwarding table is the primary device, the standby device directs the received data packet to the primary device according to the exit of the second forwarding table, so that the primary device sends the data packet to the network element.
Compared with the prior art, the standby equipment receives the data message and the first forwarding table, and forms a second forwarding table according to the first forwarding table, wherein an outlet of the second forwarding table is the primary equipment, and the data message is sent to the primary equipment according to the outlet. The standby equipment can synchronize with a forwarding table of the main equipment, the forwarding table of the standby equipment is formed according to the forwarding table of the main equipment, and after the forwarding table is formed, the data message can be normally transmitted and received, so that the standby equipment can normally work in a main standby mode of the VxLAN network, and the transmission efficiency of the VxLAN network data message can be improved.
A fifth embodiment of the present application relates to a data transmission method, which is substantially the same as the fourth embodiment, except that the data transmission method when the standby device receives a failure in the process of sending a data packet to the master device in step 403 is described, and specifically includes the following steps as shown in fig. 6.
Specifically, this step is substantially the same as step 501 in the fourth embodiment, and is not repeated here.
Specifically, this step is substantially the same as step 502 in the fourth embodiment, and is not repeated here.
Specifically, when the whole network can work normally, the exit of the forwarding table on the standby device is the primary device; when the backup device sends a data message to the primary device, a fast link detection mechanism is adopted to detect a transmission link fault between the backup device and the primary device, the backup device considers that the primary device is faulty after receiving information of the transmission link fault, at the moment, the backup device updates an outlet of the second forwarding table to a network element, and completes switching work of the primary device and the backup device, namely, the original primary device is switched to the backup device, and the original backup device is switched to the primary device, but the original primary device fails, and cannot be restarted after the primary device and the backup device are switched.
Specifically, when the backup device receives a transmission link failure with the main device, and the transmission link failure between the backup device and the main device is caused by the main device failure, only the backup device can receive a data packet at this time, and when the network is normal, as shown in fig. 5(a), the device 1 is the main device, the device 2 is the backup device, and the data packet can be sent to the device 1, the device 1 to the network element, or the device 2, the device 2 to the device 1, and then the device 1 to the network element; when the primary device fails, the egress of the forwarding table is updated, so that the egress of the data packet is correspondingly changed, as shown in fig. 5(c), the data packet can only be sent to the secondary device, and the secondary device sends the data packet to the network element.
Compared with the prior art, on the basis of the fourth embodiment, when the primary device fails, the standby device does not need to reconstruct the forwarding table, and only needs to modify the exit of the forwarding table on the standby device, so that the forwarding work of the message data can be normally performed, the fast switching of the primary and standby networks when the network fails is completed, the message can be normally transmitted in the network, and the reliability of the network is improved.
A sixth embodiment of the present application relates to a data transmission method, which is applied to a gateway of a VxLAN network, and specifically includes the following steps, as shown in fig. 7.
Specifically, a main link of a main device is used for connecting the main device and a network element, so that the main device and the network element can communicate through the main link, a standby link of a standby device is used for connecting the standby device and the network element, so that the standby device and the network element can communicate through the standby link, after the main device, the standby device and the network element are connected, all the main links and the standby links are added into the same multi-rack link aggregation, so that members always exist in the multi-rack link aggregation, and when a network fails, an operation of deleting a forwarding table is not issued, wherein the main device and the standby device can be provider edge devices or other network devices, and the standby device can include a plurality of network devices.
Specifically, a master-slave relationship exists between the primary device and the backup device, when the VxLAN network normally works, the primary device needs to send a forwarding table to the backup device through a certain synchronization mechanism, and therefore a transmission link needs to be established between the primary device and the backup device for transmitting the sent forwarding table, the transmission link is formed by the primary device and the backup device according to a data message, an exit of the transmission link is a first forwarding table of a network element, the backup device forms a second forwarding table of the primary device according to the first forwarding table, the type of the transmission link is determined according to the synchronization mechanism adopted when the forwarding table is sent, the transmission link can be a link aggregation link (PeerLink link), a VxLAN tunnel and the like, and other links which can be used for transmission can be used.
And step 703, binding the ports of the multi-rack link aggregation and the ports of the transmission links into the VxLAN network.
Specifically, multi-chassis link aggregation, transmission links, devices and network elements are enabled to be in a VxLAN network, and message data forwarding work can be performed normally.
Specifically, data messages sent from the remote device to the main device and the standby device cannot be directly sent, the remote device needs to send the data messages to a gateway on the VxLAN network, and after receiving the data messages to be sent, the gateway sends the data messages to the main device and the standby device.
Specifically, after receiving the data packet, the gateway needs to send the data packet to the device, where the sent data packet may be a user data packet, a network protocol packet, a three-layer data packet, or a two-layer data packet, and may be sent in any one of broadcast, multicast, and unicast during the process of sending the data packet.
Compared with the prior art, the VxLAN gateway adds the main link and the standby link into the same multi-frame link for aggregation, so that when a network fails, a command for deleting the forwarding table cannot be issued, a transmission link can be established between the main device and the standby device for synchronizing the forwarding table, and the network can be rapidly switched.
