Abstract
The invention relates to a method for improving the toughness of a masonry structure by adopting a combination of vertical drilling embedded bars and a roof steel tie plate in a wall body and a construction method thereof, belonging to the technical field of toughness building earthquake resistance. Background
At present, a large number of masonry structure buildings in China have no ring beam constructional columns, the toughness required by the masonry wall for earthquake resistance is seriously influenced, and the simple externally-added ring beam constructional column has the following problems: the on-site wet operation has the disadvantages of large construction difficulty, difficult concrete feeding, difficult template supporting and low effective reinforcement construction yield. The vertical drilling is adopted in the wall body, the steel bars are embedded in the vertical drilling, and the roof steel tie plate is combined, so that the whole shock resistance and toughness of the masonry structure can be greatly improved.

step five: installing a roof steel backing plate, and respectively sleeving the reserved holes on the roof steel backing plate on the threaded steel bars;
step six: and fastening the threaded steel bars and the roof steel base plate by adopting nuts at one end of the roof corresponding to the threaded steel bars, and connecting the other end of the threaded steel bars with the foundation through polymer mortar.
